I became the slime toy of the evil dragon girl?

Chapter 37 This is a refreshing read.

The play ended amidst enthusiastic applause from the audience.

The adventurers who had flocked to the square returned to the tavern in twos and threes.

The tavern was filled with excited chatter.

"That was amazing! How could that scene of the dragon breathing fire be so realistic?"

"Have you ever seen a dragon? How can you just assume it's realistic?"

"Hey, damn it, I've seen dragons before! Cough cough... By the way, this dragon's acting is pretty reasonable."

"Come on, how could monsters reason? It's just for the show."

Ian overheard snippets of conversation coming from downstairs and seemed to be deep in thought.

"Lord Ian, what do you think?" Lilith asked.

She seemed somewhat moved, especially by the lonely yet powerful aura of the dragon when it was awakened, which reminded her of Vivian.

"Need my critique?" Ian replied, "Not so great, about NPC level..."

While Lilith was still pondering the strange words Ian had uttered.

The door to the private room was pushed open.

Mirabelle stood outside with a smile: "Are you three satisfied? I'll take you to meet Lorenzo."

Ian and his group left the tavern through the backstage passage and headed to the inn where the theater troupe was staying.

The hostel's backyard had been booked by a theater troupe and was now piled high with props and luggage.

The actors were removing their makeup and getting ready; the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant.

Most of the actors and staff here are not human.

Instead, they are mostly of various subhuman races, especially actresses.

This made Ian wonder if Lorenzo's so-called "thinking about the coexistence of different races" was just a way of thinking about picking up beautiful women of different races?

Commander Lorenzo was a human male who looked to be around thirty years old, with long blond hair and a handsome face.

His flirtatious eyes, however, made him appear somewhat frivolous.

He was dressed in a flamboyant outfit, with a white cloak embroidered with unknown floral patterns over it.

He was directing several staff members to carefully pack away the expensive illusion magic device.

"Mirabelle! My dear friend!"

He opened his arms, but Mirabell seemed to have anticipated this, and with a nimble sidestep, he missed his target.

Lorenzo wasn't embarrassed at all, and quickly turned his gaze to Lilith and the other two.

His gaze lingered on Lilith's hood for two seconds before settling on Barbara's face.

"Oh, God of Light!" Lorenzo exclaimed, clutching his chest dramatically. "Such pure and flawless beauty! May I ask your name, young lady?"

Without a word, he grabbed Barbara's hand and bent down to give her a standard hand kiss.

Barbara's face turned bright red, and she stood there, at a loss for what to do.

"I am Lorenzo, the guild leader and playwright of the Dream Veil. And this gentleman is...?"

Lorenzo's gaze fell once again on Lilith, who was shrouded in a cloak.

The delicate lips peeking out from under the hood made him guess that Lilith was also a beautiful woman.

He was about to repeat his old tricks and give a warm, aristocratic greeting.

A dark blue jelly peeked out from Lilith's arms.

Lorenzo was visibly taken aback when he saw a slime.

However, he didn't take the slime seriously and still went to meet Lilith.

Faced with the enthusiastic Lorenzo, Lilith hesitated for a moment and looked at Ian.

Ian probably knew that Lilith was hesitant about whether to reveal her monster identity.

He nodded to indicate that Lilith was alright.

Lilith looked up and pulled down her hood: "We come from Dragon Territory..."

Lorenzo's eyes widened slightly.

He noticed Lilith's pointed ears and her height, which was significantly shorter than that of the elves.

"A fairy?"

After a brief moment of distraction, he quickly regained his smile.

"I see. Mirabelle said there would be a 'special guest,' I didn't expect it to be this special."

Lorenzo suddenly saw the slime he treated like a pet and said this.

"I think the special guest Mirabelle was referring to is me. My name is Ian. Lilith is my... bodyguard."

Lorenzo blinked, as if he thought he had misheard.

He turned to look at Mirabelle, who smiled and nodded.

He then looked at Lilith, who remained expressionless.

Finally, he looked at the blob of slime, opened his mouth, closed it again, then opened it again: "A slime? It can talk?"

"There will be more," Ian continued, "like criticizing the clichéd plot of the film you made."

Lorenzo's expression gradually shifted from shock to excitement.

He leaned closer, examining Ian closely: "Incredible! Mirabelle, where did you find this...magical creature?!"

"It's fate," Mirabelle smiled.

The conversation that followed became much easier.

Lorenzo was indeed an interesting person. Although he was a womanizer, he was quite talented in art.

When Ian complained that his plot was cliché, he didn't get angry; instead, he discussed it with great interest.

"The audience loves this!" Lorenzo said, shrugging with a hint of helplessness. "Heroes fight dragons, heroes save damsels in distress, good triumphs over evil. Classics never go out of style!"

No, don't you get tired of seeing similar storylines over the years?

Then let me give you a little bit of a shock from Earth.

Ian forced a crooked smile and said to Lorenzo, "Then let's attract them with a more exciting story. I'll tell you one."

"...Thus Snow White said: Thirty years east of the river, thirty years west of the river, never underestimate a young girl's potential!"

Ian slowly began to tell the story he had just made up.

……

"How could Xiao Yan be so wicked! Why did he have to break off his engagement with Snow White?!" Lilith stomped her feet in anger and said indignantly.

She was initially dutifully observing her surroundings, but as Ian's story unfolded...

Lilith was completely absorbed in it, and started shouting and yelling about Snow White's plight.

Ian clenched his small hands, waved them vigorously, and loudly echoed Lilith, "Yeah! Isn't this bullying the honest one?!"

Barbara raised her little hand high, her innocent face filled with curiosity: "Lord Ian, what exactly happened when Snow White escaped from Shawshank Prison and encountered the Seven Warlords of the Sea? Why don't you explain it clearly..."

"Hey, hey, hey! Stop! This isn't a free segment!" Ian quickly shook his head, skipping the topic. "No, let me continue!"

Next, Snow White learned the Sharingan from Doraemon. She returned to her kingdom and launched a war between the North and South, only to be betrayed by her beloved general, Illidan Stormrage. However, with the artillery support of General Li Yunlong, she defeated Xiao Yan's magical girl army and liberated the black...green skins. Ultimately, she ascended the throne, married the Crooked-Mouthed Dragon King, and enacted new policies allowing humans and monsters to coexist peacefully.

Lorenzo was truly dumbfounded.

He was initially confused, then surprised, and finally shocked.

"Wait, wait a minute!"

When Ian said, "Snow White used her Sharingan to copy Li Yunlong's Italian cannon and blasted down the walls of Hogwarts,"

Ian had completely fabricated a story to the point of being oblivious to the nature of the world.

Lorenzo finally couldn't help but interrupt, "What...what is all this?! The Crooked-Mouthed Dragon King? Sharingan? Italian cannons? The audience has never heard of these things!"

"Does it matter?" Ian asked with a mysterious expression.

"I'm just asking you, isn't this story satisfying?!"
