After finally finishing all that fuss, Ningbao looked sadly at her soaking wet bear pajamas, then dragged her little slippers and scurried off to find Mumu.

"Mumu, Ningbao needs a bath again~"

Mumu is researching how to enter the dream world. It's not as simple as just falling asleep and dreaming; otherwise, this kind of cheat wouldn't be available to a middle school student.

"How about you change into your pajamas, little bunny?"

Mumu rummaged through the box and found a set of blue-gray bunny pajamas, handing them to Ningbao. Ningbao nodded, then hugged her own clothes and ran back to the bathroom, very conscientiously taking a shower and changing clothes, no longer needing Mumu's help.

However, Mu Mu was still a little worried. Asking Ning Bao to bathe the two little ones was definitely too much of a burden for the child. She went over to check on them and found that Ning Bao was fine. Although her mind was still in a state of reincarnation, her life skills had indeed improved, and she could now do many things.

But the other two little pups…

Mumu picked up one of the wet pups in each hand and grabbed a hairdryer to dry their fur. Both pups struggled constantly; clearly, neither bathing nor blow-drying was a pleasant experience for them.

However, not drying them properly is definitely not an option, or they'll catch a cold. So Mengmeng and Baigao tried to escape again and again, only to be caught and brought back by Mumu each time.

"Ningbao's all washed up~"

Since she had already washed once, all she needed to do this time was rinse her off and change her clothes. Ningbao quickly hopped out of the bathroom wearing her brand-new bunny pajamas.

"Ningbao, go to your bedroom first. I wrote the instructions on a little note on your bedside table. Take a look at it first. If you don't understand anything, I'll come back and explain it to you later."

Mumu grabbed Bai Gao, who had tried to escape again, and continued to blow-dry his fur despite Bai Gao's extremely resistant gaze.

"It's not hot."

Mumu isn't the kind of person who's careless. When she was blow-drying the two little cubs' fur, she used one hand to shield them, but the two little cubs still resisted a lot.

Ningbao glanced at it twice, then obediently hopped and skipped to the bedroom, really looking a bit like a little rabbit.

"Lucid dreaming..."

Ningbao held the note in her two little hands and read it aloud word by word. When Mumu came in carrying a little cub who looked utterly hopeless, Ningbao happily waved the note in her hand:

"Ningbao understands now~"

"Oh? Ningbao's reading comprehension has improved again."

Mumu placed Baigao and Mengmeng on the soft bed, and naturally praised Ningbao again. Ningbao happily wagged its non-existent tail, then kicked off its slippers, climbed onto the bed, and waved at Mumu:

"Mumu, come up here quickly, we're going to dream!"

"Um."

Mumu brought out four black blindfolds, but each blindfold had a small hole on it. She put them on one by one, making sure that light could pass through the hole.

One of the conditions for entering the dream world is to have a lucid dream. This is a method that Mumu found online. She doesn't know if it will work, but she'll give it a try.

The four cubs lay neatly on the super-large bed, each silently repeating phrases like "I want to have a lucid dream," "I'm dreaming," and "I'm awake." Of course, this was information Mumu found online; whether it would work or not was uncertain, and they would have to try it to find out.

While trying to fall asleep, they also try to construct their own dream, the more details the better, and it can defy the logic of reality, because the rules of the dream world can violate the rules of the original world.

……

Ning Bao found herself in a huge classroom, her consciousness somewhat hazy. You could say she was lucid—she was almost unaware she was dreaming—but you also couldn't say she was delirious; she still remembered her name was Ning Bao.

"Ningbao, come here quickly, it's our turn to do chores today!"

A girl of about ten years old waved at Ningbao, and Ningbao, who was about the same age as the girl, responded and walked over with a broom from the corner.

"I'll sweep the floor, you can wipe the blackboard."

"OK."

The girl agreed, picked up the blue blackboard cleaning cloth from the podium, and went to the restroom to wash it.

As Ningbao swept the floor, she felt something was off. Why was the broom so short? Why did she always feel like she shouldn't be as tall as the broom?

She's in fifth grade, how come she's not as tall as a broom?

A question flashed through Ning Bao's mind, but quickly disappeared.

Just then, the girl who had gone out to wash the rags returned, chatting with Ningbao while wiping the blackboard:

"Ningbao, that weirdo we met today was so scary!"

Weird guy? What weird guy?

Ningbao swept the floor blankly, having no idea what the girl was talking about.

"That clown who suddenly appeared in front of the school building, wasn't you the first one to rush out and see?"

The girl was also surprised:

"You even shook hands with him later. But speaking of which, I really admire you. How can you chat with anyone? You even managed to have such a good conversation with a stranger."

A flawless version after careful inspection!

What clown? What handshake?

Ningbao is now completely baffled.

"Oh no, we have to go to PE class! Hurry up, we're going to be late!"

The girl suddenly threw away the rag in her hand, grabbed Ningbao's hand, and ran away.

As Ningbao ran through the corridor connecting the two teaching buildings, she saw the giant clown floating in the air. The clown seemed far away, but as it slowly approached, its figure grew smaller and smaller until it was the same size as them.

"Hey, Ningbao, wanna go to PE class?"

"Mmm~"

Ningbao nodded subconsciously, then started to feel a headache coming on again. Why did she feel like something was wrong? Was she starting to develop a brain?

But things appear smaller when you get closer and larger when you get further away, so there's no problem.

……

Dreams are illogical, and Ningbao wasn't fully conscious, so her dreams were naturally illogical as well. Mumu, however, was very lucid; in her dream world, everything was virtually identical to reality.

A normal school, a normal home, a normal farmers' market—but Ningbao, Mengmeng, and Baigao were nowhere to be seen.

Mu Mu wasn't in a hurry; she simply lived a perfectly normal life within her perfectly normal dream world. People with cheat-like abilities can freely enter and exit other people's dreams. Her dreams were almost identical to reality; whenever something appeared that differed from reality, it meant someone had entered.

……

Mumu seems to be the only one who remains conscious; in any case, Mengmeng and Baigao are still unaware that they are dreaming.
