Hogg roared from below, his eyes wide open, flashing in the firelight as if they were about to bleed, his teeth grinding together.

But Hilo remained calm as it hovered in the air, occasionally dropping a ball of hot oil with flames.

Who is the Red Dragon?

Hilo didn't know.

He had initially feared that the gnolls would scatter and hide, then raid his base while he was away. Now, however, they were gathered around the gnoll leader.

He didn't need to chase them down one by one; a single Burning Hand combined with Grease was enough to cover several gnolls.

Hogg saw his people wailing in the fire and once again used provocation.

"You cowardly red dragon cub, do you dare come down and fight me one-on-one? Where is your dragon race's pride? How can you be as cowardly as a white dragon?"

However, Hilo only glanced at him and saw through his thoughts in an instant. Even a red dragon with its intelligence might have seen through this provocation, but the red dragon was the type to know it was a trap but still jump in anyway.

The only one who might be fooled by such a low-level provocation is perhaps Bai Long.

Within minutes, amidst Hogg's meaningless roars and howls, the already small number of gnolls were burned alive.

Anyone who tried to escape was immediately targeted by Hilo, given special care, and cremated even faster.

These elderly, weak, sick, and disabled people had absolutely no power to resist.

In the end, only the sound of burning flames and Hogg's desperate roar remained in the entire camp.

He didn't understand why the red dragon in the sky wouldn't fall for his provocation and wouldn't even give him a chance to retaliate.

He could only watch helplessly as his people perished in the flames, yet he managed to move around with incredible agility.

Avoid the burning flames and the scalding hot oil.

Only now has he sadly realized that he can't protect anything.

The last gnoll was roasted into a dried corpse, burning silently in the flames.

Hogg swung his sword at the dragon shadow in the air. It seemed like a futile swing, but a beam of sword light emerged from the iron sword and flew towards Hilo.

This startled Hilo; his previously steady flight was disrupted by a tremor in his wings, almost causing him to lose his balance.

But then it dawned on me: how could a gnoll swordsman of this size possibly appear in a gnoll camp? Only a high-level professional like him could unleash sword energy.

This gnoll leader probably hasn't even reached the basics of a profession.

Not to mention the Sword Saint who can change to a higher-level class several times.

It's the sword that's the problem. Hilo had already sensed the fluctuations of magic in that sword.

That sword was also a magical item, most likely a trophy from defeating the gnoll leader.

The sword light flying in the air wasn't very fast, and it was quite far away. Hilo used an aerial somersault to avoid the sword light.

Hogg had originally planned to drag Hilo into a ground battle, fight until both sides were exhausted, and then use the magic on his sword to catch the fledgling off guard and decide the outcome in one fell swoop.

But to everyone's surprise, the red dragon was like a deaf man, completely ignoring him and acting as a calm killing machine.

In desperation, he unleashed a sword strike, hoping to knock Hilo down, but it clearly failed.

Hilo breathed a sigh of relief, finally forcing out this trump card. He thought the gnoll leader would just wait until he died.

Slowly descending from the sky, in front of Hogg, all around were burning houses and burning corpses.

"Take another look at what kind of dragon I am?" Hilo said in the common language of the continent.

Hogg knew the moment Hero descended from the shadows why the dragon in front of him wasn't falling for his provocation.

This is a silver dragon, known for its calmness. Tens of thousands of years ago, silver dragons were friendly and even talkable.

However, in the current situation, especially in the dungeon, the Silver Dragon is a calm and precise killing machine.

They are even more difficult to deal with than those disorganized and undisciplined five-colored dragons. Although they have less combat experience than the five-colored dragons, the metal dragons have a more meticulous way of thinking.

But why are there silver dragons in the dungeon?!

Isn't that wrong? The vast majority of silver dragons are currently in the dragon race's territory, in their own special dragon domain.

Hogg was already at the peak of his abilities in this level of dungeon, and it was really hard to handle a silver dragon suddenly appearing out of nowhere. It wasn't like the five-colored dragons that were prone to dropping their eggs.

Moreover, in this era, many of the five-colored dragon eggs were collected by the Metal Dragon Domain for cultivation, and there were special dragon academies to take care of those parentless five-colored dragons.

Metal dragons whose parents died on the battlefield will also be raised in a unified manner at the Dragon Academy.

In theory, dungeons shouldn't spawn true dragons. Hogg was just a nobody on the outskirts of the Gnoll Empire. In the face of the hurricane catastrophe, a spatial fluctuation swept his entire clan into the fray.

Such incidents occur frequently throughout the mainland, with most intelligent beings falling into underground cities by accident.

However, no dragon has ever appeared in any of the dungeons.

Hogg realized that the dragon in front of him was a silver dragon, and then he heard the silver dragon say again, "Didn't you ask me to come down and fight? Now I'm down, come on."

Hogg gritted his teeth, his facial muscles tense, thinking, "That damned metal dragon, it must have been waiting for the magic on the iron sword to cool down before it came down!"

But at this point, he had no other choice. If he had known beforehand that it was a silver dragon in the sky, he would have already told the other gnolls to scatter and flee.

If the dragon in the sky is a red dragon hatchling, and he can lure it down, kill it, devour it, and bathe in its blood, he might have a chance to break through the dungeon's restrictions and perhaps leave this dark and sunless cave.

A single wrong thought can lead to utter ruin.

Before the gnoll could regret his actions, Hilo immediately unleashed a flurry of attacks.

Hogger himself had been burned inside the tent, and his entire body was blackened.

This is adding fuel to the fire, scalding his skin until it cracks.

But Hogg seemed to have lost the ability to feel pain, ignoring the flames on his body as he charged toward Hero.

Standing at nearly 2.5 meters tall, he looks quite imposing; one Hogger could probably take on three dire bears, with his bulging muscles.

The sword slashed towards Hilo's neck without any particular technique, relying solely on its powerful force.

Hilo wanted to finish the battle quickly, as the stone chamber couldn't remain unguarded by a dragon for too long.

Without dodging or evading, he activated his magic shield, preparing to withstand Hogg's slash head-on.

He opened his mouth and unleashed a chilling breath at Hogger.

A ruthless glint flashed in Hogg's eyes, and wisps of lightning crackled around the iron sword.

An iron sword with two magic loops, and a rare quality weapon at that.

Despite enduring the icy breath, he swung his iron sword fiercely toward Hilo's neck. The magic shield only held the sword in place for a moment before piercing through it.

Hogg was overjoyed, thinking that he was still the better one. His people fell one by one in front of him, swinging their swords in vain, and their desperate roars were all for this moment.

Even the explanation given by the opposing red dragon was intended to lower Hilo's guard. Dragons are proud, and therefore they are prone to making mistakes.

Although he initially thought the dragon in the air was a red dragon, the cave was very dark, and the dragon shadow was indeed the shadow of a red dragon.

However, he had previously been to gnoll towns and seen wanted posters and analyses of red dragons, silver dragons, and other dragons on the bulletin boards.

The shadows of the red dragon and the silver dragon in the air are different.
