The elven mage's all-out attack vanished just like that.

People stared in disbelief, as if time had stood still.

Before they could react, a ghostly green light suddenly shone from the starship's dark gray metal hull.

The light was like the breath of some enormous creature as it revived, flickering and carrying an ominous aura.

Immediately afterwards, a massive magical resonance slowly emanated from the depths of the starship.

It started out faint, but quickly turned into a deafening roar.

At that moment, all the elven mages let out painful screams as their staffs began to shatter.

"Retreat! The entire army retreats immediately!" Kellan finally realized what was happening and roared hoarsely.

The eerie green runes on the starship's surface erupted with blinding beams of light, engulfing the elven army that had stormed into the camp.

The ground began to shake violently.

Under the glow of the eerie green light, the hard red soil melted at a visible speed into a churning, dark purple, highly acidic swamp.

"My horse! Oh!"

As soon as a warhorse lifted its hoof, its forelegs were corroded by the strong acid swamp, exposing the bare white bones.

It neighed mournfully, and its owner on its back fell to the ground, completely swallowed by the boiling sour mud, without even a bubble rising.

In the blink of an eye, half of the elven army that had just stormed the camp had been melted away, leaving nothing behind.

The awakened starship immediately revealed its ferocious nature, mercilessly devouring everything in its path.

The elves on the outskirts scattered and fled, but they soon discovered that the sky in front of them had changed color.

Meteorites burning with green flames, trailing long streaks, fell from the sky like a torrential rain.

Green clouds of smoke erupted from the earth, spreading a putrid, toxic fog.

The corrosive acid swamp, the spread of poisonous gas, and the rain of fire from the sky transformed the entire camp into a veritable inferno.

Kellan sat motionless on the unicorn, the scene before him seemingly slowed down countless times.

His sacred domain fully expanded, barely resisting the erosion of purgatory, but it was still teetering on the brink of collapse.

He couldn't understand why all this was happening.

The 50,000-strong elven army, fully prepared for battle, was slaughtered before they even saw a glimpse of the enemy.

On the starship tower, Balman coldly watched the elves struggling in purgatory.

"My lord, the core energy gathering matrix has reached its critical point. 'Light of Elemental Annihilation' is ready. It can be released at any time."

"Very well. Let's put an end to this farce."

In the sky, a huge purple magic circle with a diameter of over a kilometer slowly unfolded.

At the center of the magic circle, a blinding purplish-black energy sphere was rapidly compressing.

The surrounding space was visibly distorted and cracked with black lines due to this terrifying energy.

"A gift from nature," Balman nodded. "The magic of these spirits is ten percent greater than I imagined."

He turned his gaze to another area on the sand table.

"However, the elves are just an appetizer. Now that we have the power, it's time to conquer the orcs."

Just then, the communication crystal in the command center suddenly emitted a blinding scarlet light.

"What's going on?" Balman's composure vanished instantly, his brows furrowing tightly.

This scarlet glow represents the highest level of battle damage alert.

A first-level wizard has died?

"It's the commando team you sent to the Emerald Barrier!" the adjutant exclaimed in shock. "Communications are being severely jammed!"

Balman abruptly pushed aside his adjutant and stood in front of the communication crystal himself.

He placed his hands on the crystal, and his immense spiritual power instantly poured into it, forcefully breaking through the interference barrier.

A layer of water ripples appeared on the surface of the crystal, and then a violently shaking, noisy holographic image was projected into mid-air.

An eerie rain of greyish-green spores was falling from the sky. A wizard in a grey robe was running frantically with his back to the camera.

His robes were tattered, his left arm was severed at the root, and blood was gushing out.

"Help... Lord Balman! Save us!" A voice, distorted with extreme fear, came from the screen.

Balman recognized the voice.

That was the captain of the assault team, a genuine first-level wizard, Polger.

In order to capture the Emerald Fortress, the rear base of the elves, without bloodshed, while simultaneously annihilating the army of Kellan.

Balman secretly dispatched an elite commando team consisting of three first-level wizards and fifty senior apprentices to bypass the Emerald Barrier and head straight for it.

In Balman's calculations, this powerful force would find it a piece of cake to take down a poorly defended city.

How did things come to this mess?

"Bolger! Calm down! Report your location and the enemy's situation! Where are the other two?" Balman roared at Crystal.

"Dead! All dead! Ivan and Karl are both dead!" Polger screamed desperately in the video. He ran while randomly unleashing exploding fireballs.

"Those aren't elves! They're monsters! Unkillable monsters!" Polger's voice was completely consumed by panic. "There's an unidentified elf... he's turned the entire forest into a man-eating stomach! We're being slaughtered!"

In the scene, a dark red vine as thick as a water vat suddenly bursts out of the ground behind Polger, like a raging giant python, and instantly pierces through Polger's chest.

Polger's screams abruptly ceased. The vine lifted him high into the air, the scene violently swirling before finally fading into complete darkness with a piercing beep.

Communication was interrupted.

The command center was deathly silent. The only sound was the faint hum of the machinery.

Balman stared intently at the now-dimmed communication crystal, his facial muscles twitching violently.

His eyes were bloodshot, and an unprecedented rage and shock churned wildly in his chest.

Three first-level wizards! Fifty advanced apprentices!

They were all slaughtered in half a day, unable to even escape!
