The primordial era began with the mythological age.

Chapter 15 Li Ling Shi, God and Dao are one!

Taiyi fell into deep thought.

He didn't know how much time had passed when he felt something, stopped his contemplation, and went to the front hall of the temple.

"Clan leader, the river god of the Longyuan River, Li Ling, has come to pay his respects with gifts. He sent someone to inform us earlier, and it seems he will arrive soon."

When the temple keeper, Shanlao, saw Taiyi come out, he quickly said...

Li Lingshi?

Taiyi was momentarily stunned, then remembered that this was Huangshen's daughter, whom he had seen before at Longmen Peak, but they had never interacted privately. Why would she come to visit him?

Could it be the place of Huang Shenshi?

That's not right either, Huang Shenshi and he were in direct contact.

For a moment, Taiyi was also puzzled, so he nodded and said, "I understand. I will go to greet you personally. Please trouble Elder Shan to prepare some mountain fruits and tea."

After saying this, Taiyi walked away and disappeared.

Outside Xiaocang Mountain, Li Ling arrived by carriage.

And pulling the cart were two black dragons.

This display of power is even more imposing than when the great god Julingshi went out; truly worthy of the dragon race.

Taiyi sighed inwardly as he watched.

However, with his father being a deity and his grandfather being an innate dragon god, the fact that two black dragons were pulling the chariot was nothing special.

With a dragon's roar, the chariot landed, and the two black dragons transformed into two tall, imposing men dressed in black armor.

Then the carriage curtain was lifted, and a maid holding a sword stepped out first. Lifting the beaded curtain, a graceful figure stepped out of the carriage.

Li Lingshi wore a light blue dress with white ribbons flowing from under her armpits, moving even without wind.

Upon closer inspection, Taiyi noticed that the woman wore a bun styled like a gold ingot, with a pearl inlaid in the center and hairpins and hair ornaments on both sides, exquisite yet with a restrained elegance.

One look reveals that it is no ordinary object, but a divine artifact.

Beneath her hair, she possessed delicate eyebrows and bright eyes, with refined features and a gentle smile that conveyed an air of unapproachability yet also a sense of aloofness.

Her jade-like arms seemed to glow in the sunlight, and each forearm had a pair of gold rings, exuding a restrained and extraordinary aura.

Li Ling landed barefoot and greeted them first, smiling, "I apologize for disturbing you, Fellow Daoist Taiyi."

"You're too kind, Fellow Daoist Li Ling."

Taiyi smiled and returned the greeting, then invited Liling inside for a chat.

Although Li Ling was barefoot, he was untouched by dust, walking side by side with Tai Yi, who rode the wind.

Behind them, the maidservants and two burly men with black dragon bodies flew on clouds, closely following.

On the way, Li Ling explained her purpose and said with a smile, "I have come here to express my gratitude to you, fellow Daoist. Many tribes along the Longyuan River have received your teachings and should thank you."

"Fellow Daoist, you're too kind."

Taiyi believed Liling's words.

The people who worship Li Ling Shi on both sides of the Longyuan River are, strictly speaking, her subjects. It is reasonable for Li Ling Shi to express her gratitude to them, even though they seem somewhat out of place among the gods.

Li Lingshi did not dwell on this matter, and continued, "Secondly, I would like to ask you about the acquired godhood cultivation system, as I have quite a few demigods under my command who have not yet become gods."

Upon hearing this, Taiyi's heart stirred, and he smiled, "I dare not presume to ask for your guidance; it is truly my honor to discuss the Dao with you, fellow Daoist."

After a conversation, they found they were quite compatible.

A moment later, Taiyi led Liling to his study for a talk.

As for the maids of Li Ling and the black dragon charioteer, they were naturally entertained by the temple keeper, Shan Lao.

Inside the study, Li Ling sat in a chair with curiosity. She did not mind the mountain fruits and tea that Tai Yi had served her. She tasted them first before earnestly asking Tai Yi for advice.

Taiyi had no doubts and spoke frankly and without reservation.

Looking at Taiyi, who was speaking eloquently, Liling felt even more admiration for him.

However, she remained unmoved.

