It turns out that you'll never know your full potential until you push yourself.

Xu Nian actually reached the finish line in just one and a half hours, despite thinking that the 20-kilometer loop around the island was impossible to complete.

This speed is almost comparable to that of a professional runner, not to mention he's carrying a 60-pound load.

The price was that, once the adrenaline subsided, Xu Nian felt all her strength drain away instantly, her vision went black, and she collapsed to the ground as if she had been welded to the concrete.

He lay on his back, his eyes rolled back, his mouth slightly open and closed, barely breathing.

His whole body was stiff, no different from a dried corpse. He didn't even have the strength to move a finger, and his muscles ached so much that they felt like they were about to fall apart.

Long Teng stopped, took out the raw meat he had prepared, and fed the hungry Tibetan mastiff.

Seeing that it had gradually calmed down, he smiled and came to Xu Nian's side, squatted down, gently poked his arm with his finger, and said with a sly grin, "Boss, you're really good! With this result, you could run a marathon. You're much better than I was when I first started training!"

Xu Nian struggled to move her eyes and gave him a disgruntled look.

He wished he could stand up immediately, deliver a flying kick to Long Teng, and smash that bastard's head in.

But now his whole body was limp, like a crushed block of tofu, and he didn't even have the strength to argue. He could only lie on the ground, panting heavily.

But Longteng doesn't seem to intend to let him off the hook yet.

He glanced down at his watch and whistled twice. "Alright, break time. Get up and move on to the next item."

These words struck Xu Nian like a thunderbolt, leaving her stunned and feeling as if the sky was about to fall.

He used almost all the strength he had left to coax out three words from between his teeth.

"Huh? There's more?"

"Of course."

Long Teng casually picked up a stone and effortlessly crushed it into powder.

He, who had also run 20 kilometers, was now acting as if nothing had happened. His face wasn't flushed, he wasn't out of breath, and he hadn't even shed a few drops of sweat, which was in stark contrast to Xu Nian, who lay on the ground like a dead dog.

"Our profession is bodyguard. Just running around won't protect our employers."

Xu Nian weakly raised a finger and pointed to her face: "Should I continue practicing too?"

"Of course," Long Teng replied without hesitation. "Boss, you forgot? You said yourself that you'd train exactly the way we train, right?"

Xu Nian felt a sweet taste in her throat and almost spat out a mouthful of blood.

Long Teng's words are true; he really said them himself.

He now wishes he could travel back to when he said those words and slap himself twice.

Without considering their own capabilities, they immediately tried to play a game of hellish difficulty with people like Longteng.

He simply spread his hands and lay sprawled out, completely giving up: "I can't go on anymore, my bones are about to fall apart, you guys keep practicing."

Seeing this, Long Teng was not angry at all; instead, he grinned.

He has a million ways to deal with someone who wants to desert.

He waved to his brothers not far away, signaling them to come over, then raised his voice and asked, "Brothers, isn't our boss treating us well?"

"That's great!" the brothers shouted in unison.

"Now the boss says his bones are broken, shouldn't we massage him to try and put them back in place?"

"should!"

As they spoke, the group turned their heads, their gazes falling on Xu Nian on the ground. Their eyes were full of ill intent, their knuckles cracking, and they all wore the same wicked smiles.

"Holy crap!" Xu Nian froze, goosebumps rising all over his body. His previously unfocused eyes instantly cleared, and he sat up abruptly from his deathbed, jumping up from the ground with his legs trembling uncontrollably.

Judging from the way these people are acting, this is hardly a massage. If they actually started doing it, I'd probably be molded into clay.

"No...no need!" He quickly waved his hand and said, "I'm all better now, I'm all better now."

Fearing they wouldn't believe her, Xu Nian gritted her teeth and, despite the pain that felt like her bones were about to fall apart, managed to jump twice.

Long Teng squinted and grinned slyly.

"Look at my medical skills, they haven't gotten rusty at all. My ability to set bones remotely is just as good as it was back then."

Xu Nian was on the verge of tears: "Is this legitimate medical practice? It's clearly intimidation!"

Long Teng laughed heartily, reached out and patted Xu Nian's shoulder, which was almost falling apart. The force was neither too light nor too heavy, but it still made Xu Nian wince in pain.

"No matter what method we used, we've cured the boss's bone problem. Now, shouldn't he cheer up and continue training with us?"

Seeing that he was not joking, Xu Nian knew that she was doomed.

He had no choice but to bite the bullet and nod reluctantly.

Soon, Long Teng led him and his brothers to a single bar.

He whistled twice from his chest, his tone instantly turning serious as he gave the order.

"200 pull-ups, start now. If you don't finish, you won't get dinner tonight."

"How...how...how much?" Xu Nian's heart pounded.

He rubbed his ears in disbelief, wondering if he had misheard.

"200. Any problems?" Long Teng tensed his muscles, his eyes darkening slightly as he glared at him with a hint of threat.

"I surrender, I really can't go on."

Xu Nian immediately raised both hands and gave an exaggerated French military salute.

Even if you unleash that Tibetan mastiff to kill me, I can't do that much.

Long Teng ignored him and pulled out two pairs of handcuffs from behind him. Without saying a word, he cuffed Xu Nian's raised hands and tied the other end firmly to the horizontal bar.

"Don't even think about getting off until you've finished."

After doing all this, Long Teng gave his brothers a wink.

The group immediately understood and walked to the horizontal bar. They hooked their little fingers on the railing and moved up and down the bar with ease and fluidity, clearly setting an example for Xu Nian and trying to provoke him.

Xu Nian simply gave up, letting herself be hung on the horizontal bar, swaying gently in the breeze.

He was well aware of his own abilities. Even at his best, he could only do 10 to 15 pull-ups at most. Now, with his whole body aching and weak, and carrying a 60-pound sandbag, he probably couldn't even do one.

He made up his mind to just hang there until his brothers finished. Long Teng couldn't just stand by and watch him hang there, so he would eventually let him down.

But once again, he made a resounding assumption.

Just as he was drifting off to sleep, he suddenly felt a burning sensation on his feet, the burning sensation shooting up the sole of his shoe.

He suddenly opened his eyes and saw Long Teng smilingly pushing a brazier blazing with flames slowly to his feet...
