Coral Pavilion, Miami, within the University of Miami campus.

Irving held up his phone, looking at the navigation, and kept searching.

There are two universities in Miami. One is a public university, not in Florida, but in Oxford, Ohio, in the central United States.

The other is a private institution, Coral Pavilion, located in Miami, which was founded by a group of wealthy citizens.

At first, Irving almost made a mistake, thinking that the big black man James was playing a trick on him.

But after making the call, he realized he had made a mistake.

Contrary to Irving's expectations, the University of Miami has many gates that can be freely entered and exited, making it an open university.

Following the address given by James, Irving arrived at the medical school building without much trouble.

Along the way, many students passed by, and feeling the strange looks from those around him, Owen realized that he seemed to be looking rather sloppy.

However, he didn't care about it.

Anyway, his purpose in coming here was to get the contact information of Professor Smith, the new professor at the medical school.

Irving already had a plan in mind.

Just as Irving was envisioning how to spend the $500 he was about to receive.

Suddenly a girl walked towards him and bumped straight into his arms.

"Hey, don't you have eyes? Don't you know how to watch where you're going?" Feeling the pain in his forehead, Owen subconsciously took a step back and said, rubbing his forehead.

"Sorry, I'm really sorry, I was looking at my phone screen just now."

The girl sized up Irving, noticing that he was wearing a ripped T-shirt, his jeans were filthy, and his hair was tangled from not washing it in a long time. He looked like someone not to be trifled with, so she quickly apologized.

As he was about to complain, Irving's anger subsided by a third when he smelled the enticing aroma.

Opening his eyes, Owen saw a beautiful woman dressed in revealing clothes, with a cute appearance and flowing long hair. He coughed lightly.

Seeing the other person repeatedly bowing and apologizing, Irving quickly waved his hand and said, "Never mind, just be more careful next time."

"Phew, thank you for your understanding and generosity." The girl immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

She was about to leave when she saw Owen holding his student ID and stopping at the turnstile leading to the second floor. She immediately tilted her head, looking puzzled.

After a moment's thought, she slowly walked up to Owen and said softly, "Excuse me, would you like to go to the second floor?"

Irving nodded and pointed to the turnstile: "I need to speak with Professor Smith about something, but this turnstile seems to be malfunctioning..."

"This turnstile is for teachers. Students need to take the elevator to the second floor," the girl pointed to the elevator on the left side of the lobby on the first floor and reminded them.

"I see, thank you so much." Owen's lips twitched, and his face showed a slight embarrassment.

I never expected that the row of turnstiles that I saw as soon as I entered the building would be the teachers' passage.

No wonder he couldn't get it right no matter how he tried.

"It's okay, I felt the same way the first time I came to medical school." Sensing Irving's slight embarrassment, the girl extended her hand and introduced herself.

"Hello, my name is Tina, I'm Mexican, and you are?"

"My name is Owen." Owen didn't intend to tell the girl his fake name, because it would feel strange.

Realizing that Owen wasn't as bad as he looked, Tina enthusiastically led the way for him.

Unlike the standard blonde beauties Irving had seen before, Tina in front of him had delicate and three-dimensional features, a typical Latina beauty.

Although her figure isn't exactly hot, her eyes and eyebrows are captivating, and her smile with her two apple cheeks is quite pleasing. Her wheat-colored skin is also very alluring.

After chatting for a bit, Irving realized that he was incredibly lucky.

The mentor Tina was working with was none other than Professor Smith from the medical school he was looking for.

"Professor Smith was out this morning, but I just contacted him and he should be back in about half an hour..."

As they spoke, the two arrived at Professor Smith's office.

Seeing the sign at the entrance that read "Dr. Dawn Smith," Owen breathed a long sigh of relief and looked at Tina to express his gratitude:

"Tina, thank you so much. Without you, I might have missed meeting Professor Smith today."

"You're welcome. Consider this my apology for bumping into you," Tina said with a slight smile.

Seeing Owen quietly put his student ID away, Tina asked curiously, "Owen, where are you from? Are you also a medical student?"

"You can guess," Owen smiled, without answering directly.

"Let me think..."

Tina sized Owen up and down. Although he was disheveled and looked like a homeless man, he was still very strong and handsome. Tina's eyes lit up, and she immediately said, "I understand!"

"You're so tall, you're definitely not from Japan. You're so strong and masculine, you're probably not Korean either. So you must be from that mysterious Eastern country with thousands of years of history, right?"

"You're practically a detective," Owen said, spreading his hands in admiration.

"You're quite the smooth talker," Tina chuckled, but after a moment she looked puzzled. "But why are you all dirty? Did you run into some trouble?"

Irving nodded, sighed, and said helplessly, "I've run into some trouble, and now I'm homeless and in a bit of trouble... I came to Professor Smith today to ask him for a favor..."

Hearing Owen's slightly choked voice, Tina quickly said, "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, but I meant no harm."

Seeing Owen lower his head and stop talking, Tina thought for a while, then took off her backpack and started rummaging through it.

After searching for quite a while, Tina finally pulled out a ballpoint pen and a sticky notepad from her backpack.

After writing down a number and address on the sticky note, Tina tore it off and handed it to Owen.

"Here is my contact information and the address of a bookstore where I used to work. If you need, you can add me as a friend on social media."

The bookstore owner is really nice. If you have some free time, you could try working there. I would recommend it to you.

I'll let you know if any good part-time jobs come up later. Studying at university in America will inevitably bring all sorts of difficulties. Keep going, temporary difficulties are nothing to worry about.

Hearing the encouraging words from the other person, Irving was momentarily moved.

He never expected that this Mexican girl would be so kind-hearted.

"Thank you so much, Tina. I'll do my best." Owen took the sticky note and nodded emphatically.

"We'll keep in touch later." Tina glanced at her watch and exclaimed, "Oh no, it's almost 11 o'clock! I'm going to be late for class! I have to go!"
