Hogwarts: My Grandmother is the Queen
Chapter 113 Avada Kedavra!
Chapter 114 Avada Kedavra! (Fifth update, please continue reading!)
A red light surged from Quirrell's body, as if something had torn apart from the depths of his body, breaking free from the constraints of his skin.
Quirrell stood stiffly, but his face was contorted.
That kind of distortion wasn't pain, but replacement, like one mask being covered by another, the original expression being forcibly squeezed out and replaced with a brand new version of the face that sent chills down your spine.
That face wasn't Quirrell's face; it had no nose and a grotesque appearance.
Its eyes also turned blood red, with vertical pupils, like a snake.
It was Voldemort. With a casual wave of his hand, the unicorn was sent flying, lying helplessly on the ground, emitting mournful cries.
He looked at Henry, a cold and cruel smile slowly creeping onto his lips.
"Interesting." He spoke, his voice low and hoarse, like sandpaper rubbing against stone, or a snake slithering through the grass. "A unicorn controlled by an Imperius Curse, yet it managed to break free. What did you do?"
Henry stood still, his hands hanging at his sides, his wand still in his pocket.
He knew that if he made any move now, Voldemort would attack immediately.
"It did nothing," he said. "It might have been its own will."
He was surprised to find that he was actually quite calm when facing Voldemort in person.
Voldemort looked at him, a hint of amusement flashing in his eyes.
"Their own will?" He chuckled softly, a laugh that sent chills down one's spine. "Unicorns are indeed pure creatures, but purity does not equate to strength. The Imperius Curse should be unbreakable for them."
He paused for a moment, staring at Henry, the light slithering across Henry's body like a snake.
"unless----"
"Unless someone gives it power."
Henry felt a slight unease, but his face remained expressionless.
"You think it's me?"
"What do you think?" Voldemort laughed.
He didn't wait for Henry's reply, but slowly raised his wand.
The unicorn was still lying on the ground, struggling to stand up, but its injuries were too severe, and it could only let out a weak hiss.
Voldemort aimed his wand at it.
"No matter what, this beast is useless now," he said. "Keeping you around will only cause trouble."
His lips parted slightly as he uttered the terrible incantation, "Avada—"
In that instant, Henry moved.
He pulled his wand from his pocket and aimed it at Voldemort.
"Epelliarmus (Destroy your weapon)!"
A beam of red light shot from the tip of Henry's wand, heading straight for Voldemort.
Although he didn't want to provoke Voldemort, since he had already provoked him, he wasn't afraid of trouble, since Voldemort was counting on him to help steal the Philosopher's Stone.
Voldemort waved his wand lightly, and the red light was deflected, landing on a nearby tree and exploding into sparks.
He turned his head, looked at Henry, and grinned menacingly.
"Interesting," he said. "A twelve-year-old kid like Zi actually had the courage to pull out a magic wand when facing me—do you even know who I am?"
"I know." Henry gripped his wand, his palms sweaty, but he didn't back down. "Voldemort."
The moment that name was uttered, the surrounding air seemed to grow colder.
Voldemort's eyes narrowed.
"How dare you call me by my first name?"
"Why wouldn't I dare?" Henry said nonchalantly. "A name is meant to be called. You used to frighten people because you were powerful. Now you're hiding in a professor's body, surviving on unicorn blood, what's there to be afraid of?"
Voldemort wasn't angry; instead, he laughed.
"You probably haven't learned how to duel, Henry?"
"I'm just a first-year wizard, Mr. Voldemort," Henry said politely. "You don't intend to duel me, do you?"
The expression was so innocent that Voldemort's expression visibly twisted.
"No," he hissed, "as your Defense Against the Dark Arts professor, I'm going to teach you how to duel—"
Okay, okay, so the mother of the top tutor isn't tutoring Harry, but is instead tutoring me alone, huh?
"First, take out your wands." Voldemort took two steps. "Then, we shall bow to each other."
As he spoke, he actually bowed to Henry.
Seeing that Henry didn't move, Voldemort sighed.
"Come on, Henry, etiquette must be observed. Dumbledore doesn't want you to forget your manners, does he?"
"
Henry bowed slightly to Voldemort, as if to pay his respects.
"Arrogance." Voldemort grinned. "But I like your arrogance; that's the style of a Slytherin—what dueling spells have you learned?"
"Grinning and snarling, front teeth like clubs, Tarantella dance, and Exorcism weapons, Professor," Henry said, bowing slightly as if he were genuinely exchanging ideas with the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor.
"Hogwarts is getting worse and worse. If this continues, it will become a laughing stock among other schools!" Voldemort said disdainfully. "You know, when I was in school—oh, that time was alright, but fifty years ago, the situation was very different."
Henry raised an eyebrow; he remembered that game.
"You mean that transfer student?"
"Shut up!" Voldemort's expression turned serious. "You—how dare you mention that person!"
"Alright," he said quickly, "I need to teach you some basic spells, how about that?"
"I'd like to learn that spell you just recited," Henry said. "The one you recite to the unicorn, I know, it's the Unforgivable Curse."
He no longer expects Ya Ya to bring back reinforcements; now he can only rely on himself.
Voldemort smiled, his expression clearly showing that he had seen a kindred spirit.
"Good, that's very spirited!" he praised. "Wanting to learn the Killing Charm in first grade? To be honest, I didn't have that ambition when I was a first grader."
At this point, he changed the subject: "However, Henry, the Killing Curse requires strong killing intent to be released. A little wizard like you doesn't have pure killing intent. Your Killing Curse will at most make me bleed from the nose."
"Really?" Henry Rully said hesitantly. "I don't believe it."
"Alright, alright, I knew it." Voldemort chuckled. "Here's what I'll do: I'll teach you this spell, and you go fetch the Philosopher's Stone for me, okay?"
"That sounds fair," Henry nodded. "Much more reliable than those vague promises we made before."
Voldemort's expression darkened, but he was also somewhat satisfied.
"Come on, let me teach you the pronunciation first—avadakedavra, say it with me."
Henry repeated it.
"Very accurate." Voldemort nodded in satisfaction. "Now, I need you to raise your wand, aim it at me, and cast this spell."
"Isn't this a bad idea?" Henry was extremely tempted, but still asked this question.
"It's alright, it's alright, you can't do anything to me anyway," Voldemort said casually.
Since you've already said that, what else can I say?
Henry raised his wand and aimed it at Voldemort.
"Yes, that's it!" Voldemort's face was contorted with madness. "Aim at me, and say the spell I just taught you. Remember that feeling—"
"Avada————"
Just then, the serpent ring on the index finger of Henry's left hand, which was holding the wand, suddenly lit up with an extremely dazzling green light.
Voldemort instinctively sensed that something was amiss.
But it was too late; Henry had already uttered the curse.
"Kedavra (Avada Kedavra)!"
A torrent of green, which was so powerful that it could not be stopped, suddenly gushed out from the tip of Henry's wand. Before Voldemort could say anything, he was completely engulfed in this green torrent, which was wider than the Thames!
