......

The pirate subordinates on the defensive line received orders to board the ship for inspection.

Before boarding, the entire ship will be mechanically scanned.

Several scanning beams shot out from the space station, enveloping the seemingly ordinary civilian transport ship.

The scanning beam swept across the room from front to back.

The pirate in charge of the outer outpost looked at the light screen, and the scan results were quickly displayed on the screen:

[Standard civilian cargo vehicle, unarmored, no energy shield.]

[Low-power civilian engine, no abnormal energy fluctuations.]

No weapon mounts or energy weapon signatures were detected.

[Life signal count: 23. Race: Human. Energy response: Weak.]

[A large amount of organic matter was accumulated in the cargo hold, exhibiting plant-like characteristics. No lethal weapons, explosives, or high-energy reaction devices were detected.]

......

A very ordinary logistics and transportation starship.

The lead pirate looked up: "No problem, board and check."

With guns pointed at them, the flower boat dared not resist.

The hatch slid open smoothly, and a dozen fully armed space pirate soldiers stepped onto the deck of the transport ship.

The higher female insect, wearing thin armor and carrying a gun, walked past the group of humans, her eyes filled with scrutiny and disdain.

Twenty-odd human crew members, dressed in uniform blue overalls, huddled timidly in a corner, heads bowed and bodies stiff, waiting for the space pirates to finish their inspection.

Their average energy level was less than ten, while the average standard for advanced Zerg females was eight to ten thousand. When an advanced female walked past them, they dared not move or speak.

The space pirates scrutinized the group of humans.

They were all ordinary humans, their auras mixed, without any aggressive pheromones.

In the eyes of the Zerg, an alpha is a male Zerg, an omega is a female Zerg, and a beta is probably no different from a kitten or puppy in the eyes of the Zerg.

Cats, dogs, humans—no problem.

They neither damaged the ship nor killed the humans.

Merchants are not killed during wars between two countries, because they might need to buy something themselves.

If one side kills the merchant, they might never be able to buy anything again.

The space pirates conducted a routine check.

The lead pirate glanced around, his gaze lingering on the cargo boxes piled high with flowers. He scoffed and whispered to his companion, "Tsk, they're at war, and they're still transporting this stuff. They're really bored."

A space pirate chimed in, "Hey, don't you know male insects? Don't they love all this fancy stuff? Male insects are always so fussy, it's nothing unusual."

He casually nudged a box of blooming roses at his feet with the barrel of his gun, and petals fluttered down.

The human behind him hesitated, then said, "Um..."

The lead pirate glanced back casually, and the human was pulled back by his companion.

The lead pirate didn't say anything more, just waved his hand: "Get to work! Be careful!"

The space pirates conducted a routine inspection, dividing into several groups. Their actions were not exactly gentle, but certainly not rough either.

The space pirate who answered the call led a group of insects toward the crew.

They did not make physical contact, but they used vital sign scanners and portable pheromone analyzers to carefully scan each crew member from head to toe.

The instrument screen displays a green "harmless" and "pheromone-free" label.

The crew members stood obediently, trembling slightly.

The pirate who had been speaking raised his voice to the leader of the pirates, "The person is fine."

The leader of the space pirates didn't even turn his head; he simply gave an "OK" sign to his back, indicating that he understood.

He took another group of insects to inspect the cargo hold.

As the hatch opened, an intense, almost overwhelming, blend of floral scents wafted out.

Several space pirates couldn't help but wrinkle their noses, feeling like they were about to sneeze.

Holy crap, that's a lethal dose of flowers.

The cargo hold was filled with metal crates and insulated flower barrels of all sizes, with vibrant roses, lilies, freesias, tulips, and more standing out in a dazzling array.

The space pirates scanned all the cargo boxes with probes and then tapped on the box walls to check for hidden compartments.

They pried open several randomly selected boxes, reached inside and rummaged through them, bringing out petals and leaves that scattered all over the ground.

The detection instruments scanned back and forth inside the cargo hold, and apart from the life signals of plants and the reactions of water and nutrient solution, no metal weapons, explosives, high-energy sources or toxic or harmful substances were found.

Some flower petals contain trace amounts of toxins in their sap, but these are normal biological toxins that may cause allergies, but are far from harmful.