After a long while, Taiyi finished his explanation, and Liling quickly expressed his gratitude: "Thank you very much, Fellow Daoist Taiyi, for clearing up my doubts."

"Fellow Daoist Li Ling, there's no need to be so polite. I also have some questions I'd like to ask you."

Taiyi said.

Li Ling said solemnly, "I will certainly tell you everything I know."

Taiyi immediately asked, "What is a god?"

Li Ling was taken aback for a moment, then immediately understood that this was a question asking her what deities were, and promptly replied, "Gods are one with the Tao!"

"This is the foundation of Shinto cultivation!"

"In the past, the Emperor sorted out the Heavenly Way, opened up the Nine Heavens, established the Divine Court, and unified all the gods. It was with this as the core that the Divine Way cultivation system was established, and the prelude to the Divine Way's control over the Heaven and Earth was opened."

"From then on, the Earthly Emperor, and even the current Human Emperor, gradually perfected the divine cultivation system, all within the unity of God and Dao."

"And God and the Tao are the same, as the Father God once said, originating from the innate gods and demons."

"Innate gods and demons are all born in accordance with the Great Dao of Heaven and Earth, and are born as gods and Dao."

Taiyi pondered for a moment before asking again, "What does it mean for God and the Tao to be one?"

Li Lingshi said: "That which is above form is called the Way, and that which is below form is called the instrument."

"What is a mountain? It is a vessel!"

"The sun, moon, and stars—what are they? They are instruments!"

"The sun rises and the moon sets, flowers bloom and wither—why? These are the manifestations of the Great Dao, its very essence!"

"What is the Dao? The Dao is hidden within the vessel!"

Li Lingshi's words were all precious, and his words were also the language of the Tao.

As she spoke, divine light radiated from her body, manifesting the rising and setting of the sun and moon, the blooming and withering of flowers, and other celestial phenomena.

Taiyi also understood that all things in nature, all kinds of phenomena, are instruments, which are the manifestations of the Great Dao, the existence of the Dao, and the embodiment of the Dao.

The so-called "Tao is hidden in things" refers to the various profound principles hidden in matter and all things.

For example, universal gravitation, the wave-particle duality of light... Look beyond the phenomena to see the essence, and the essence is the Tao!

At this moment, Taiyi couldn't help but think of a saying: Man follows the earth, the earth follows heaven, heaven follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature.

The Tao follows nature, which means that the Tao is simply following nature; the Tao is nature itself, and the Tao is hidden in the vessel!

The practice of visualization involves visualizing the Dao within a vessel, which is a manifestation of the Great Dao. By observing and understanding this Dao, one can truly grasp its essence.

Li Ling continued, "How is the Way revealed? Through the divine!"

What is God?

"The conscious mind is the desire mind; actions are the mind used in daily life!"

"What is the primordial spirit? It is the innate nature, the primordial spirit, which is without thought or worry, naturally ethereal and spiritual!"

Upon hearing this, Tai Yi naturally recalled what he had learned.

The Pulse View states: "When inner thoughts do not arise and external ideas do not enter, one is in complete control; this is called the primordial spirit."

The *Medical Records of Integrating Chinese and Western Medicine: An Explanation of the Human Body and Spirit* states: "The conscious spirit is one that has thoughts and considerations; it is intelligent and not empty!"

The so-called "consciousness spirit" refers to the spirit of thought and the mental activities of a person.

The primordial spirit is the innate spiritual energy bestowed upon us at birth; it is neither known nor known, yet it is agile and perceptible.

As the saying goes, the intention in one's heart is lively and vibrant even in stillness and stagnation.

Just like a newborn baby!

Li Lingshi then said, "Since the gods understand the Way, the gods are one with the Way!"

Tai Yi nodded slightly.

By seeing through appearances to the essence, recognizing and mastering the Tao, one becomes one with the divine and the Tao.

So...

Taiyi pondered for a moment, then asked again, "If God and the Tao are one, what is God?"

It sounds like a question has been asked repeatedly.

But Li Ling understood, a smile appearing on her lips, and said, "It's the primordial spirit!"

Tai Yi's heart skipped a beat: "Just as I thought!"
