Qiu Yingying is reborn and bound to a learning system.

After the two had eaten and drunk their fill, Qiu Yingying insisted on paying the bill. Then she went to a nearby fruit shop and picked out a basket of plump strawberries and shiny black cherries before getting into Andy's car and heading straight to the hospital where Qu Xiaoxiao was.

As soon as I pushed open the ward door, I heard Qu Xiaoxiao, her injured right foot propped up, leaning against the hospital bed, talking animatedly to the person on the other end of the phone. Her tone was deliberately coquettish, and her voice was almost whiny at the end: "Dr. Zhao~ do you think I need to take good care of my foot? Then I'll have to trouble you to come over for my follow-up appointment tomorrow, right? I'm all alone in the ward, and I'm afraid of the pain and being lonely."

Qiu Yingying and Andy exchanged a glance, a hint of barely suppressed amusement flashing across their eyes. They both chuckled softly and slowed their pace.

Hearing the noise, Qu Xiaoxiao hurriedly hung up the phone. Seeing the two people standing at the door, her eyes lit up instantly, and she completely forgot her previous timid demeanor. Her voice rose eight octaves: "Yingying! Andy! You're finally here! Tell me quickly, did you leave that Wei guy speechless? Did he get so angry he was jumping up and down?"

Qiu Yingying placed the heavy fruit basket on the bedside table, rushed over, and winked at Qu Xiaoxiao, deliberately raising her voice as if afraid Andy wouldn't hear: "Absolutely! I'll be two men in one! Let me tell you, I pretended to bump into him, and a few words were enough to expose his pretentious little scheme. He was so angry his face turned green, like a boiled toad, he couldn't even speak properly, and finally slunk away!"

As she spoke, she gestured wildly, imitating Qi Dian's disgusted look with his furrowed brows and snorting, and then mimicking her own fierce stance with her hands on her hips and glaring back. She described it vividly, without missing a single detail.

Qu Xiaoxiao listened with great excitement, forgetting the pain in her foot. She slapped the edge of the bed and cheered so loudly it almost lifted the roof off: "Well done! That's how you should be dealt with! He dares to mess with Andy? No way! Qiu Yingying, you're something else! Your silver tongue has really improved. How come I never noticed you were so eloquent before?"

"That's right," Qiu Yingying proudly raised her chin, then suddenly remembered something, leaned closer to Qu Xiaoxiao, covered her mouth with her hand, lowered her voice, and winked at her with a gossipy look, "By the way! The Dr. Zhao you just called, isn't he the one you were talking about before, the super handsome doctor with such a clean and tidy demeanor?"

Mentioning Dr. Zhao, Qu Xiaoxiao's cheeks instantly flushed slightly, her ears even felt a little hot, but she still stubbornly insisted, "What do you mean 'super handsome'? He's just so-so, only slightly better than that guy surnamed Wei, just a bit more pleasing to the eye."

Just as he finished speaking, the ward door was gently pushed open, and a figure in a white coat walked in. It was Dr. Zhao. He wore gold-rimmed glasses, had gentle features, a high nose bridge, and a faint smell of disinfectant on him, but it didn't seem out of place at all. Instead, it made him look clean and refined. He was also holding Qu Xiaoxiao's medical record in his hand.

"I just finished calling you and came over to see how your foot is recovering." Dr. Zhao's voice was gentle, like a spring breeze brushing across a lake. His gaze fell on Qu Xiaoxiao's injured ankle. He squatted down and carefully examined it. The warmth of his fingertips pierced through the gauze, making Qu Xiaoxiao's heart tremble.

Qu Xiaoxiao instantly suppressed her usual arrogance, her voice softening by eight octaves, and the end of her sentence regained its coquettish tone, completely different from how she had confronted Qiu Yingying earlier: "Dr. Zhao, my foot still hurts a little. Should I apply the medicine for a few more days? Will it leave a scar? I still want to wear high heels."

Qiu Yingying suppressed a laugh, her shoulders trembling slightly. She secretly nudged Andy's arm and mouthed silently, "See, it's all an act."

Andy shook his head helplessly, but his eyes were full of laughter. He mouthed the same words: "Childish mentality."

After Dr. Zhao finished the examination and carefully gave some instructions such as "Don't get it wet," "Move around as much as possible," and "Take your medicine on time," he turned to leave when Qu Xiaoxiao suddenly called out to him, her voice sweet and soft: "Dr. Zhao! Wait a minute!"

Dr. Zhao turned around, adjusted his glasses, and looked at her with a puzzled expression: "Is there anything else?"

Qu Xiaoxiao pointed to the fruit basket on the bedside table, raised her chin in a seemingly generous manner, but a hint of expectation was hidden in her eyes: "I can't finish all this fruit by myself, it's a waste to leave it here, you can take some back! The strawberries and cherries are freshly bought, they're very fresh."

Dr. Zhao paused for a moment, then chuckled. His gaze fell on the fruit basket, and he looked at Qu Xiaoxiao's barely concealed thoughts. He gently shook his head: "No need, you can keep it for yourself. Focus on recovering and try to be discharged as soon as possible."

After saying that, he turned and left the ward with light steps.

Watching Dr. Zhao's retreating figure, Qu Xiaoxiao's eyes were glued to him, as if they were stuck there. Only when the door closed did she reluctantly look away, her blush still lingering on her face.

Qiu Yingying couldn't hold back any longer and burst into laughter, laughing so hard she almost couldn't breathe: "Xiaoxiao, the way you were acting just now was so obvious! Your eyes were practically glued to him! And you said he was just so-so, but I think you were completely bewitched!"

"What?!" Qu Xiaoxiao retorted stubbornly, reaching out to tickle Qiu Yingying, and the two began to wrestle. "That was politeness! Don't you understand politeness?! You brat, if you laugh again I'll tear your mouth off!"

Andy sat on a chair to the side, watching the two lively little girls, a smile never fading from his lips, his eyes full of tenderness.

After arguing for a while, Qiu Yingying remembered her business. She took out a delicate little box from her bag and handed it to Qu Xiaoxiao, her eyes filled with apology: "Here, this is an apology gift for you. You sprained your ankle trying to help me. I spent a long time picking out this bracelet; I'm sure you'll like it."

Qu Xiaoxiao curiously opened the box, inside was a simple silver bracelet with a small bell pendant hanging on it, which shimmered under the light.

"Wow! It's beautiful!" Qu Xiaoxiao's eyes lit up, instantly forgetting their earlier playful fight. She immediately grabbed Qiu Yingying's hand and made her put it on for her. "You really understand me! This bell is so cute! Qiu Yingying, you have great taste!"

She shook her wrist, and the bell rang crisply, a lovely tinkling sound. Her smile was bright and radiant, like a blooming sunflower.

Seeing her happy expression warmed Qiu Yingying's heart, making her even happier than when she received a gift herself.

Andy looked at them, shook his head helplessly yet affectionately, and gently instructed, "Don't be so reckless in the future. Xiaoxiao, you too, watch where you're going, don't be so careless."

"We know, Andy!" the two answered in unison, exchanging a smile with unspoken understanding in their eyes.

The setting sun streamed through the window, casting golden rays upon the three of them, creating a warm and beautiful scene.
