A few minutes later, the two left with a full stack of US dollars plus four $1000 cash checks, all smiles.

The restaurant owner, his face as black as a pig's liver, was left squatting on the ground, covering his nose while furiously cursing "F**K."

"Irving, thank you so much, you've been a huge help to me today."

Tina beamed as she looked at the cash check in her hand.

She originally just wanted to get back her salary for the week, but unexpectedly, with Irving's help, she received an additional four thousand dollars in compensation.

Keep in mind that she works two jobs a week, and that $4,000 would be enough for her to work hard for four or five weeks.

With this sum of money, she could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

Thinking of this, Tina turned around, hugged Owen, kissed him hard on the cheek, and handed him a $1000 check.

"Irving, you're like a knight sent by God to save me. Don't refuse, this is the reward you deserve."

"Can I refuse?" Irving shrugged.

Seeing Tina shake her head seriously, Owen had no choice but to accept the $1000 cash check.

There was no way to refuse such hospitality.

"By the way, honey, what are you doing at the restaurant where I work today?"

Tina reached out and took Owen's arm, asking coquettishly, "You didn't forget me, did you? You came all this way just to find me?"

"Of course...no." Owen gently patted Tina's head and said truthfully:

"I just found a job and was busy all night. I was just thinking of randomly picking a Mexican restaurant to eat at, but who knew this would happen?"

Seeing Tina pout slightly, looking a little unhappy, Owen immediately reached down and teased, "What's wrong? Missed me after a few days?"

"Would you like me to make you some noodles tonight?"

"certainly!"

Tina, still immersed in excitement, didn't refuse. Instead, she stared directly into Owen's eyes and slowly said:

"Darling, you've helped me so much, I'll definitely make sure you're satisfied tonight."

"However, I have some work to do in a little while. Why don't you go to my place and wait for me, okay, honey?"

"Then you'd better hurry up," Irving shrugged and joked.

"After all, I'm usually very busy. There are a lot of lost girls in Miami waiting for me to rescue them..."

"Oh no, it seems I'll have to prepare more variety tonight."

Tina shrugged, making a joke on purpose.

Upon seeing the bus arrive, Tina immediately ran to catch it.

After boarding the bus, she leaned out of the window and waved to Owen: "See you tonight, darling!"

See you tonight!

Owen waved casually and left, watching Tina see him off.

He originally intended to find another Mexican restaurant to eat at.

After walking through four or five blocks, he still couldn't find a decent Mexican restaurant.

Having no other option, Irving resorted to his old trick: he pulled out his phone, opened Google Maps, and searched for highly-rated restaurants nearby.

Sure enough, as soon as he started searching, he found a Mexican restaurant that looked pretty good less than 100 meters away.

Following the navigation, Irving accurately located the Mexican restaurant on the street corner.

But as soon as he arrived at the restaurant, he saw several drunkards smoking opium and drinking heavily on the street in front of the restaurant.

As expected, these people will probably become "Gundams" soon, and their bodies will be recovered.

Irving shook his head and deliberately walked around these people into the restaurant.

As soon as he entered, Irving smelled a heavy odor of tobacco and alcohol permeating the air.

Several white-bearded old drunkards sat in a corner of the restaurant, drinking and laughing as they chatted.

These people were speaking Spanish, and Irving couldn't understand a word they were saying, but he didn't seem to care.

Upon seeing a guest arrive, a waitress quickly stepped forward and led Owen to a seat near the window.

"Sir, this is our menu. What would you like to order?"

Irving glanced at the menu, and sure enough, it was full of classic Mexican dishes.

Besides tacos, there were also bean soup, corn tamales, stewed beef, tripe soup, fried tortillas, and more, making Irving's mouth water.

Feeling the hunger rising in his stomach, Irving immediately waved his hand and ordered all the signature dishes.

When the waitress saw that Irving had ordered so much food, she realized he must have been starving, and immediately looked him up and down.

Seeing that the other person was well-dressed and didn't seem unable to pay, she immediately smiled and said in a high-pitched voice:

"Sir, would you like any other drinks? Or perhaps beer? We have stout, wheat beer, and single malt beer, priced between $1 and $3 a glass. For spirits, we have brandy, whiskey, vodka, and more. What would you like to drink?"

"A glass of ice water, please." Owen smiled.

The waitress nodded, wrote the order in the book, and then left.

Before long, one dish after another was served.

Irving eagerly picked up a burrito, put it directly into his mouth, closed his eyes, and began to enjoy it.

Thinking about it carefully, he had been here for several weeks, and during that time he hadn't eaten a proper meal except for hamburgers and pizzas.

Except for the Chinese meal I had at Tina's house.

Now that he had the chance to enjoy a meal undisturbed, Irving felt incredibly satisfied.

After finishing a plate of burritos, Irving couldn't wait to sample the stewed beef, corn tacos, and tripe soup on the table...

After eating and drinking his fill, Irving leaned back in his chair, patted his bulging belly, and called the waiter to settle the bill.

"Sir, how do you like the food?" The waitress smiled and beamed when she saw that Irving had generously given her a $20 tip.

"These dishes are absolutely fantastic. Honestly, this is the best meal I've had since I came to Miami," Irving exclaimed in surprise.

"Thank you for your compliment, sir. Please feel free to come again if you like."

The waitress seemed to be used to Irving's praise and smiled gently.

Their restaurant's chef is a Mexican chef with over ten years of experience. I can't comment on other aspects, but when it comes to the taste of Mexican food, it's definitely one of the best in Miami.

Seeing the waitress's slightly proud smile, Owen smiled back, paid the bill, and stood up to leave.

As soon as Irving opened the door and left the restaurant, the other female waitresses immediately surrounded him.

"Mary, how much tip did that handsome Asian man give you?"

"20 US dollars! Damn it, if I had known he was so rich, I should have used my charm." The waitress sighed.
