The Primordial Path of Kong Xuanming

The Three Pure Ones and Kong Xuan went directly to the innermost layer. Many of the gods who followed them were blocked by numerous spatial restrictions along the way. When they reached the innermost layer, only a dozen or so great supernatural beings remained, including the Three Pure Ones, Kong Xuan, Nuwa, Taiyi, Dijun, Kunpeng, Zhenyuanzi, Qiankun Ancestor, Yiqi Ancestor, Jieyin Daoren, and Zhundi Daoren.

One by one, the gods stepped forward to try their luck. The Three Pure Ones, relying on their overwhelming power, easily obtained the first three seats. Kong Xuan already knew who these seats belonged to, so he didn't even try to sit down. He simply told the great gods, "These seats are not meant for me," and broke through space to sit in the first seat on the second level.

After countless attempts, the gods could easily enter the space where the seats were located, but they could not gain the seats' approval. In the end, only Nuwa, Jieyin, and Zhunti Daoren obtained the fourth, fifth, and sixth seats, respectively.

Taiyi and the others had no choice but to retreat to the second level and occupy the front seats.

Thus, through the continuous efforts of the great gods, seats in the first to ninth levels of space were finally obtained that matched their strength and destiny.

Suddenly, the bell tolled nine times in succession, and a child's voice rang out: "Ancestor Hongjun has arrived!"

Hongjun Daozu himself appeared silently on the cloud platform. Hongjun looked at the gods and said: "You are all people with great opportunities to come here. From now on, sit like this! Do not cause any disputes over this matter in the future."

Starting today, I will expound on the Great Dao Laws three times, once every three billion years, and each time for one hundred and eighty million years.

Hongjun Daozu began by recounting the beginning of chaos, the birth of Wuji, the separation of Yin and Yang, the division of the Five Elements, and the fact that all things in heaven and earth were nothingness:

Before the creation of heaven and earth, there was something undifferentiated, existing before heaven and earth. Silent and still, it stood alone and unchanging, ever-present and inexhaustible. It can be regarded as the mother of heaven and earth. "I do not know its name, so I call it the Way, and I give it the name Great."

"Greatness is called passing away; passing away is called going far; going far is called returning. Therefore, the Way is great, Heaven is great, Earth is great, and the Spirit is also great. Within the realm there are four great things, and all spirits reside within them. The Spirit follows the Earth, Earth follows Heaven, Heaven follows the Way, and the Way follows Nature. Under the Great Way, Heaven and Earth are the framework, and all existence is the Way. Therefore, the so-called Great Way is omnipresent, and the Way itself is omnipresent."

When Hongjun first preached, he first explained the general principles, and then began to discuss the basic breathing and cultivation techniques of living beings, followed by the transformation of spiritual beings into human form. He then proceeded to expound on the Heavenly Immortal Dao Fruit, the Taiyi Dao Fruit, and the Daluo Dao Fruit one by one, his voice faint and distant.

The sound could be heard throughout the entire primordial world; it was an illusory sound. Everyone in the hall was at least a Great Luo Golden Immortal, so understanding it wasn't difficult for them. Therefore, everyone's face was filled with joy.

Comfortable and relaxed, they listened to Hongjun's sermon while verifying the shortcomings of their respective cultivation methods and supplementing and improving their cultivation techniques.

Meanwhile, Kong Xuan, sitting on the futon, suddenly felt drowsy and bored. His own cultivation method was far superior to Hongjun's; although listening broadened his knowledge, it also...

That was all there was to it, which left Kong Xuan, who had been full of expectations, quite disappointed. However, he remembered that this was Hongjun Daozu, his grandmaster, so he couldn't just fall asleep. Therefore, he forced himself to stay awake and listen to the lecture.
