A buzz of discussion arose in the military camp, with everyone staring at the tablet computer in Lin Chen's hand with gleaming eyes.

Lin Chen didn't explain further, and directly handed the tablet to Commander Shen: "Commander Shen, the instructional videos and 3D demonstration program for this technique are all in here. Get everyone practicing it as soon as possible. If you don't understand anything, you can ask my people anytime."

Commander Shen accepted the tablet with both hands, as if receiving a heavy burden of hope.

He took a deep breath and gave another firm salute: "Comrade Lin Chen, this...this salute, on behalf of the soldiers of Northeast China, thank you!"

The other officers behind him immediately saluted Lin Chen.

Lin Chen accepted the bow without hesitation, then said solemnly, "Commander Shen, you are too kind. This apocalypse is no longer something that an individual can fight alone. Only when everyone takes action can our China have any hope of surviving this apocalypse."

Commander Shen nodded vigorously, turned around and ordered, "Everyone! Run forward to the conference hall to watch the instructional video on the martial arts technique and learn it!"

"Yes!" the soldiers responded in unison and sprang into action.

Commander Shen looked at Lin Chen's team and said with a hint of apology, "Comrade Lin, I'm afraid this will take up a little of your time."

Lin Chen waved his hand and smiled slightly: "This is nothing. Once everyone learns the technique and their strength is enhanced, their subsequent actions will be more efficient. It's like sharpening your axe before chopping wood."

Commander Shen laughed heartily and turned to an officer beside him, saying, "Alright! Staff Officer Xu, you go and take charge of the order at the meeting. I'll entertain Comrade Lin and the others."

"Yes, Commander." Staff Officer Xu then followed the soldiers into an auditorium.

Commander Shen then turned to the side and made an inviting gesture, leading Lin Chen and the others into a pre-prepared underground fortification.

This is a military fortification built before the apocalypse. It is hidden deep underground, with a sturdy structure and complete supporting facilities.

Lin Chen and his group basically moved in with just their bags, which saved them a lot of trouble.

After settling them in, Commander Shen hurried to the conference room to oversee the instruction of the exercises.

"Honey, are we going to stay here for a while?" Jiang Yingyue asked, looking up at Lin Chen as she took his arm.

Lin Chen nodded: "The Northeast is a large area with dense forests, making it more difficult to clear than the plains. I estimate we'll have to stay there for a while."

Liang Siqi walked over and gently patted Jiang Yingyue's head: "Since we're here, let's make the best of it. As long as we can get the crystal cores, it doesn't matter where we are."

Jiang Yingyue nodded obediently.

And so, Lin Chen's team settled down in Northeast China.

In the afternoon, Lin Chen and Commander Shen sat down together again to discuss the next day's march route while looking at the map.

When Lin Chen entered the conference room, it was already full of people.

Commander Shen stood up and invited him to sit down at the head of the table before instructing, "Let's begin, Staff Officer Xu."

Staff Officer Xu saluted and pointed to the map projection on the wall, saying:

"Commander, Comrade Lin, based on the assessment of the General Staff, we recommend that the focus of the cleanup be placed on the human zombie horde, with priority given to rescuing the surviving compatriots."

"Based on the population distribution before the apocalypse, we plan to start from Shencheng, and proceed in sequence to Tiecheng, Pingcheng, Jicheng, and then Bincheng, clearing out the area northeastward until we reach the border with Damao. We will use this as the main axis, while also taking into account the eastern Inner Mongolia region."

"At the same time, small teams were dispatched along the route to search for survivors in surrounding villages and towns with large populations."

Commander Shen nodded: "What about the peninsula?"

"The peninsula's military has organized itself and is preparing to launch a general offensive against the zombies in the city. However, they also hope to receive support from high-end combat forces. After that, their plan is to take the southern route and advance towards Dan City."

Lin Chen nodded: "Okay, I'll support them with 500 S-level team members."

Staff Officer Xu nodded gratefully and continued to explain the details of the cooperation between the two teams, as well as the areas that needed special attention.

Especially in areas with a high concentration of zombies, particularly in forested areas.

The team needs to provide support from ferocious zombies such as Siberian tigers, Amur leopards, wild boar packs, and wolf packs.

The meeting continued until evening.

Lin Chen returned to the temporary residence, called Liang Siqi and the others over, and recounted the contents of the meeting.

When Jiang Yingyue heard "Siberian tiger" and "Amur leopard," her eyes lit up immediately: "Honey, if you ever come across a live Siberian tiger or Amur leopard, be sure to catch a few for me! The little monkey is too unimpressive. If we could raise a big cat, it would definitely be more majestic than Yuanzai!"

She patted the little monkey perched on her shoulder with a look of disdain.

Lin Chen was speechless. This girl's thought process was always on a different wavelength from everyone else's.

As soon as Jiang Yingyue said this, the room fell silent for a moment.

Liang Siqi and Wu Jie couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Jiang Yingxue lightly pinched her younger sister's waist and whispered, "You brat, don't make things worse!"

Jiang Yingyue rubbed her waist, looking aggrieved, and muttered, "I just thought Yuanzai was too cute, he doesn't look like a wild beast at all..."

Yuanzai, who was dozing by the door, suddenly raised its head, gave Jiang Yingyue a resentful look, then heavily put its head back on its paws and let out a long, dissatisfied snort.

Lin Chen rubbed his temples and sighed, "Let's wait until I encounter one. We don't even know if we'll ever meet one that hasn't turned into a zombie."

"Honey, you must keep this in mind," Jiang Yingyue said in a sweet, coquettish voice.

Lin Chen rubbed her head: "Okay, okay. If I come across one, I'll definitely catch one for you."

Jiang Yingyue's eyes lit up instantly. She rushed over, hugged Lin Chen's neck, and planted a kiss on his cheek: "My husband is the best!"

Liang Siqi smiled and shook her head, then looked at Lin Chen: "Have you chosen a leader for the trip to the peninsula?"

Lin Chen crossed his arms and, after a moment of silence, asked in a low voice, "What did you think of Liu Jing today?"

Liang Siqi thought for a moment and asked Xiaoyu to pull up Liu Jing's information: "It should work. She used to be Lu Heng's person. She has always been diligent and hardworking, and her behavior is usually quite steady."

Lin Chen nodded: "Then let's go with her. Siqi, go and call her over."

Liang Siqi nodded and quickly called Liu Jing over.

Liu Jing walked in; she had short hair, bright eyes, and her back was still ramrod straight.

Lin Chen was very satisfied with her performance and ordered, "Liu Jing, tomorrow you will take five hundred men to the peninsula to support the military."

"The military over there has already organized a general offensive, but they lack high-end combat capabilities. Once you get there, assist them in clearing the zombies from the peninsula to Dan City, while also keeping an eye on the survivors along the coast. If you encounter any problems you can't solve, contact me immediately."

A hint of surprise flashed in Liu Jing's eyes, and she replied crisply, "Yes, Brother Lin."

Lin Chen gave a few more instructions, which Liu Jing noted down. Then, Liang Siqi accompanied her to select team members.
