Chapter 34 Entrapment
Chapter 34 Entrapment
"Fxxk you!! Black devil! You think you're so tough? Come on! Let me see how tough you really are!" Zhang Ailun cursed, using foul language.
He rattled off words like "no father," "watermelon," "fried chicken," "farmer," and "cotton picking" in quick succession.
Her sweet words were like honey, each one piercing to the heart, causing a psychological blow; she was incredibly rude.
The old Manchu people have never been very resilient psychologically, and they tend to use the same few words repeatedly when they curse.
Zhang Ailun has experience in the Zaun region, so his hand speed isn't fast, and his parents aren't around.
Old Hei was stunned with anger; it was the first time he had ever seen someone so good at spewing insults.
"If any one of you can beat me, this $620 is his! If not, then you'd better get back to your fields and pick cotton! This place is mine from now on!!"
Zhang Ailun pulled out a thick roll of banknotes, which instantly attracted Lao Hei, who was originally considering running away.
Their eyes widened immediately as they stared at the thick roll of dark green US dollars.
Unable to resist the primal allure, the group exchanged glances and rushed forward without a word.
Another person pulled a fruit knife out of their pocket!
Zhang Ailun, acting as a sting operation, pulled out a broken baseball bat from his lower back, sprinted forward, and swung the bat at Lao Hei's eye socket. With a loud bang, the baseball bat screeched as it rubbed against the air.
It hit his eyeball so hard it exploded instantly.
"You were the one who pulled out the weapon first."
Another blow broke his wrist bone, knocked the fruit knife away, and stomped the knife under his foot.
"Damn it, I knew you'd be up to no good rushing in. Trying to pull off a knife? Back when I was playing no-holds-barred street fighting, you were still a tadpole!"
"Play! Play! I love playing!!"
Zhang Ailun swung his whip kick, slapping his thigh repeatedly.
The other person's thigh quickly became red and swollen.
Old Hei collapsed to the ground, letting out a pig-like wail, covering his eyes and thighs.
My thigh felt throbbing and numb, as if I had been hit by a speeding car and was no longer under my control.
The other black men were terrified. Seeing the bloodstains on the damaged baseball bat, they turned and ran without looking back.
"Don't ever show your face on my turf again!! Or I'll slaughter you all one by one!!"
Zhang Ailun yelled, "You bastard!! You'll remember this!! Fxxk you!!"
Leo stood on the opposite side of the street, pushing his little cart, dumbfounded, looking at him as if he were a monster.
Zhang Ailun went up and slapped the unconscious Xiao Hei a few times, successfully waking him up. Looking at his dazed and confused expression, he pointed to the old black man next to him, who was crying and wailing like a woman.
"Take him away! This is my territory from today onwards! My name is Humbert Juan King! You've trained in boxing, so you're pretty good, huh? Don't let me see you again! Or I'll just take you down!! I'll crush your balls and shove them in your mouth!"
"OK, OK!!" Xiao Heizi's eyes instantly cleared, and he nodded repeatedly like a chick pecking at rice.
There was nothing he could do; Zhang Ailun was waving his blood-stained, battle-damaged baseball bat in front of him.
Xiao Heizi was terrified that he would swing the stick and smash it on his head, popping out his eyeballs!
He scrambled up, hoisted Old Hei onto his shoulder, and limped away from the street.
"That's all for now."
Zhang Ailun smiled calmly, carrying a baseball bat.
He won people over with virtue and with strength, and easily conquered another street.
"You are so cruel, Mr. Kim..."
Leo was so submissive, he seemed like a tyrant.
"But I must say, you really gave us a much-needed boost!!"
Zhang Ailun waved his hand. "Don't flatter me. I'm not someone who likes to fight violence with violence. But there's no other way. If you want to do well on the streets, you have to take tough measures! I believe that after this news spreads, other scavengers won't resist joining our group."
Subduing the enemy without fighting was the best outcome he desired.
"Of course!!"
