The Primordial Path of Kong Xuanming

On this day, it was time for Dao Ancestor Hongjun to preach the Great Dao for the third time. The great gods entered the Zixiao Palace one after another.

Without speaking, Hongjun Daozu began to preach. This time, Hongjun did not talk about how to cultivate, but instead kept uttering strange Dao notes, which seemed to originate from the most primordial ancient sound of Pangu creating the world!

Those profound Daoist notes entered the consciousness of the great supernatural beings, seemingly transforming into giants billions of miles long, tearing through the boundless chaotic void of billions of light-years with axe blow after axe. In the beginning of chaos, the pure rose, and the impure descended. The primordial chaos evolved into the infinite Taiji, Yin and Yang, the Two Forms, the Three Powers, the Four Symbols, the Five Elements, the Six Harmonies, the Seven Stars, the Eight Trigrams, and the Nine Palaces. One begets two, two begets three, three begets the universe and countless things…

From the primordial chaos, Taiji was born; Taiji transformed into Yin and Yang; Yin and Yang became the Two Forms; the Two Forms gave rise to the Three Powers; the Three Powers transformed into the Four Symbols; the Four Symbols became the Five Elements; the Five Elements transformed into the Six Harmonies; the Six Harmonies transformed into the Seven Stars; the Seven Stars evolved into the Eight Trigrams; the Eight Trigrams evolved into the Nine Palaces. In the beginning of all things, the trillions of primordial stars in the universe, following the guidance of the Great Dao, evolved into countless innate rules and formations in the boundless void of billions of light-years.

Countless energies of purity and turbidity, yin and yang, and the five elements intertwine and transform, either ascending into the cosmic void to evolve into the three thousand great worlds, or plunging into the infinite depths to become the Nine Netherworlds and the boundless abyss. The pure ascends to heaven, the turbid descends to earth; under the influence of rules, the primordial chaos energy continuously decomposes into various forms of primordial energy, which then evolve into: countless mountains, plains, green lands, rivers, lakes, seas, spiritual veins…

The wondrous notes of the Great Dao evolve into the rules of the Great Dao, forming images, sounds, numbers, matter, and rules within the consciousness of the gods. These can only be comprehended, not memorized; once comprehended, one has comprehended; if one cannot comprehend, one cannot comprehend. The Great Dao encompasses three thousand realms, all listeners are the same, yet their understanding differs. Any listener can glean from it cultivation methods, supernatural powers, combat techniques, and so on, that suit their own needs.

Thus, 180 million years finally arrived. Hongjun Daozu opened his eyes and gently swept his gaze over the gods, saying:

Since the beginning of time, I have obtained the divine artifact of creation, and by following the natural order, I have attained the origin and mastered the law of balance of the Heavenly Dao. Now, in accordance with the laws of the Great Dao, I will expound the Great Dao three times, each time for 180 million years. This is called the law of balance of the Heavenly Dao, under which the six supreme rules of the Dao will be generated. Those who obtain them can master the highest rules of the Heavenly Dao and attain the path of sainthood!

Upon hearing Hongjun's words, all the gods in Zixiao Palace were greatly shocked, except for Kong Xuan, who smiled knowingly. Ignoring their emotions, Hongjun continued, "At that time, I was the Heavenly Dao, and only concerned with the general trend."

"With the overall situation intact, I will not appear in the primordial world. At this point, the Heavenly Dao will flourish, and several sages will be born to rule the primordial world."

"There are six saints under my tutelage. Saints are born in accordance with the Way of Heaven, attain the Primordial Chaos, and their primordial spirit is entrusted to the origin of the universe, making them indestructible bodies for all eons! If one is not a saint, one will perish when the great eons come. Therefore, without attaining the Primordial Chaos, one is ultimately just an ant!"

Hongjun remained indifferent as he observed the scene below the stage. Only when everyone looked at him did he signal to the gods below to answer their questions as precedent.

The Taoist Master Tongtian stepped forward and asked, "Master, are there any sages among those under the Heavenly Dao?"

Hongjun looked at Tongtian and replied with a smile, "Yes, under the Heavenly Dao, there are nine supreme rules."
