"Where are they now?" Hua Zitong asked.

"Wait in the lobby. Their attitude was much better this time than last time; they weren't as aggressive," Steel Shield said.

The two walked through the corridor and arrived at the hall of the Myth Guild. In the hall, Chen Yan and his two lieutenants were sitting calmly on the sofa.

When Li Wu and Hua Zitong entered the hall, Chen Yan's gaze immediately fell upon them.

His eyes were deep, as if they could see right through people's hearts.

"Very good." Chen Yan nodded. "It seems that President Wulikanhua is a very intelligent awakened one."

"Director Chen, what brings you here this time?" Hua Zitong asked directly, not wanting to beat around the bush with Chen Yan.

Chen Yan turned his gaze back to Hua Zitong, his eyes filled with admiration: "Vice President Hua, you are indeed as direct as ever. Well then, I'll get straight to the point."

He paused, then said, "You are probably aware of the current situation in New Beginning City. The number of Awakened has increased dramatically, and various forces are intertwined. The mission of Dragon Shield is to maintain order in New Beginning City and ensure that the power of Awakened is not abused."