Leo responded enthusiastically, "When I get back, I'll go and persuade those lone scavengers to join our team!"
"That's for the best."
Zhang Ailun grinned: "Leo, you should be able to find Lori Louis 19's headquarters, right? I'll talk to the team leader about this when I get back, and he'll come here tomorrow to spray our graffiti. You should also get ready to officially start your job. You can contact the leader if anything happens; his name is Dominic, and he'll be our team's second-in-command from now on."
He himself wasn't good at picking up cans, but Dominic was different. The Can King had been picking up cans on the street for two and a half years and had already developed a keen eye for them.
From a great distance, one glance is enough to tell how many pounds the jar in your pocket weighs, and a quick weighing is enough to estimate its value and the types of items that can be purchased with it.
She's a perfect accountant!
However, this is limited to the can recycling business. Dominic's academic background is too niche, and he would be completely lost if he encountered other fields.
Oh, and there's also Dave, the legal pioneer. I wonder how his case is going. If he performs well, Zhang Ailun will consider hiring him as a private lawyer in his team, since we're all on the same side.
Dave is clearly a double-edged sword.
Normally, we can't easily deploy him; if we do, either our own people end up in jail, or the enemy is sentenced to two hundred years in prison. The first battle is the decisive one; a single battle will decide the fate of the world!
If used well, Dave could be used to sue the mayor of Los Angeles and list out all of the mayor's crimes, putting him in jail for two hundred years. If used poorly, he could just self-destruct on the spot, and all his own people would end up in jail.
What kind of conceptual strategic weapon?
If you just ask him to offer advice and popularize legal knowledge, that's something he can do.
After all, hiring a lawyer from a law firm is just too expensive.
"I understand," Leo nodded in response immediately.
After greeting him, Zhang Ailun handed over his prized baseball bat to the other man and turned to leave.
I received a message from Reina midway through.
I took out my phone and glanced at it.
Reina: I really like the flowers you sent me!
I sent a picture of flowers in a glass vase, and the bottle of Pinot Noir on the table.
Zhang Ailun: I'm glad you like it.
Reina: Where did you buy that bottle of wine? It must have been very expensive.
Zhang Ailun: Buy? You're underestimating me! I picked these out of the trash!
Reina was instantly rendered speechless.
Rena: Ellen, you really don't need to say that! So? Are you planning to go on a date with a bottle of liquor you picked out of the trash and some flowers?
Zhang Ailun: I don't think I ever said I wanted to go on a date with you, Reina. This is just to thank you for your selfless help. After all, without you and Dominic, I would probably still be homeless on the streets.
Reina: Okay, I understand. Anyway, thank you for the flowers and wine! It's been a long time since anyone gave me a gift.
Zhang Ailun: I don't think this will be the last time. I've never tried anything salvaged from the trash can, maybe we can give it a try sometime? That would be a really cool idea!
Rena: You're a homeless person, so of course you'd easily accept things you find. Okay, you drink red wine, and I'll drink beer.
Zhang Ailun: OK!
Zhang Ailun then used social media to notify Dominic, informing him in advance of what was happening.
Dominic was clearly amazed by his efficiency.
Dominic: You just went to stand up for me and you took down two blocks? You single-handedly took down two groups of people? Dude, you're amazing! Are you Superman? You didn't cripple them, did you?
Zhang Ailun: They brought this on themselves. No one can bully my people. I restrained myself, and it's true that no one was killed. How's it going on your end?
Dominic: We just got back. David and Gates went to the Carnation Club street to collect cans. They even asked to camp out there tonight to prevent anyone else from trespassing on our territory. I tried my best to dissuade them, but it was hard to dampen their enthusiasm.
Zhang Ailun: If they applied for it voluntarily, then let them be.
After all, the other party has a wealth of experience in street survival, even more so than Dominic. Now that he has his own street, it's the perfect time for him to make a name for himself.
Ok……
Are you going to try different ways to beg and collect cans?
