Chapter 25 [Chapter 4 Joint Operation Mission Completed]

"It's a little faster than I expected."

Kingpin's gaze fell on Lynn, his eyes showing no sign of panic, but rather a hint of appreciation.

From the moment he entered the Fisk Building, his every move and his relentless, overwhelming offensive continued until he was right in front of him.

Kingpin saw it all.

It must be said that he was indeed extremely curious about this Asian man, even though there were hardly any living people left in the entire building at that moment.

King showed not a trace of fear.

"From the initial skirmishes to the two encounters in Queens, and the number of people involved in last night's direct confrontation..."

"And you've come all this way, with hundreds of people dying at your hands along the way... Lynn, you certainly haven't disappointed me!"

His tone grew increasingly heavy until finally, Kingpin stood up, leaned forward slightly, and stared intently into the distance.

Just the sheer aura of climbing step by step from the bottom to the top is enough to make people tremble with fear, even without the aid of "superpowers".

Unfortunately, the person he was facing was not a normal person.

Lynn noticed that no one was greeting him.

He picked up a bottle of wine and poured it for himself, then sat down opposite Kingpin with his feet up on the table, as if he were at home.

He took a small sip and then slowly shook his head.

No one knows whether he was rejecting the wine because it didn't suit his taste, or rejecting Kingpin's assessment of him.

"Disappointed? I have no interest in disappointing you."

"I'm here only so you can collect the bounty."

"A bounty?" Kingpin laughed as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world, but the laughter became more and more ferocious and shrill.

"So that's how it is. So you like money?"

"I can give you as much as you want!"

"But which is more important, money or me?"

Upon seeing this.

Lynn also stood up and leaned forward slightly, speaking softly.

"Without you... it's very important to me."

The office fell silent instantly upon hearing this.

Lynn noticed the hands on both sides around him and the ninjas gripping their long swords tightly, the assassins with their hands on the triggers.

However, he didn't take it to heart.

Instead, his gaze turned cold, as if he were staring at an ant.

"I hate being treated like prey. You offer me a price to kill you, so I'll kill my way to you. Isn't that fair?"

Kingpin felt incredibly disappointed. Why? Why would someone he admired utter that word?

fair?

What a disgusting vocabulary.

Kingpin turned to look at New York City below, recalling the battles he had fought all the way, his eyes gradually filled with ruthlessness.

"I thought we were the same kind of people."

"Lynn, we are actually the same kind of people. We don't believe in so-called justice, we both see human life as worthless, we only believe in power."

"The people you killed, the blood on your hands... you're no cleaner than me. Are you trying to say you were forced! That you didn't actually want to kill?"

Lynn immediately scoffed.

"We started from different points. Whoever wants to kill me, I will kill them; whoever points a gun at me, I will make sure they can never raise a gun again."

"So...you must die today. This is a gift, a return gift for the surprise you prepared for me."

Kingpin's expression instantly changed, his appreciation replaced by gloom: "You think killing me will end all this?"

"S.H.I.E.L.D. can't tolerate you; they're using you now. Once you're no longer of use, they won't hesitate to eliminate you!"

Lynn remained noncommittal. If he could beat that "blonde girl" right now, would he be so hypocritical?

He randomly raised the blade in his hand and pointed it directly at Kingpin.

"That's a pity...you won't live to see that day."

The moment the words left his mouth, Kingpin's expression suddenly darkened. He didn't speak, but simply took a half-step back.

This half-step is the signal.

In an instant.

The ninjas who had half-surrounded Lynn immediately rushed towards him, some of them throwing poisoned shuriken to seal off the space.

Some ninjas seized the opportunity to draw their long swords, leaped up, and slashed at his legs and neck with their sharp blades.

At the same time, the mercenaries in the left and right corners pulled their triggers simultaneously, the bullets weaving a net that blocked all escape routes.

Lynn didn't retreat; he simply looked at Kingpin directly opposite him and smiled. The next second, his figure disappeared from everyone's sight.

"Calm down! He has 7 seconds left!"

Kingpin's voice immediately rang out.

How could he not know about Lynn's abilities?

It was just too sudden, leaving him completely unprepared. Otherwise, how could the lives of everyone in the entire building have been lost in just three seconds?

In fact, if Lynn hadn't been overly cautious during the "climbing" process, not wanting to get hurt in the slightest, he wouldn't have wasted those three seconds.

"Really? Seven seconds is enough time for me to do a lot of things..."

A ghostly voice suddenly rang out, and at the same time exploded in everyone's heart; no one knew where it came from.

The bullet whizzed past, and the poisoned shuriken struck the floor, sparks flying.

Two seconds later, two loud gunshots drew everyone's attention as the ninja and the assassin turned to look.

Only two dazzling flames appeared in my sight.

When they came to their senses, the powerful impact slammed the five or six corpses against the wall, and blood instantly stained the wall red.

Immediately after, Lynn, having landed a successful blow, turned sideways to retreat and dodge the incoming longsword, then swung his sword horizontally using the momentum.

Three more ninjas were cut in two with a single stroke.

"Four seconds."

Hearing Lynn's blatant provocation, Mr. Negative roared, "You're asking for it!"

His skin instantly turned dark purple, his body swelled up, and he punched the approximate location where Lynn was hiding.

A glint of anticipation flashed in Kingpin's eyes. This punch was enough to shatter a steel plate, and even if he was fast, he would have a hard time escaping unscathed.

Lynn, hidden in the shadows, had a cold smile on his lips.

It's nothing more than energy absorption. Do you really think you're the Black Emperor?

Without further ado, Lynn plunged into the crowd, heading towards the three assassins who were positioned at a corner on the other side.

A fist slammed into his face with explosive force, and with a muffled groan, his head deflated like a punctured balloon, caved in.

A punch landed on his ribs, and he was sent flying into the air.

A punch to the jaw sent him flying.

The three bodies went limp almost simultaneously.

The remaining ninjas did not back down; their fear had long since vanished. The six of them instantly formed a formation and slowly pressed forward.

However, the final result remained unchanged.

When Lynn's voice came again, the huge office was now empty except for 18 corpses, Kingpin, and Mr. Negative.

"A total of five seconds."

They were not given a chance to react.

Lynn's figure suddenly appeared behind Mr. Negative.

Invulnerable to swords and spears?

He sneered, gripped the Gale Blade tightly with both hands, veins bulging on his arms, and slashed down fiercely along the gap in his spine!

With a crisp "crack," the rock-hard skin was cleaved open, and blood gushed out.

Mr. Negative turned around in disbelief, only to feel an incredibly strong gust of wind rushing towards him.

When hit on the head by something that looked like a stick, the thought of turning around to avoid it instantly froze, and he stood there stunned.

Even Lynn was surprised to see this.

Is the effect of [Brutal Power] really that good?

Without hesitation, the blade pierced through the skull again.

The next second, Mr. Negative's body collapsed to the ground with a thud, his dark purple skin quickly faded, and he fell completely silent.

Lynn immediately put the stick back into his ring, flicked the blood off the blade, and the invisibility effect ended just in time.

He stood amidst the corpses, his clothes unstained by a single drop of blood, his gaze toward Kingpin still filled with mockery.

"Exactly... 7 seconds."

At the same time, a system notification sounded in my mind.
