Super God Academy: The Stranger
Chapter 3 The Angel Who Descended from Heaven
In the night sky, a shooting star flashed by, but the powerful life magnetic field it carried was like a sun falling from the sky in Qian Mu's perception, immediately alarming him.
Startled from his memories, Chimu watched the free-falling "meteor" and estimated its trajectory and location. He eventually discovered that it was less than ten kilometers away. Chimu decided to go and take a look. He had been alone for too long. Even with the system's company, the system was not an intelligent being and could not completely alleviate Chimu's loneliness.
Now, a life form has actually fallen from the sky, and its life magnetic field has not weakened at all after passing through the planet's atmosphere. It must be a high-level life form capable of traveling through the universe in its physical body. Moreover, judging from the fact that it fell straight down from the sky, it is estimated that it was seriously injured. Faced with an opportunity to return to civilized society, Qianmu decided to take the risk.
However, Qianmu still relied on the system to leave a backup plan. If this high-level life form that turned into a meteor were to harm his own life, the system would automatically protect his safety and transfer him to a safe place.
Qianmu had pre-programmed various calculation formulas within his body, prioritizing escape and defense. Facing a high-level life form, he didn't think his meager attack power would be of any use. Of course, this was just Qianmu giving himself some psychological comfort; he estimated that his speed couldn't match the opponent's, unless the opponent was already severely injured and unable to move.
Qianmu manipulated the surrounding energy to envelop himself, concealing his figure, and slowly made his way to the place where the "meteor" fell. Along the way, he tried his best to remain calm and hide his information, blending into the surrounding environment without revealing any flaws.
"Wow~, is that an angel?!"
As Qianmu walked around the crater, he saw the true appearance of the creatures with the life magnetic field and gasped in shock.
The creatures in the crater really resembled angels from Western mythology. They were human females with short blonde hair but with pure white wings on their backs, wearing armor and a small red dress. Except for the lack of a halo, they were very similar.
However, considering that some myths do not describe whether angels have halos, it's possible that I've misremembered.
Upon seeing the angel, Qianmu became even more excited. If angels really exist, and they are almost identical to those described in Earth's mythology, is it possible that the descriptions of angels in Earth's mythology are evidence of extraterrestrial sightings, or that they are simply forces created on Earth by angelic beings?
If that's really the case, then maybe I can return to Earth through this angel, since that's the place I'm familiar with. Perhaps I'll leave my homeland and explore the vast universe once I've grown tired of it.
"Who's there!"
A sharp shout suddenly rang out from the crater, followed by the sound of armor scraping against each other. Clearly, this being, who appeared to be an angel, was still capable of movement and had detected Qian Mu's presence, as the sound was coming directly towards him.
"Don't get me wrong, I just saw a shooting star fall here and wanted to see what it was."
To Qianmu's surprise, the female angel's language was almost identical to Chinese, and the meaning was also very similar based on the environment and context. Qianmu didn't know what the deeper reason was, but he used his mental power to control the air vibration and emitted a sound at a 75-degree angle to his upper right.
Qianmu didn't know if he had really been exposed, or if the angel was just bluffing him by saying he was lucky to have turned his head this way, but Qianmu had no intention of exposing himself.
"Stop hiding, your mental energy fluctuations have already given you away. Aren't you standing behind a big tree at the edge of this pit in this direction?"
The angel's voice had a somewhat helpless tone, and it was still directed towards Qianmu.
Only then did Qianmu realize that he had truly been exposed, and he revealed his form. However, he did not take any further steps to get closer to the angel inside the pit.
"Kamigawa body?"
The angel's voice was somewhat puzzled. When it observed the planet from a distance in space, it had not found any trace of civilization. How could a pure divine being suddenly appear? Was it a cosmic traveler from some civilization?
After some civilizations reach a certain level and begin exploring the universe, a small group of people within that civilization will explore the universe independently. The gains from these explorations belong entirely to them; they only need to submit the star maps they encounter to their civilization, and they can profit from these maps. This is similar in nature to the individually organized adventure fleets of the Age of Exploration on Earth, except that the ocean has been replaced by the starry sky, multiplying both the dangers and the rewards.
"Are you a cosmic traveler from some civilization? I am Zhixin, a high-ranking guardian angel from the Angel Civilization. You should have heard of my name."
The angel revealed the background of his civilization: the Angel Civilization is the highest-level civilization in the known universe. Unless it is a civilization that has just left its home planet, everyone should know the great name of the Angel Civilization.
Angel Zhixin thought that by revealing the name of the Angel Civilization, she could dispel the other party's suspicions. After all, the Angel Civilization was the maintainer of the order of the entire universe and had a very high reputation among those lower civilizations. Helping an angel was something that all civilizations dreamed of.
"I'm sorry, I'm not a cosmic traveler, and I know nothing about the angelic civilization you speak of. But can I trust you?"
Qianmu did not impersonate the cosmic traveler mentioned by the angel. Any life form capable of withstanding atmospheric friction with its own body is a shrewd individual. Even if it was originally stupid, it would become smarter as it evolved. It was not something that a fledgling like himself, who had only embarked on the path of evolution through inheritance, could fool.
If Qianmu were to actually claim to be a Cosmic Walker, and then fail to answer the following technical questions, or gives irrelevant answers, the result would be: Who are you? Why are you impersonating a Cosmic Walker? What is your purpose in approaching me? Tell the truth, or I'll make you wish you were dead.
Then Qianmu was being hunted down, and from the other party's words, the Angel Civilization was a very famous civilization. Generally, famous civilizations must be powerful, otherwise they would have been killed long ago. Qianmu did not want to be trapped in a life of running away for a long time in the future.
Qian Mu wouldn't be so arrogant as to think he could fool a high-level person from an advanced civilization. Novels may have a "brain-degrading" effect, but Qian Mu doesn't believe that a world that values science would make a supercomputer unable to even see the error in 3*3=2.
