At Sham Shui Po Pier, a few gangsters were playing a shooting game in a warehouse.

A figure rushed over and said with a smile to a man with slightly graying temples and a dragon tattooed on his chest, "Brother Dao, a group of people are coming from not far away. Looks like they're about to start work."

Brother Dao glanced at the money on the table, then at the henchman who had come to report, and casually asked, "Do you know which gang they're from? What do they do?"

The messenger shook his head with a sheepish grin. "I don't know, but four or five cars came. The one in the lead seemed to have bodyguards with him."

As soon as Brother Dao heard that there were bodyguards, he knew that he had met someone with power.

He frowned slightly, and after a while, handed the cards to his henchman beside him, "You play a couple of rounds first, I'm going to call Uncle Hai."

Brother Dao walked over to the phone and skillfully dialed a number.

Five minutes later, Brother Dao skillfully grabbed his weapon, gestured to his brothers who were playing cards, and shouted, "Brothers, let's get to work!"

Seven or eight thugs walked out of the warehouse and headed towards a distance, led by the messenger.

Sham Shui Po is under the control of Uncle Hai, the second boss of Hutchison Whampoa. It's a mixed bag of people.

Those who run companies, those who run warehouses, those who engage in smuggling, and so on.

To survive here, you need to have enough strength. Take Brother Dao for example. He used to be a lowly nobody, but because he performed exceptionally well when Heji and 14K were fighting for control of the docks, he was promoted to a lower-ranking position by Uncle Hai.

Dao Ge also knew that he had only recently been promoted by Hai Shu and was somewhat resentful of the crowd.

So if you want to gain a foothold, you have to listen to Uncle Hai's instructions.

During the phone call just now, Uncle Hai made it clear that no matter who it is or whether they have bodyguards, they must let this group of people know that this place is under Hutchison's protection!

When the group of thugs arrived outside a warehouse with its doors tightly shut, the leader, Brother Dao, suddenly heard a gunshot and was so frightened that his legs wouldn't obey him.

The other underlings were also somewhat bewildered, their legs going weak as they collapsed to the ground.

"This guy's got a real weapon! Why did Uncle Hai get himself into this mess?"

Another gunshot rang out, and the group of thugs looked at each other, then scrambled away on all fours, afraid of being left behind.

A short mule who had fallen behind ran up to Brother Dao, "Boss, boss. That wasn't the real guy's voice just now."

Upon hearing this, Brother Dao grabbed the henchman by the collar. "What? Say that again?"

"I said... I said that wasn't the real guy's voice."

Dao Ge's eyes widened in surprise. "Really!"

"Really...really! When I was hanging around Clearwater Bay, I heard gunfire from a film crew, and that's the sound I heard."

Dao Ge gritted his teeth and shouted, "Damn it! We've fallen for these bastards' trick! Brothers, let's go, let's get back to work!"

A large group of people walked back to the original warehouse, their earlier dishevelment completely gone.

Brother Dao is still furious! A respected figure like Heji Straw Sandals was scared out of his wits by a fake. If word gets out, how will Brother Dao maintain his reputation in the underworld?

Once outside the warehouse, Brother Dao kicked the door open and led the way into the warehouse.

As soon as he entered the warehouse, Brother Dao saw three men standing in the center, each holding a copy of "Truth," discussing something together.

Not far away, five or six people were constantly moving goods.

Yes! The numbers are equal, so the advantage is mine.

Brother Dao stepped forward and yelled, "Damn it! You're working here without even reporting to Brother Dao of Heji? Don't you want to work here anymore?"

Upon hearing this, Li Jiangbo remembered one name: Hutchison.

"What can I do for you?"

Brother Dao wondered if this half-grown boy in front of him was genuinely ignorant or pretending. He'd already taken them in, so why ask what was the matter?

Coupled with the disgraceful scene just now, his anger flared up, and he pointed at Li Jiangbo, cursing, "You bastard, I'm here to take you down! Still trying to play dumb with me? Brothers, get him!"

Li Jiangbo, Yuan Heping, and Lan Naicai stepped back, making way for the bodyguards carrying goods behind them in the center of the area.

