The Primordial Path of Kong Xuanming

Chapter 39: The Treasure Distribution Rock - Each God Gains Something.

Hongjun Daozu's words were like a fuse. From that moment on, there would likely be no more peace in the primordial world. The gods would fight and struggle fiercely for this single opportunity. It was already inevitable.

After everyone in the hall had finished asking their questions and had no further doubts, Hongjun said, "In my early years, I traveled and collected some spiritual treasures. Now that I am about to sacrifice myself to merge with the Dao, these things are of no use to me, so I will distribute them to you all, so that you may use them to prepare for your tribulations."

"For warding off disasters." Upon hearing this, the eyes of the gods below the platform immediately flashed with green light. This sent a chill down the spine of Kong Xuan, who was watching from the sidelines. The green light in the eyes of these gods was far more "powerful" than the eyes of wolves in later generations.

Therefore, with his eyes fixed on Hongjun, Kong Xuan laughed inwardly, thinking, "There's no place for you there. The best Chaos Treasures are all already taken."

Sure enough, just as Kong Xuan finished thinking, he heard Hongjun say, "Supreme Lord, please come up here."

Upon hearing this, Taishang ascended the high platform and stood before Daozu with his hands at his sides. Daozu said, "You are the transformed spirit of Pangu, the head of the Three Pure Ones, and my chief disciple. You must possess a supreme treasure to suppress destiny. I hereby bestow upon you the Taiji Diagram for protection."

After saying this, he took a scroll and gave it to Laozi. Laozi bowed and accepted it, thanked his master, and sat down.

"Primordial Taoist," the Taoist Ancestor called Primordial Heavenly Venerable forward and said, "You were also transformed from the primordial spirit of Pangu. In the future, you will take charge of the great religion, teach all living beings, and attain the sage's destiny. I will then bestow upon you the Pangu Banner to suppress the fortune."

The Primordial Celestial Venerable thanked Hongjun and accepted the gift, then returned it.

"Tongtian Daoist," Hongjun called to Tongtian, "you were transformed from the primordial spirit of Pangu. In the future, you will establish a great sect, enlighten all living beings, and attain the position of a sage. I bestow upon you the Twelve-Petaled Black Lotus and the Heavenly Dao Destruction Treasure, the Heaven-Destroying Sword."

"Suppress the flow of fortune." Tongtian Daoist thanked him and withdrew.

Kong Xuan looked at the spiritual treasures obtained by the Three Pure Ones. His master, Taishang, and his uncle, Yuanshi, had obtained what he expected, but his uncle Tongtian's acquisition was unexpected. However, with his current level of cultivation, Kong Xuan could see clearly that the Twelve-Petaled Black Lotus was transformed from the fruit of the Primordial Azure Lotus and contained the law of destruction; the Heaven-Destroying Sword was likely transformed from the four divine swords of the "Chaos God-Slaying and Immortal-Destroying Sword Formation," containing immeasurable laws of destruction; one was a supreme innate treasure, and the other a supreme chaotic treasure. However, neither could be used lightly, otherwise it would be contrary to the workings of the Heavenly Dao. Presumably, Hongjun knew this principle, which was why he bestowed these treasures upon them. However, the spiritual treasure obtained by his uncle Tongtian had changed.

After speaking, he took out a map and a pagoda and presented them to Nuwa. They turned out to be the supreme innate treasures, the Map of Mountains and Rivers and the Thirty-Six-Story Exquisite Pagoda. Nuwa looked at them, accepted them, and thanked the Dao Ancestor.

After Hongjun bestowed the gifts upon Nuwa, he remained silent, clearly indicating no intention of bestowing any more. Below the stage, Zhunti, quick-witted, hurriedly pulled Jieyin forward, pleading with the Dao Ancestor, "Our Western Regions are barren, lacking treasures. We beg the Master's mercy..."

"Griefly, I bestow upon you a sacred treasure for protection." As he spoke, his words were earnest, tinged with sorrow.
