Chapter 19 Determination

"Jinju, can you explain what those marks on your neck are?"

Hearing Tang Feng's question, which he already knew the answer to, An Jinju couldn't describe how she felt.

She couldn't figure out what the other person was thinking, nor did she know what they planned to do next.

He was a strange man who wore countless masks, and no one knew what the truth was beneath them.

And most importantly, they can't beat them.

There's very little she can do in the face of such an oddball.

An Jinju sighed softly to herself as she recalled the determination she had made yesterday.

She stared into Tang Feng's eyes, her fingers lightly touching the deep red mark on her neck, and slowly took a breath.

"This is... a kiss mark left by my master."

Quiet.

Upon hearing this, all the girls in the class were stunned.

Even the good students who were reading were now listening intently. Some of the girls were too embarrassed to be too obvious, so they pretended to pick up their textbooks again, completely unaware that they were holding them upside down.

Shengxue, who was standing next to An Jinju, was also stunned. Her small mouth opened slightly unconsciously, as if she had heard something unbelievable.

She quietly tugged at An Jinju's skirt under the table, trying to remind her that she had said something unbelievable.

Ignoring Sheng Xue's reminder and the gazes of her classmates, An Jinju tilted her head and looked at Tang Feng, "Any other questions, teacher?"

Tang Feng hadn't expected the other party to answer like that. After a quick reaction, he smiled.

"Hmph, that's outrageous. Come to my office after class."

Tang Feng flicked his sleeves, put his hands behind his back, and stormed out of the classroom.

As soon as the teacher left, the class became noisy.

The girls covered up their conversations with their morning reading voices while whispering among themselves.

"I never would have guessed. She looks so innocent, but she's actually so promiscuous in private. Is she playing master-servant play?"

"How dare she say that to the teacher's face..."

"Was that intentional? Was she just provoking us?"

"This kind of delinquent girl must have a very promiscuous private life..."

"I even spoke to her the day she transferred here. I never imagined she was this kind of person..."

"No wonder you transferred schools; you couldn't stand staying at your old one, could you?"

"It's best to stay away..."

Hearing the whispers of her classmates, An Jinju's fingernails dug deeply into her palms.

She knew that she would never have a good friend in this class again.

But once she made that choice, there was no turning back.

An Jinju sat back down on the stool, looking dazed.

"Jinju, why did you say those things just now?"

It was the sound of Holy Snow.

An Jinju turned her head and saw Sheng Xue looking at her with a surprised and concerned expression.

I bet even Saint Snow would stay away from someone like her...

An Jinju looked somewhat saddened. She spoke softly, "You shouldn't have spoken to me, Shengxue."

Why not?

"You'll be isolated if you get too close to someone like me with such a dissolute private life."

"No, because I know it's not true!" Shengxue said loudly.

An Jinju chuckled softly, "How much do you really know about me? We've only known each other for a few days."

"Although we haven't known each other for long, I know that Jinju is a very kind person. She will do everything she can to protect everything she wants to protect. Actually, I sensed that from the beginning. You've always wanted to protect me, right?"

An Jinju fell silent.

Shengxue continued, "Although I don't know why Jinju wants to protect me, I've always sensed that Jinju can't be a bad person."

"You must have had a reason for saying that, right?"

"If you don't want to tell me, you can talk to Teacher Tang Feng. He might be able to help."

"Your words have angered him, but he certainly won't really mind. Teacher Tang Feng is always very patient in listening to the students' voices."

"Saint Snow." Hearing Tang Feng being mentioned repeatedly, An Jinju finally spoke up, interrupting the other person. "Teacher Tang Feng isn't angry."

"How could that be? I saw him storm out."

"You don't understand him as well as I do, Shengxue," An Jinju said softly.

Saint Snow wore an expression of disbelief.

"While I wouldn't say I completely understand him, I've at least seen more of his masks..."

An Jinju spoke softly, as if talking to herself.

After class, An Jinju arrived at the door of Tang Feng's office.

She could guess how she would be treated in the coming period of time.

In the past, she would have felt fear, dread, humiliation, and tears.

But after careful consideration yesterday, she understood many things.

Unaffected by any negative emotions, she knocked on the office door with unwavering ideals and beliefs.

"Please come in."

A polite voice came from inside.

She went inside and saw Tang Feng sitting at his desk, flipping through the documents in his hands, with a thick stack of various documents and materials piled up beside him.

"Is there something you need?"

Upon seeing that the person who came was his student, Tang Feng stopped what he was doing, spun around in his chair, and faced An Jinju.

An Jinju stared at Tang Feng for a long time.

This was the first time she had observed this eccentric teacher without any preconceived notions, forgetting his eccentricity, forgetting the fear and humiliation he had once brought her, and observing him solely from the perspective of a student.

He possesses an impeccable appearance, a mature masculine charm, and a touch of mystery. Tall and well-built, with strong features, he is gentle yet kind, approachable and patient with his students.

If she hadn't known he was weirdo, hadn't known any of this, perhaps... during her long student years, she really might have fallen for him?

After all, such a young, handsome, outstanding, and perfect male teacher is the object of many teenage girls' nightly fantasies.

She knew that many girls in the class liked Teacher Tang Feng, including Sheng Xue.

If she didn't know all this, wouldn't she have become one of them?

She was once somewhat rebellious, and might even have wanted to develop a passionate teacher-student romance, which would be very cool for a rebellious girl.

An Jinju pursed her lips.

But there are no "what ifs".

He was a weirdo, a complete weirdo, and she witnessed his evil side firsthand.

She is a magical girl, and it is her duty to eliminate evil monsters.

But the strange man in front of them could not be eliminated; she and her sister had already given their all yesterday.