As soon as Brother Dao finished speaking, seven or eight of his henchmen rushed forward, howling.

On Li Jiangbo's side, six or seven bodyguards dressed in ordinary clothes stood in front of Li Jiangbo and his two companions.

The short mule at the front, wielding a steel pipe, smashed it down on the person closest to him.

Unexpectedly, his vision blurred and his body went limp as he collapsed to the ground.

Before he fell to the ground, he glanced at his brothers beside him out of the corner of his eye, only to find that the others were in the same situation, just falling in different positions.

The whole process took less than a minute.

Before Dao Ge could even see what was happening, all of his men had been knocked unconscious by Li Jiangbo's bodyguards.

Dao Ge's hand holding the weapon began to tremble, and cold sweat slowly dripped down his forehead.

When the sweat reached his neck, he fainted.

Seeing this, Li Jiangbo waved to Awei, "Awei! Same as always, first a 'ten-mile fragrance' (a traditional Chinese greeting), then a photo for record-keeping, and finally, your signature."

Awei nodded. "I understand, boss."

More than an hour later.

Awei and Ayong walked towards Li Jiangbo carrying a bag.

Li Jiangbo could smell the odor when the two were about five meters away from him. He looked back and asked, "All done?"

Awei handed the package to Li Jiangbo, "It's all taken care of."

Li Jiangbo nodded, put the things away, and then started discussing with the others.

Yuen Woo-ping glanced at the distance with some concern. "Director Lee, your bodyguards...aren't they locals, are they?"

Li Jiangbo smiled slightly, "From the mainland, not bad skills, huh?"

Lan Naicai was still shaken. He had been all prepared, even hanging up the hook. Who knew Director Li's bodyguards would be so formidable?

Another hour or so later.

Several cars drove away from the dock, and Li Jiangbo, who was in one of the cars, was thinking about something with his eyes closed.

Ah Cai, Ah Li, and Ah Wen, who had recently joined the group in the back seat, remained somewhat silent.

They were supposed to be bodyguards for big businessmen, so why are they doing this kind of thing?

The few of them were just guarding outside the container; they weren't wearing gas masks.

When Awei made his move, the three of them were disgusted and almost threw up everything they had eaten at noon.

What is this doing? It's so powerful!

The three curious individuals put on gas masks, quietly opened the container door, and witnessed a scene they would never forget.

All that could be seen was Brother Dao, who had just been knocked unconscious, posing naked for Awei. Beside him was a bubbling iron pot, from which the aroma was wafting.

After a long while, Ah Wen finally spoke up and asked, "Boss, won't doing this cause any problems?"

Li Jiangbo looked up at Awen and laughed, "What could possibly go wrong? We didn't steal from them or rob them. We just took a few photos and signed a few IOUs."

Ah Cai nodded upon hearing this. "Boss, how about we try a different approach? After all, gas masks are quite expensive!"

Li Jiangbo looked completely bewildered. "????"

What are you talking about? Saving me money?

Ah Wen muttered to himself, "Should we use waterboarding? That way, no one will have to suffer."

Li Jiangbo certainly understood what Awen meant by waterboarding, but wasn't that a bit inhumane? He just wanted to teach these scoundrels a lesson and get some leverage over them; he didn't want anyone killed.

Ali, standing nearby, retorted, "Waterboarding is too harmful! I think it's better to use drugs, like laxatives or aphrodisiacs."

Li Jiangbo was speechless. What was all this about?

If I really did that, I'd probably have to wash my eyes with eye drops before I could look at these people in the eye when I looked at the photos.

As Awei drove, he said, "Boss, I found out a few things earlier!"

A glint flashed in Li Jiangbo's eyes. "What is it?"

"That scoundrel said he was acting on orders from his boss, Uncle Hai. Should we...?"

Li Jiangbo thought for a moment and asked, "How confident are you?"

"Eighty percent!"

"Alright! Then don't go to Shili Xiang, after all, he's the second-in-command at Hutchison."

"Understood, boss!"
