It seems that Brother Qiang's status in the Fierce Tiger Gang is indeed quite high.

With him leading the way, Lin Chen and Yuanzai had a smooth journey.

Sentries would occasionally pop out from the corners along the way, but they were all dealt with by Brother Qiang with a few words.

Before long, the two people and the bear entered an underground space.

The ceiling was covered with a dense network of pipes, some thick and some thin, crisscrossing and covered in rust.

This was likely an underground pipeline facility from before the apocalypse, which has been converted into an underground shelter.

Suddenly there were many more people.

The place was originally dark, and it was only lit by fires of all sizes scattered around, the firelight illuminating numb faces.

Some people were dozing off, some were staring blankly at the flames, and some were talking in hushed tones.

When they saw Brother Qiang come down with a stranger and a giant panda, they were all stunned and their eyes turned to follow him.

Lin Chen remained expressionless, and Yuanzai didn't react much either, only twitching his nose as if he were smelling something.

Just as I stepped down from the passage, a burly man stood up beside a bonfire not far away.

He was even bigger than Qiang Ge, with a face full of fat and a hostile look in his eyes.

He walked towards Brother Qiang and Lin Chen, followed by seven or eight henchmen.

He stared at Qiang Ge for a couple of seconds, then looked at Lin Chen and Yuanzai, raising an eyebrow.

"Gou Qiang?" His voice was as rough as a quack duck's. "Wasn't your team supposed to be out searching for supplies today? Why are you back so soon?"

Qiang Ge paused, a hint of unease flashing across his face.

"Wang Kun, this is none of your business," he replied curtly. "A distinguished guest wants to see Brother Tiger."

"Distinguished guest?"

Wang Kun grinned, but there was no kindness in that smile.

He stepped out from the fire, blocked the road, and looked Lin Chen up and down with a provocative expression.

"What distinguished guest? Let me see."

He completely disregarded Brother Qiang's attitude.

"Wang Kun, don't be stupid."

Gou Qiang's expression changed, and his voice was filled with exasperation, "Get out of the way!"

Wang Kun not only didn't give way, but instead stepped forward and grinned.

"Hey? Gou Qiang, haven't you gotten a beating lately? Getting itchy?"

He crossed his arms and looked down at Gou Qiang, "Dare to speak to me like that?"

Wang Kun's henchmen also burst into laughter.

Gou Qiang clenched his teeth, and the muscles in his cheeks bulged.

"I'm doing this for your own good!"

"Hey—" Lin Chen drawled, his gaze fixed on Wang Kun, his eyes full of amusement, "A good dog doesn't block the way, huh?"

Wang Kun's face instantly turned red: "You bastard, you motherfucker...?!"

Before the words were finished—

"Bang."

A muffled thud.

Wang Kun was struck by a tremendous force and flew sideways, crashing straight into the wall beside him.

It's that familiar taste again.

It's that familiar pose again.

Wang Kun stuck to the wall, embedding himself completely, and spiderweb-like cracks spread outwards from the wall.

His eyes rolled back, blood spilled from his mouth, his head lolled to the side, and he fell silent.

At the base of the wall, several bonfires were shaken, sending sparks flying everywhere.

The entire room fell silent.

The smiles on the faces of Wang Kun's henchmen froze. They remained in the same position, their mouths agape, their eyes practically bulging out of their sockets.

They didn't even see what happened.

All I saw was the boss flying away.

Stick it on the wall.

There are more ills than good luck.

They wanted to go forward to help, but their feet felt like they were welded to the ground—their backers were all gone, so they might as well just go to sleep!

Gou Qiang was also stunned. His Adam's apple bobbed, and he subconsciously turned his head to look at Lin Chen.

Lin Chen withdrew his hand, patted off non-existent dust from his sleeve, and said calmly, as if he had just swatted a mosquito: "Lead the way."

Gou Qiang nodded vigorously, like a chicken pecking at rice, and dared not look at Wang Kun again, continuing to walk forward with his back bent.

Wang Kun's henchmen all took a step back, making way for him.

No one dared to speak.

No one dared to make a move.

Only after the man and the bear disappeared at the end of the passage did someone react and rush towards the figure on the wall, whose fate was unknown.

After passing through layers of guards, the two finally arrived at the deepest part of the shelter.

The roar of a generator could be heard from ahead.

A renovated room came into view, its brightly lit entrance contrasting sharply with the darkness outside.

Four burly men stood guard by the door, their eyes wary.

The room's sound insulation is average.

Faint sounds could be heard coming from inside—a man's loud laughter, a woman's giggles, and the clinking of glasses.

Gou Qiang quickened his pace, almost rushing forward.

"Quick! Go and inform Brother Tiger!" he shouted to the four guards, his voice trembling. "We have distinguished guests!"

The four guards naturally recognized Gou Qiang—one of Tiger Lord's right-hand men.

But at this moment, they looked troubled, glanced at each other, and neither of them moved.

The leader swallowed hard and lowered his voice:

"Brother Qiang... Tiger is having fun."

As he said this, his gaze unconsciously glanced at Lin Chen, then fell on the lazy giant panda behind him, his eyes full of surprise and doubt.

Gou Qiang's expression changed.

Of course he knew what "fun" meant.

But he knew even better who was standing behind him.

He gritted his teeth, about to speak again—

Don't waste your time.

Lin Chen placed his hand on Gou Qiang's shoulder. His voice was soft, but it made Gou Qiang shudder.

"After this meeting, I have to go to the next place."

Gou Qiang dared not hesitate any longer.

What's Tiger's ban compared to this? The one behind him is the real killer!

He gritted his teeth, lifted his leg, and rushed inside.

"stop!"

The four guards' expressions changed, and they simultaneously raised their hands to block their path—

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Four muffled thuds sounded almost simultaneously.

Four figures flew out in four different directions.

One of them smashed into the wall and got embedded in it.

One person crashed into the pipe and was left hanging in mid-air.

One flew into the darkness, followed by a series of crashing sounds.

The last one—it crashed directly into a huge metal tank next to it.

"Bang—!!!"

A deafening roar exploded in the enclosed space, the echo reverberating and making one's eardrums vibrate.

A large, human-shaped dent was left in the tank, and the guard slid to the ground and remained motionless.

The laughter in the room abruptly stopped.

"What's going on?!"

A rough male voice came from inside the door, followed by a woman's exclamation, the clatter of a cup falling to the ground, and hurried footsteps.

A few seconds later, the door was suddenly pulled open.

A bald, burly man rushed out, his clothes clearly hastily put on, the collar still open, revealing a tattoo.

Behind him, several disheveled women huddled in a corner, looking panicked.

The first thing the big man saw was Gou Qiang, who was trembling all over, then he saw the guards stationed in various places, and finally—his gaze fell on Lin Chen.

And there's that adorable giant panda next to him.

"Who the hell are you?!"

Hu San glared, his roar echoing throughout the space.