She even suspected that the other party had not left any injuries, and that those seemingly horrific wounds were just his casual play.

Therefore, before a more powerful magical girl arrives, and before she is certain she can eliminate her opponent, she needs to keep him calm and prevent him from harming more people.

It wasn't out of necessity to be a slave after consuming flesh and blood, nor was it a thirst for life, but rather...

The duty of a magical girl.

She figured it all out last night.

"There's nothing to be afraid of anymore."

She said it to herself silently.

She raised her head and looked directly into the other person's eyes without flinching.

"Teacher, you asked me to come to the office after class."

"Oh right, look how busy I am, I almost forgot." Tang Feng slapped his forehead and sat up straight. "Explain what exactly happened."

"I already said, this is the master's task~"

"This is outrageous! Do you have any shame at all? Call your parents over!" Tang Feng slammed his fist on the table in anger.

"My parents aren't here, I only have an older sister~" An Jinju held up a finger and touched her lips, making a cute girlish face, "But my sister isn't in this city anymore either."

Tang Feng revealed a dangerous glint in his eyes.

An Jinju met his gaze without fear.

"You can toy with my body, my will, everything about me, but you can never destroy the core of a magical girl's spirit. Sacrifice, dedication—as long as this spirit resides deep within me, I will never fall into your hands!" Her gaze was so resolute, as if she were declaring the most unwavering vow in the world.

The next moment, she involuntarily disappeared from her spot and appeared out of thin air on Tang Feng's lap, her soft and elastic face being pinched by a large hand.

"Is this your understanding, little tangerine?"

"I'm mentally prepared to give everything for my master," An Jinju said softly, as if she were trying to convince herself.

"So what you said in class was your pledge of allegiance?"

"Master, why won't you believe me? I am truly dedicated to serving you."

As An Jinju spoke, she reached out a hand and placed it on Tang Feng's broad chest, slowly moving down through his white undershirt to his abdomen.

"Stop touching it, there's no wound here that you're looking for." Tang Feng couldn't help but laugh as he watched the girl's slightly awkward movements.

An Jinju's hand paused.

"What's wrong? Disappointed?" Tang Feng asked with a smile.

An Jinju gently rested her head on Tang Feng's chest, raised her head, and revealed innocent eyes. "Master, what you said makes me very sad. I was worried about you. Seeing you so energetic makes me genuinely happy."

"Although your acting skills are still quite immature, they are still to my liking."

Tang Feng spread one of the girl's fair thighs apart, making her sit astride him instead of sideways, bringing them even closer together.

He leaned close to An Jinju's ear and spoke softly, the air he created causing the fine downy hairs on the girl's ear to sway gently.

"I know what you're thinking. You want to use someone's sacrifice to lock me to you. The more I ruthlessly humiliate you, the stronger your will will become, because you'll feel that everything you suffer is a necessary sacrifice to protect the person you want to protect. The more pain you endure, the less pain someone else will suffer. What a noble and great belief..."

"Little Jinju, you are a qualified magical girl, and I like you more and more."

"As for people I like, I generally won't take any overly drastic actions."

Tang Feng stuck out his tongue and gently touched the girl's cheek. He poked at her slightly puffed-out cheekbones and then moved to her soft lips.

No one could tell what lay beneath their affectionate facades.

Like something falling on the beach, it vanished without a trace.

For a long time, the lips are divided.

Because the kiss lasted so long, An Jinju felt suffocated for a moment. At this moment, she finally caught her breath and breathed softly.

Looking at the girl's flushed cheeks, Tang Feng smiled slightly, "Is that all? We have a long road ahead of us, this is just the first step."

An Jinju wiped the saliva from the corner of her mouth and stubbornly said, "I can do it."

"His kissing skills are quite rusty and need improvement."

"I... will practice more."

Tang Feng raised an eyebrow. "Practice? Besides me, who else can you practice with?"

He pinched the girl's chin and pressed it against hers again.

As their lips parted, An Jinju, slightly intoxicated, suddenly snapped back to reality. Something was wrong. What was he doing? Instead of his usual violent humiliation, he was being... gentle?

She sensed something was wrong. What was the other person's purpose? Was it to break her spirit?

Knowing that her inner beliefs wouldn't be easily destroyed, did you change your approach and try to make her fall into it without her realizing it?

What a terrifying weirdo.

She'd rather get slapped than have a dangerous kiss.

"I happen to need an assistant. If you don't have anything to do during breaks, come to my office to serve tea."

"Yes, Master." An Jinju lowered her head and bowed.

Tang Feng waved his hand, "You can go now. Call Sheng Xue over."

An Jinju was slightly taken aback upon hearing this.

She stood up, went behind the seat, and hugged Tang Feng from behind.

She wrapped her arms around Tang Feng's neck and pressed her head against him. "Is Master dissatisfied with my service?"

An Jinju reached out a hand, grasped Tang Feng's hand, and then gently placed that hand on her chest.

"You could...go even further."

Tang Feng couldn't help but laugh as he watched the girl's inner nervousness masked by her desperate attempts to hide it. "Don't be so nervous. I told you, I won't do anything to her."

An Jinju paused for a moment, but her hands didn't stop moving. "But my master taught me not to easily believe the promises of strange people."

"I'm not a weirdo anymore, I'm Teacher Tang Feng."

"No, you're a weirdo!" An Jinju retorted loudly.

Realizing what she had said, An Jinju shrank back, and the atmosphere became awkward.

Just as An Jinju thought she was about to suffer another unbearable humiliation, an untimely knock sounded at the door.

"Teacher Tang Feng, are you inside?"

It was the sound of Holy Snow.

Tang Feng smiled, while An Jinju's expression turned ugly.

"Please come in."
