After seeing Qi Lin off, Lin Yu returned to his somewhat quiet home, a subtle sense of unease lingering in his heart. He frowned slightly, his gaze falling on the Kabuto insect device that floated silently beside him.

"Did I... forget something?" he muttered to himself.

Kabuto's insect instrument gently turned towards him, its compound eyes flashing faintly, as if it were thinking in sync with him.

"Oh, right," Lin Yu said suddenly, his eyes sharpening, "that uninvited woman at noon... Kabuto, doesn't she look familiar?"

The Kabuto insect instrument flew up and down without hesitation, nodding affirmatively.

"Silver hair...calls himself 'Xiao Xi'..." Lin Yu rubbed his chin, his mind racing through known cosmic information. A name and image suddenly became clear. "Heh, if I'm not mistaken, that's not some new neighbor at all, but one of the three angel kings, the Heavenly King, He Xi."

He looked at his partner, his tone inquisitive: "Kabuto, you said she concealed her identity and came to find us specifically. What is her purpose?"

The Kabuto insect detector wobbled from side to side, indicating that it also had no way of knowing.

"Strange," Lin Yu frowned even deeper. "According to the original 'script,' the first Angel King to descend to Earth at this point should have been Holy Keisha. Why isn't this research geek tinkering with her advanced technology in Heavenly City, but instead running off to Earth to be my 'neighbor'?"

He shook his head, temporarily suppressing these chaotic thoughts.

"Forget it, we'll deal with whatever comes our way. There's no use thinking about it now."

He turned and walked towards the kitchen, his tone returning to its usual calm, as if they had just been discussing dinner ingredients rather than the pinnacle of gaming. He waved to his companion behind him:

"Come here and help me cook."

The Kabuto insect maker emitted a soft, pleasant buzz, then transformed into a streak of red light and gracefully followed, hovering beside Lin Yu, ready to fulfill its duty as a "kitchen assistant."

Just as Lin Yu placed the steaming hot ramen on the table, the doorbell rang again, at an inopportune moment.

"What's going on today?" He frowned slightly, took off his apron, and walked towards the door.

As soon as the door opened, there it was again—the silver-haired figure.

"What are you doing here again?" Lin Yu looked at her and calmly revealed her identity, "He Xi, the Heavenly King."

"Oh, you've been found out~" He Xi wasn't surprised at all. Instead, she smiled and tilted her head. "Aren't you going to invite me in?"

Lin Yu stepped aside to make way for her, saying, "Come in." After saying that, he turned around and went back to the kitchen. A moment later, he brought out a bowl of ramen and gently placed it on the table in front of He Xi.

He Xi readily sat down, picked up her chopsticks, took a bite, and a genuine look of appreciation flashed in her eyes: "I didn't expect you to be such a good cook, little one."

"Speak," Lin Yu sat down opposite her, without touching his chopsticks, his gaze calm, "The Heavenly King's presence here cannot be merely to sample my cooking."

While eating her noodles elegantly yet at a leisurely pace, He Xi spoke as naturally as if discussing the weather: "I heard from Yan that a super soldier who may have access to the time realm has appeared on Earth, so I came to check it out." She raised her eyes, her azure pupils sparkling with the pure curiosity unique to researchers. "And, by the way, I'd like to study it."

"See, you've already seen it." Lin Yu's tone left no room for negotiation. "Forget about researching it."

"Child," He Xi put down her chopsticks, deliberately put on a stern face, and said with a hint of elder-like teasing, "you should know how to respect the elderly and care for the young."

"Heh." Lin Yu scoffed lightly, unmoved. "If you've finished your noodles, please leave."

In the air, invisible positions collided silently: one carrying the majesty and curiosity accumulated over millennia, the other carrying an inviolable bottom line and a sense of alienation.