"Report! No suspicious items were found, only fresh flowers and some preservation equipment."

The leader nodded, looking at the simple, clearly civilian-grade control panel inside the cargo hold.

He wasn't nervous at all; these small civilian spacecraft didn't have any weapon systems.

One of the space pirates, who was inspecting deep inside the cargo hold, suddenly exclaimed "Huh?" and the lead pirate looked over at him.

He was rummaging through a box filled with a large amount of moss, mostly ferns of various shapes and sizes.

The gun barrel suddenly came into contact with something hard.

He reached into the moss and pulled out a large glass bottle. The bottle was sealed with a cork, had no label, and contained some pale yellow powder.

"Boss, we've found something!" the pirate shouted to the leader, holding up the bottle.

The lead pirate immediately went over, took the bottle from his hand, examined it carefully, and shook it.

A fine, pale yellow powder.

"What is this thing?" The leader of the space pirates frowned, his eyes sharpening. "It's not pollen, is it? It doesn't look like it."

"I don't know, it's hidden under the moss," the space pirate replied.

"Could it be some kind of toxic substance? Let's take a sample for testing."

His subordinate immediately took out a portable multi-functional substance analyzer, unscrewed the bottle, carefully used a probe to take a small amount of powder sample from inside, and placed it into the detection chamber.

The remaining space pirates unconsciously placed their hands on their weapons.

The analyzer indicator light flashed rapidly. A few seconds later, the analysis results appeared on the screen:

[Material composition analysis: Mushroom spores, organic matter. No toxic components. No radioactivity. No abnormal energy reactions. Inert substance.]

"Tch!" Several space pirates scoffed in unison.

Oh, they are some non-toxic mushroom spores.

It turns out it's just some stuff for growing mushrooms.

It startled them.

The leader, a former young master of space pirates, was well-informed and threw the bottle back at the pirate with annoyance: "It's probably just some kind of landscaping material or a symbiotic fungus on some flower. Next time, test it yourself. Don't overreact; it's bad luck."

The space pirate awkwardly took the bottle and shoved it haphazardly back into the mossy box: "That's alright, boss."

Inspection complete. The crew deemed the vessel harmless. The ship was unarmed, contained no contraband, and posed no threat; therefore, it meets the conditions for release.

The pirate leader at the outpost said into his earpiece, "It's ready. You can come back now. Get ready to let them pass."

A human crew member who was passing by the transport ship when they stole the spaceship from the first planet said, "Alright, you can go in now."

He then turned to threaten, "Remember, behave yourself on Blackwater. We're on wartime alert, so don't wander off. Blackwater is full of highly armed female insects now. If you run around and get... killed, don't blame us for not warning you." He made a throat-slitting gesture.

The lead crew member nodded and bowed repeatedly: "Yes, yes, sir, rest assured, we'll leave immediately after delivering the goods and won't linger..."

Without another word, the space pirates turned and filed off the spaceship.

Inside the control room of the flower transport ship, the ship's AI received a signal: "Barrier docking request approved. Preparing to receive guidance signals. Preparing to enter the Blackwater Star barrier."

Upon receiving the report that the inspection had passed, the foreman ordered: "Release!"

The enormous energy barrier covering the planet began to ripple like the surface of water.

A portal, just large enough to allow the ship to pass through, slowly opened in front of the transport ship.

Inside the door lies the thick atmosphere of Blackwater and the surface below, 99% of which is covered by sea.

The flower boat adjusted its course and slowly sailed into the opened portal of light.

The ship passed through the barrier.

After the last part of the stern also passed through the light gate, the opened light gate quickly closed, and the barrier became complete again.

The flower-adorned ship entered the planetary barrier.

The spaceship descended, fully loaded with flowers and twenty-three crew members, and entered the dark atmosphere of Blackwater.

The ship's AI received guidance signals from the ground and smoothly landed on the black island below, the only one visible above the sea.

As the black island gradually enlarges, settlements and countless starships become visible.

This is the final lair of the space pirates.

Human beta soldiers boarded a flower-decorated ship and, officially under the guise of the head of the Human Rebel Party Leaders Alliance, infiltrated Blackwater Planet.
