After walking for a few minutes after leaving the cafeteria, Ding Jiahe and Wang Hao walked onto a small path where few people passed by.

He wanted to hold Ding Jiahe's hand. The two of them strolled leisurely along the path.

"So you can't show your face... I should have known better than to volunteer," Wang Hao joked.

Ding Jiahe glared at him, tilting her head to look at him: "What do you want to show off? Want to be a big star?"

Wang Hao looked down at her craning her neck and chuckled, "I'm no good, but you might be."

"Come on, I don't even have many lines, how could that be?" Ding Jiahe rolled her eyes at him.

"Why don't you try to persuade the director again? You've already applied for discharge from the military and can find employment on your own. Why not just pursue a career in the entertainment industry?" Wang Hao said to her.

"If you have this idea, talk to the military region about it, and everyone will work together to help you. Maybe you can succeed."

Ding Jiahe shook off his hand, crossed her arms, and walked away, pondering:

"That works too. If you put it that way, maybe this really is an opportunity that God is giving me."

"After they finish filming this movie, I'll discuss with them taking me with them, and I'll go wherever they film in the future."

"Yes, that's good." Wang Hao nodded.

Ding Jiahe crossed her arms and turned to look at him: "Pretty good?"

"That's good." Wang Hao nodded again.

Snapped--!

Ding Jiahe punched Wang Hao in the shoulder with lightning speed. Wang Hao groaned and rubbed his shoulder, saying, "Ouch, thank goodness I practiced recently. What happened?"

"You think you can just let me go just because I said I'm leaving?" Ding Jiahe stared wide-eyed.

"Whether you leave or not is your decision, isn't it? I can only respect your decision." Wang Hao said earnestly.

Ding Jiahe bit her lip, raised her arm, and looked like she was about to throw another punch.

Wang Hao quickly jumped aside: "I was just kidding you, just kidding you! I wouldn't want you to leave."

He stopped laughing and looked at Ding Jiahe: "But then again, I mean it. Xiao Ding, I respect whatever decision you make."

Ding Jiahe looked at his face, her ear tips turning slightly red. She pursed her lips, trying hard to control her expression. But her heart was surging with happiness and joy that she couldn't suppress.

"I was just teasing you. I can't bear to part with the clothing company, and I can't bear to part with Wenxi and the others." Ding Jiahe turned her face away, stomped her feet, and took a few quick steps.

"That's all?" Wang Hao caught up with her, leaning closer. "Isn't there anything else you're reluctant to part with?"

"That's all!" Ding Jiahe replied without turning her head.

"No way?!" Wang Hao feigned a look of utter despair.

"What do you think?" Ding Jiahe stopped and smiled, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Go ahead and tell me, I don't know." Wang Hao smiled smugly, subconsciously dodging to the side, afraid she would beat him up again.

Ding Jiahe laughed too: "And you! I can't bear to part with you the most, okay?"

"I knew you'd miss me the most." Wang Hao pulled her into a hug.

"Ugh, let go of me!" Ding Jiahe punched him, her face flushed.

"Ah—!" Wang Hao screamed in agony.

"Xiao Ding, you don't usually train, how come you're so strong?" Wang Hao clutched his chest, grimacing.

"Huh? Does it hurt a lot? I didn't use much force." Ding Jiahe saw him wincing in pain.

"Come here, feel it, my pectoral muscles are all swollen." Wang Hao grabbed her hand and tried to press it upwards.

"Bullshit! Your pecs are naturally—" Ding Jiahe didn't finish her sentence before realizing she'd been tricked.

Her ears were bright red. Wang Hao was looking at her with a grin, but when she realized what was happening, he took off running!

"Wang Hao!" Ding Jiahe stomped her foot.

Wang Hao shouted as he ran, "Tell me again, what happened to my pectoral muscles?"

Ding Jiahe, her face flushed, chased after him, shouting, "You dare stand there!"

Ding Jiahe chased after Wang Hao and ran out of the alley.

"You should go back to the garment factory quickly, I need to go back to the division headquarters building," Wang Hao called back as he ran. "I'll talk to you next time."

"Next time, I'll smash your pectoral muscles flat!!" Ding Jiahe shouted at the top of her lungs.

The two young soldiers passing by were startled.

Seeing that she couldn't catch up, Ding Jiahe stomped her foot and turned to walk towards the clothing store.

Inside the clothing store, Ye Wenxi and the others had just finished lunch and were packing up their things.

"I heard you went on a picnic with Weidong this weekend? Did you have fun?" Zhang Yunxia asked, leaning closer.

"It's quite fun." Ye Wenxi nodded.

But my mind uncontrollably conjured up a series of images from the picnic...

"This place will be our secret base from now on, and no one is allowed to come and disturb us," Lu Weidong said while flipping the grilled fish.

"Who else could bother us? There's not a soul in sight here." Ye Wenxi looked around.

"What do you mean no? Wang Hao almost followed us, but I stopped him." Lu Weidong tore off a piece of fish and stuffed it into his mouth.

"If others find out, we can't stop them either," Ye Wenxi said, resting her chin on her hand.

"Then there's nothing I can do. But I won't bring anyone else here." Lu Weidong smiled as he looked at her.

"When I first came here, I saw the environment and the big rocks, and I felt that it was perfect for us to have a picnic." Lu Weidong pointed to the flat boulder next to him.

This big rock...?

Ye Wenxi stuffed fish into her mouth, glanced at the boulder, and the erotic scenes of her and Lu Weidong on it flashed through her mind again.

"Lu Weidong, it seems you've been planning this battle for quite some time," Ye Wenxi said, tilting her head and frowning.

Lu Weidong grinned mischievously and touched his cheek with his tongue: "Anyway, it's achieved."

Ye Wenxi took a deep breath in anger, wanting to punch him, but she couldn't beat him. She could only glare angrily at Lu Weidong, her eyes almost spitting fire.

Lu Weidong grinned and looked up at her: "Are you full?"

"Hmm..." Ye Wenxi responded softly.

"Eat your fill and let's keep fighting." Lu Weidong dusted off his hands and stood up.

Ye Wenxi's eyes widened: "Lu Weidong, do you really not want me to go down the mountain?"

"What are you afraid of? I'll carry you on my back." Lu Weidong slowly began to take off the vest he had just put on.

"What about the tent? You carry me, and I'll carry the tent?" Before Ye Wenxi could finish speaking, Lu Weidong had already taken off his clothes.

"Sit down! Or I'll poke you with some charcoal!" Ye Wenxi brandished a smoking fire stick.

"It's not intimidating at all," Lu Weidong said with a deep laugh, and Ye Wenxi could only watch as his imposing figure slowly approached her.

Ye Wenxi's face turned bright red, whether from the heat of the charcoal fire or from embarrassment, it was hard to tell.

"oops--!"

Lu Weidong slapped the stick out of her hand, grabbed her, and hoisted her onto his shoulder.

"Lu Weidong! I'm never going on a picnic with you again!" Ye Wenxi was being carried on his shoulder, her legs kicking wildly.

Zhang Yunxia noticed Ye Wenxi's gaze drifting away, lost in thought. She waved her hand in front of Ye Wenxi's eyes and asked, "What's fun about that? What did you all play?"

"Hmm...ah...the stream was quite fun. We even went fishing and grilled fish, and stayed there all day before heading back after dark." Ye Wenxi came back to her senses.

"Then let's go together next time," Zhang Yunxia said.

"Ah...that..." Ye Wenxi stammered.

"What's wrong?"

"It's okay! It's fine!" Ye Wenxi swallowed.

Oh no, Lu Weidong is going to kill her again.
