Tokyo Tutor: Starting with My Ex-Girlfriend's Sister

Warm sunlight streamed into the kitchen, and the early summer breeze carried a faint aroma of roasting.

"Good morning, Kaze. Today's breakfast is tamagoyaki and miso soup."

Tamagoyaki is an omelet, while miso soup, made by Keiko Inoue, uses fresh kelp and tofu, along with oysters, resulting in a very sweet and delicious flavor.

"It's so delicious!"

"I specially bought oysters, Hefeng, eat more of them to replenish your nutrition."

"it is good."

Yamazaki Kazuka smiled and started eating with Inoue Keiko, who was sitting down.

"Wafuu, do you have any other plans for today?"

"I don't have any other plans today, Keiko, what about you?"

"I also have a book club meeting this morning. I've arranged to meet with a few authors to discuss their new books."

At this point, Keiko Inoue remembered something.

"Oh, right, there's one more thing. Can you smell me? Do I have a strange odor?"

"It's alright, didn't you take a shower yesterday, Keiko-neechan?"

"But the smell was so strong yesterday, I thought it would stay with me forever..."

"Don't be afraid, Sister Huizi. People have metabolism, these smells won't last forever."

Yamazaki Kazukaze's words dispelled Inoue Keiko's concerns.

After breakfast, Yamazaki Kazuka watched Inoue Keiko's retreating figure, recalling last night when she kept asking herself, "If it were Natsuki, what would she do now?"

She is a children's literature author who is not very popular. Every time she releases a new book, although it sells out, she can never get a second printing.

A few days ago, in order to prepare for a class reunion, Keiko Inoue wrote a romance script about herself and Kazufu Yamazaki, and then discovered that she had a real talent for writing romance novels.

So today, Keiko Inoue invited a few close friends to share this idea with them and discuss ideas for her new book.

Upon arriving at the book club, Keiko Inoue warmly greeted each friend with a hug.

Keiko Inoue asked, holding Chiba's pitiful hand.

"I've been visiting hot spring inns in Hokkaido these past few days, hoping to get some inspiration from there."

"So, have you got any inspiration yet?"

"Yes, I planned to write a story about missed opportunities and regrets. I wanted the story to take place in winter, but I ended up writing it in summer."

"Do you want to write a love story?"

"Yeah, writing suspense novels is just too mentally taxing. I want to try something different."

"Coincidentally, I also want to write a love story between a landlord and a tenant."

The two walked hand in hand to the tea table to chat.

In this book club, Keiko Inoue and Karen Chiba have the best relationship.

In the late 1990s, the head priest of Chiba Shrine in Kyoto had two daughters. The elder daughter, Himeno Seiyuki, married into the Himeno family, while the younger daughter married into the Inoue family.

Therefore, Keiko Inoue and Karen Chiba knew each other since childhood.

A group of women with a literary flair sat around a table, holding hot tea, chatting about their works and their reading experiences.

"Konna, Keiko, do you both have ideas for writing romance novels?"

"Yes."

The two said in unison.

"In that case, I'd like to recommend a book to you, a very popular romance novel recently, you can take a look."

My friend took a blue-covered romance novel out of his bag.

"What kind of story is this?"

Chiba asked curiously.

"This was written by a Kyoto author. The protagonists fell in love in high school, and later the woman went abroad to study."

"The male and female protagonists broke up because of their long-distance relationship, and during this time, the male protagonist was constantly pursued by the female protagonist's best friend."

Just as the male lead was about to be moved by the female supporting character, the female lead graduated and returned to China. The two went through various trials and tribulations, and finally got together.

To her surprise, Chiba Karen and Inoue Keiko were both frozen in place.

Keiko Inoue took a sip of tea, composed herself, and began to explain her thoughts.

"I want to write a story about an adult female landlady and a younger man. The man went to Tokyo for high school and was taken care of by the landlady."

"After graduating from high school, the boy broke up with his ex-girlfriend, and his landlady helped him get over the heartbreak. The two became friends but not quite lovers."

Years later, the boy's ex-girlfriend returned to China. She had leukemia and wanted to get back together with the boy before she died. Faced with his first love and his second love, the boy ultimately chose his landlady.

Chiba Karen cleared her throat and spoke.
