The bathroom door opened gently, and a misty steam carrying the scent of shower gel wafted out.

Liu Haocun walked out wrapped in a bathrobe, his hair wet and draped over his shoulders, his cheeks flushed a faint pink from the steam.

She looked up at Li Ran by the bedside and said in a low voice, "You should go take a shower too, you smell of alcohol."

Li Ran smiled, stood up from the bedside, and as he walked past her, he casually ruffled her wet hair before going into the bathroom.

The sound of water could be heard.

Liu Haocun stood there, touching the spot where he had rubbed, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously curved into a smile.

She walked to the dressing table, picked up the hairdryer and started drying her hair. Looking at her face in the mirror, she noticed it was still a little red.

I don't know if it was the heat or the thought of what was about to happen.

Not long after, the bathroom door opened.

Liu Haocun subconsciously turned around, then froze.

Li Ran was only wearing a bath towel, his lean but powerful upper body completely exposed to the air.

Water droplets still clung to his shoulders, neck, and chest, sliding down along the lines of his muscles.

Her gaze involuntarily followed the drop of water downwards, then she suddenly realized what was happening and reached out to cover her eyes.

"Why aren't you wearing...clothes!"

Her voice came through her fingers, which were spread wide apart, and her doe-like eyes peered out from between them.

Li Ran walked over as if it were the most natural thing in the world: "This is your room, there are no clean clothes for me here."

Liu Hao lowered his hand, his face flushed, unsure where to look: "Then...then I'll go to your room and get it for you."

She was about to get up when Li Ran blocked her way.

He stood in front of her, looking down at her with a smile on his lips: "Before we go, could you do me a favor?"

Liu Haocun's heart skipped a beat; he knew what was about to happen.

She looked up at him, her doe eyes filled with a mixture of wariness, expectation, and feigned innocence: "Help...help with what?"

Li Ran leaned down and whispered in her ear, "You've activated my Supreme Bone, don't you think?"

As the breath brushed against his earlobe, Liu Haocun's earlobes instantly turned bright red.

She instinctively shrank back, muttering softly, "Didn't we agree... you'd handle it yourself? I haven't..."

Her voice grew softer and softer as she spoke, and the last few words were almost inaudible.

Looking at her expression, Li Ran couldn't help but laugh: "I tried it out last night, why are you scared now?"

Provoked by these words, Liu Haocun immediately stiffened his neck, forcing a smile: "Who said I was scared?"

She stood up, looked up at him, and tried to make her gaze appear confident: "Come on then, if you're scared, you're a little dog!"

Looking at her face, which was clearly shy but stubbornly trying to appear strong, Li Ran reached out and pulled her into his arms.

Liu Haocun's face was pressed against his chest, and he could feel the steady and powerful heartbeat in his chest.

"Cunzi." He lowered his head and buried his face in her damp hair. "You smell so good."

His voice was muffled, with a slight nasal tone: "You smell like milk."

Liu Hao nestled in his arms and mumbled softly, "That...it smells like shower gel."

Li Ran smiled and tightened his arms around her.

……

In the afternoon, Liu Haocun peeked out from under the covers, groggily opened his eyes, and saw Li Ran leaning against the headboard looking at his phone.

"Awake?" He looked down at her.

Liu Haocun blinked, his memories slowly returning.

Her face flushed instantly, and she pulled the blanket up to cover half of her face, leaving only her eyes visible as she looked at him.

Looking at her expression, Li Ran couldn't help but laugh: "Are you hungry? I ordered takeout, it should be here soon."

Liu Hao shook his head from under the covers.

After a while, she peeked out again and asked in a low voice, "When...when did you call your assistant?"

"Morning."

Li Ran said, "I've postponed my hotel stay until tomorrow, and I've also rescheduled my flight."

Liu Haocun paused for a moment, then said "Oh," and buried his face in the blanket again.

After the two finished their takeout, the takeout boxes were casually piled on the coffee table.

Liu Haocun suddenly moved.

She got up, walked over to him, and wrapped her arms around his neck.
