Earth, the Mangdang Mountain, an internal passageway. The relatively relaxed post-war rest period didn't last long; the air still carried the lingering smell of metal and energy. At a relatively quiet corner of the passageway, Tsukasa Kadoya was holding Kirin's hand, whispering something. Kirin had a faint blush on her face and occasionally gave him a reproachful glare; the atmosphere was warm and intimate.

"Cough cough."

A few clear, deliberate coughs abruptly broke the silence of this small space.

The two separated as quickly as cats whose tails had been stepped on. Qi Lin even instinctively put her hands behind her back, her face flushing bright red. They turned around at the same time and saw Lin Yu standing silently a few steps behind them, his hands in his pockets, his face expressionless, but his eyes clearly saying, "I saw everything."

"Brother...brother!" Qi Lin called out in a flustered manner, like a primary school student caught doing something wrong.

Kadoya Tsukasa glared at Lin Yu with annoyance, his eyes full of accusation, "Why are you disturbing our time together?": "How did you get here? You appeared out of nowhere."

Lin Yu ignored him, his gaze lingering for a second on his younger sister's rosy cheeks before turning to Kadoya Tsukasa, his tone flat: "I need to speak with Kadoya Tsukasa about something." He said to Qi Lin, "Little sister, you wait here for a bit, I need to borrow this guy."

"Oh... okay." Qi Lin nodded obediently, then gently nudged Kadoya Tsukasa, who was still standing there, and gestured to him with her eyes, "Go quickly."

Tsukasa Kadoya almost laughed in anger after being pushed. He glanced back at Kirin, his eyes clearly saying, "You just 'sold' me that easily?"

Qi Lin glared at him back, then mouthed silently, "Go now!"

Tsukasa Kadoya, feeling helpless, walked over to Lin Yu, his tone still a bit sharp: "What is it? Why do you have to say it now? Can't you see I'm busy?"

Lin Yu glanced at him, offering no explanation, but simply raised his hand and conjured a familiar light barrier beside him—a passage to his small world or for spatial jumps. He stepped inside first, leaving only the words, "Follow me."

Tsukasa Kadoya glanced at the light screen, then looked back at Kirin who had given him a "good luck" gesture. He sighed and muttered, "Really..." but still took a step and followed.

The two figures disappeared into the light curtain one after the other, and the halo at the entrance of the passage immediately contracted and vanished, as if it had never existed. Only Qi Lin was left standing alone in the quiet passage, gently patting her still slightly flushed cheeks, her gaze fixed on the spot where they had disappeared, a hint of curiosity and a faint worry flashing in her eyes.

A mottled blue galaxy, a forbidden zone in the deep sea. Here, there is no light, only the eerie blue glow emitted by the organisms themselves, and a silent ocean woven from powerful mental networks. Several enormous, streamlined black shadows silently float above the abyssal trench; they are the decision-makers within the Triangular Civilization.

Spiritual communication takes place silently and efficiently between them, like a deep-sea undercurrent:

"Earth, that 'god,' has rejected our request for cooperation." The triangular entity named Lanbo conveyed a clear yet weighty message.

"As expected," Lan Cang's thoughts were filled with cold calculation. "His form of power is completely different from ours, and he has a strong tendency to protect human civilization. His elimination of our messenger is both a warning and a demonstration of his aversion to the 'ceding' rhetoric."

"Should we turn to Karl?" another thought arose.

"Karl is unreliable." Lan's response was resolute, her mental fluctuations filled with deep apprehension and rejection. "His 'Void' is essentially about devouring and destroying, which contradicts our fundamental needs for survival, expansion, and evolution. If we attach ourselves to him, we may ultimately become nourishment for the Void's devouring, or lose our sense of self and become a distorted existence."

"But we need allies, we need the strength to build a defense together when 'them' truly begin to emerge from the cracks," Lan Cang analyzed. "Even on our home turf at sea, our chances of winning against that level of erosion are extremely low."

A brief silence followed, broken only by the deep, muffled rumble of the earth's crust.

"Perhaps we have no other choice," an older entity, known as Lanxing, finally conveyed the decisive message, "Prioritize contacting Karl, observing his preparations for 'opening the door' and his attitude towards us. Simultaneously, assess the exploitable value of Hua Ye and his forces. If neither of these can provide a reliable framework for cooperation, or if the cost is too high…"

Its mental fluctuations suddenly became sharp and aggressive: "Then, we must proactively launch a controlled, large-scale war before 'their' tentacles fully extend into this universe. Not for conquest, but for 'purification' and 'selection'—cleaning out those fragile civilizations and regions that are destined to collapse in the subsequent impact and may instead become 'their' nourishment or springboard. We must concentrate all our strength to build the final line of defense in the star field most suitable for our form, and in the guise of 'war,' greet... or rather, 'resist' their arrival."
