Chapter 62 The Birth of the Star Sea Community

Chapter 62 The Birth of the "Starry Sea Community"

Because it holds one of the three permanent council seats of the "Celestial Alliance," one of the largest branches of the "Celestial Alliance" was established on the planet Melo.

The alliance headquarters was located in a star system controlled by the "Final Defense Protocol".

The Angel Civilization has restructured its own civilization, abolished the original theocratic system, and eliminated the previous class distinctions such as kings and guards.

Guided by pacifist and extreme egalitarian ideologies, the Angelic Civilization established a new Mero Celestial Council.

Keisha and He Xi currently serve as the Speaker and Vice Speaker of the Council, respectively, while many former high-ranking angel guards hold important positions as councilors and wield great power.

Out of respect for Keisha's former status, many angels still habitually refer to her as the Queen.

The Angel Civilization now has a total population of over 10 billion, and its technological level has undergone earth-shattering changes compared to before.

Under Keisha's leadership, and referencing the Titan flagship, battlecruiser, and escort ship templates provided by the "Final Defense Protocol," the Angelic Civilization also formed a new Skyblade fleet.

The Angel Civilization has entered a completely new era of development, and at the same time, they have realized that the survival of their civilization is linked to their absolute military strength.

In order to improve the overall military strength of the Angel Civilization, they must have sufficient living space.

Now, much like the "Human Federation," they are expanding their colonies and plundering resources more deeply within this newly developed river system.

However, it differs from the "Human Federation" in that—

If we encounter indigenous civilizations that have not yet developed faster-than-light space travel technology and have not yet entered interstellar society.

The Angelic Civilization will enlighten and guide them, and upgrade their technology, much like the "Final Defense Protocol," to help them quickly become a true interstellar civilization.

If the era of divine authority had been dominated by a previous order of justice, these indigenous civilizations, enlightened and guided by angels, would have become vassals of the angelic civilizations upon entering interstellar society.

However, the current ideology of the Angelic Civilization does not allow for the existence of such an unequal relationship as vassalage.

Therefore, if these ascended "indigenous civilizations" are willing, the angelic civilization will invite them to join the "Alliance of the Gods" and work together to promote development.

Currently, the entire "Alliance of the Gods" has nearly 30,000 members.

Although most of the civilizations behind these alliance members are still extremely weak, it is believed that after a certain period of development and expansion, they will eventually grow into powerful interstellar civilizations.

The angelic civilization, which leads the "Alliance of Gods," will also benefit from this as one of the permanent council members, and will progress and develop together with it.

However, most of these newly enlightened indigenous civilizations are still like ignorant children, completely unaware of the cruel laws governing this universe.

They will compete for resources, colonies, and the right to speak in order to better facilitate the development of their own civilization.

Once dissenting voices emerge within a group, various problems can arise.

In order to quell these incidents, the Angelic Civilization, as one of the permanent council members of the "Alliance of Gods," had no choice but to step in and resolve the situation, inevitably expending a great deal of energy in the process.

Unlike the previous era of "just order".

In an era of justice and order, there are only a handful of god-level civilizations in the universe. While there are also space-class civilizations, they are inefficient spacefaring civilizations that cannot achieve faster-than-light technology and cannot rely on their own technology to achieve long-distance interstellar travel.

No matter how many troubles such a spacefaring civilization may cause, it will not pose any real threat. Sending just one or two angel warriors would be enough to easily subdue them.

But that's no longer possible. In today's interstellar society, where everyone has achieved faster-than-light technology, the Angelic Civilization can no longer arbitrarily determine the justice of a civilization based solely on individual subjective will, as it did before.

Otherwise, it is easy to break into conflict with them, and once a conflict breaks out, it may further escalate into an interstellar war.

Currently, every member of the "Alliance of the Gods" has warships equipped with faster-than-light strike capabilities, so if war breaks out with such a civilization...

The costs of any war are incomparable to those of the nebula-level wars between angels and demons in the past.

The so-called nebula-level war is at best a war model classified according to the standards of small nebulae with a diameter of no more than fifty light-years, like the Angel Nebula.

Even if the battle eventually exhausts the resources of an entire nebula, it won't mean much to the current members of the "Alliance of the Gods".

If these allied members were to unite and attack, the entire Angelic Civilization might be overthrown.

In order to suppress these increasingly ambitious alliance members, the Angel Civilization and the other two permanent council civilizations had to rely on the "Final Defense Agreement" behind them to exert pressure.

Ultimately, in order to compromise with the differing voices within the "Alliance of the Gods".

After a meeting, the allied members, led by the Angelic Civilization, unanimously agreed—

The latest novel is first published here!

Let those members who like to express different opinions leave the "Alliance of the Gods".

They can engage in independent diplomacy and development, or they can form interstellar alliances and covenants independent of the "Alliance of the Gods".

There is only one condition they must agree to: join the newly established "Starry Community"!

The "Starry Sea Community" is a massive organization that differs from alliances like the "Celestial Alliance" and is better able to manage the order of interstellar civilizations.

Within the "Starsea Community," diverse opinions are permitted, as are various competitive behaviors, including arms races and wars of plunder.

In short, it's about survival of the fittest.

A weak civilization wants to survive under the order of the "Starry Sea Community".

They could either join the "Alliance of Gods," a peace-loving and equality-promoting civilization like the Angels, or seek the protection of other civilizations and join other, more powerful alliances...

Although this will cause internal losses and war casualties for some weaker civilizations, at least it will not interfere with the rapid development of the alliance members in the "Alliance of the Gods".

After all, within the "Starsea Community" today, the vast majority of civilizations, like the Angel Civilization, which have been enlightened by the "Final Defense Protocol" and are willing to coexist peacefully with other civilizations, still make up the majority.

There is no order that maintains a single, unchanging concept; there is only an order that adapts appropriately to the development of the times.

To make this order more stable and sustainable, the Angelic Civilization strengthened its ties with the "Final Defense Protocol" and also worked to build more Skyblade fleets.

A new ambition, along with the establishment and consolidation of the "Starry Sea Community," was brewing and rising within the Angelic Civilization.

Looking at the data of the Skyblade fleet, which numbered in the tens of millions of warships, displayed on the virtual projection screen.

Inside the council chamber, Keisha's gaze was ignited like a bonfire.
