Yi Xunyuan is a real mad dog; when he goes mad, he'll even bite himself.

Because he kept making a fuss, the guards had to knock him unconscious, and the first thing he did when he woke up was to demand to see Youlu.

The wound, which had just stopped bleeding, was reopened by him. He pressed hard on the bloody hole in his shoulder and threatened viciously, "Make Xiao Yunlu come see me, or I'll bleed to death!"

As dawn broke, the mountains and forests were silent. A thin mist hung in the air, and the leaves were a mix of yellow and green. Suddenly, a dark shadow flashed by and headed towards the horizon.

After autumn arrived, the morning temperature was a bit low. Yinwu rubbed his hands together, hesitated for a long time, but finally mustered up his courage and knocked on the door of the largest room in the village. He said respectfully, "Master, I have something to report."

There was no movement from inside the door.

Yinwu had no choice but to grit his teeth and knock three more times.

A deer was fast asleep in a warm embrace when it was suddenly woken up by a knock on the door, and its morning grumpiness immediately flared up.

He kicked his legs irritably, pushed away the man who was hugging him, rolled over into the blanket and went to the far end of the bed, muttering, "Hey, go open the door."

Suddenly finding his arms empty, Cang Shuyue woke up with a frown. He reluctantly opened his eyes, his voice hoarse from sleep, and asked coldly, "What is it?"

Yin Wu's voice came from outside the door: "Yi Xunyuan is insisting on seeing the Seventh Prince, or he'll hurt himself."

"Let him die." Cang Shuyue said without the slightest hesitation, reaching out to pull Youlu, blanket and all, into his arms, gently coaxing, "Sleep a little longer."

The deer nodded dazedly.

After their successful night raid last night, they stayed in the mountain stronghold because it was inconvenient to return to the city. Fortunately, because of Yi Xunyuan's arrival, the kidnappers prepared a new house for him, complete with new sheets, blankets, and all the utensils, which was quite a bargain for them.

He had worked hard for most of the night to appease his jealous boyfriend, and now he was so tired that he would sleep even if the King of Heaven himself came.

Outside the door, Yinwu scratched his head in a troubled manner and whispered, "Master, why don't you ask the Seventh Prince again?"

His only response was: "Get lost!"

Yinwu sighed and was about to leave when he heard a muffled voice from inside the door say, "Brother Yinwu, tell him that if he wants me to see him, he should first show some sincerity."

The owner of the voice was clearly still asleep.

Then there was no further movement.

Yinwu responded with a "yes" and left with light steps.

Inside the door, Cang Shuyue pinched the slender waist of the person in her arms with dissatisfaction and said in a muffled voice, "Baby, do you really want him to be your dog?"

Afraid her boyfriend would misunderstand, Youlu forced open her sleepy eyes, looked into the man's eyes, and said seriously, "How could that be! I'm very picky, okay? I don't want a filthy thing like him. I just want to get information out of him."

Cang Shuyue gently nuzzled his full lips with delight, "Baby, I'm all you need."

You Lu was both amused and exasperated. Why was this going on? Was being someone's dog something to be proud of?

Sensing the change in the man's body, his expression changed instantly. He pushed the man away and said solemnly, "I'm so sleepy, I want to sleep. Don't bother me!"

"Okay, I'll sleep with the baby." Cang Shuyue truly hugged him and made no other moves.

Yinwu returned to the room where Yi Xunyuan was being held and said arrogantly, "Our Duchess said that if you want to see him, you should first show your sincerity."

Yi Xunyuan looked at him like he was crazy and shouted, "What nonsense are you talking about! I want to see Xiao Yunlu, not some damn wife of yours!"

After shouting, he paused for a moment, and the image of Cang Shuyue holding Youlu last night flashed through his mind. Suddenly, he understood everything.

"No wonder the Zhenguo Guild intervened at the training ground, so that's how it is!" He muttered to himself, his face, pale as paper from blood loss, flushed with rage as he roared, "We both coveted Xiao Yunlu, so why did Cang Shuyue get her! I refuse to accept this!"

Yinwu narrowed his eyes dangerously and warned, "I advise you to give up on that idea."

However, Yi Xunyuan ignored him completely, shoving him aside and staggering to the door. Peeking through the crack, he shouted, "Xiao Yunlu, what's so great about that old man?! I'm younger and more skilled than him! Only I can make you feel good! Why did you choose him and not me?! I'm not satisfied!"

Yin Wu's temple throbbed with veins as he cursed, "Madman!"

If he wasn't afraid that he wouldn't be able to control his strength and beat someone to death, he would really want to beat this beast.

Unable to bear it any longer, Yinwu knocked Yi Xunyuan unconscious with a single chop to the neck.

The world suddenly fell silent.

When he woke up again, Yi Xunyuan had learned his lesson. He had someone bring him pen and ink and made a list of those involved in the human trafficking in Cizhou. The list included not only the kidnappers and people from the training grounds, but also government officials and two wealthy local merchants.

Yinwu scrutinized the list he had compiled, glancing sideways as he asked, "How much do you know about the buyers?"

Yi Xunyuan, breathing weakly, said, "The magistrate of Cizhou has a list of buyers."

He paused, then asked, "When will Xiao Yunlu come to see me?"

Yinwu waved the list in his hand and sneered, "We'll have to wait until my wife has seen this list before we can discuss it."

Yi Xunyuan clenched his fists.

Youlu woke up naturally after a good night's sleep, stretched comfortably, and looked up to ask Cang Shuyue, who was leaning against the headboard reading a book, "What time is it?"

Cang Shuyue put down the book in his hand, pulled the person to his chest, wrapped him in the outer robe draped over his shoulders, lowered his head and pressed it against his forehead, and said, "It's already noon, are you hungry?"

A deer rubbed its belly, "I'm hungry."

Cang Shuyue smiled and gently stroked his face. "Lunch is ready. You can eat after you've washed up."

"Alright!" Youlu jumped up, rubbing her hands excitedly. "Come on, let me help you get dressed!"

Cang Shuyue was stunned. Shouldn't he be the one to say that?

Youlu didn't care about anything else. He stripped the person naked first, then changed them into clothes and accessories of his choice. By the time they were dressed, he had eaten his fill of tofu.

Looking at her boyfriend, who was dressed up so beautifully, he nodded in satisfaction.

He wore a maroon inner shirt with a dark pattern, paired with a white outer robe embroidered with gold thread, a purple-gold crown on his head, and a jade belt around his waist. He was both majestic and dashing.

Cang Shuyue tugged at the wide white sleeves, feeling uncomfortable, and said, "It's too flashy and inconvenient to move around. Let's change into something else."

"No way!" Youlu hugged his arm. "You're always dressed in black, I'm tired of it. We need to change things up sometimes!"

My boyfriend is so good-looking, it would be a waste if he didn't try out different styles!

Unable to resist his insistence, Cang Shuyue coughed lightly and asked with some trepidation, "Is it pretty?"

"It looks amazing!" A deer jumped three feet high and clung to him like a koala, showing him how beautiful it was.

"Promise me! Don't always dress so old-fashioned. You're so young and handsome, why bury your potential? You know your looks are my honor!"

Cang Shuyue's ears turned bright red as she nodded earnestly, "Yes, I'll wear whatever you tell me to wear from now on."
