Douluo Dragon King: My Strategy System Is a Bit Off

Chapter 28 Xiao Deng Has Something to Say

Welcome to the first episode of Xiao Deng's Talk.

The reason for this session is that this book was released at noon today. On QReader, it's normal for a book to be released at 50,000 words. Please don't think I'm crazy for money. Those who frequently read Douluo fanfiction should know the release rules on QReader.

This is not something I can control, and my books have always been primarily published on QRead, so it has always been like this.

Moreover, it was supposed to be published after 50,000 words, but because of the Chinese New Year, I wrote more than 62,000 words.

All I can say is that I did my best.

These are all digressions; the main point is to chat with all the old Deng readers and book lovers about the later development of this book and other plans.

This is the third fanfiction I've written, "Legend of the Dragon King." I admit the first two weren't very good, and I got a lot of criticism. But there was nothing I could do; as a beginner writer, I didn't have a very good grasp of the first two works.

Therefore, some common labels have been attached to me, such as "female author" and "faithful simp writer".

I know all of this, and I accept it calmly.

But I hope that when I write this book, everyone will not apply their previous perspectives here.

My initial motivation for writing the first book stemmed from reading too many stories where the protagonist could accidentally meet and abduct Na'er, and even win over Gu Yue. I immediately sensed something was amiss. Both Gu Yue and Na'er ultimately fell for Tang Wulin because of the influence of the Golden Dragon King's bloodline. Therefore, it was impossible for a typical transmigrator protagonist to achieve all of this through Tang Wulin. They wouldn't even encounter Na'er.

Based on this, I later wrote my first Dragon King fanfiction.

It was written on the spur of the moment, so the rest was a mess.

I'm not very good at writing mindless, wish-fulfillment stories. My second Infinite Flow Douluo fanfic was a disaster because of this. But most Douluo fanfics are like that. Often, I just want to write the romance and story that I think are good; I believe fanfics shouldn't be just about providing enjoyment for the sake of enjoyment. But sometimes I really don't handle it well. And because this book spans the trilogy, I included a lot of foreshadowing, so there might be some issues in certain parts.

Therefore, I sincerely hope everyone can help. If you feel there are any problems, please feel free to point them out, and I will definitely consider them. I even rewrote a chapter for this purpose, which is a testament to that.

There aren't many fanfics about the Legend of the Dragon King. It's only started to get a little better this year, but it's still far behind other works.

I can't guarantee anything else, but the one thing I can assure you is that I will definitely finish writing it. As long as I can eat, I won't stop updating. I've already finished the first two Dragon King novels.

We still hope everyone will give us their support, but we should act within our means.

The subsequent large-scale updates will take place after the Lunar New Year. Updates will continue as normal during the holiday. Thank you for your understanding.
