The Holy Path of the Primordial World Shines Brightly

Chapter 131 The Storm Subsides (Bonus Chapter for 200 Monthly Tickets)

In critical moments, temporary workers are naturally needed to take the blame.

However, this time being blamed isn't considered too serious.

At most, it's a difference in ideology, leading to different factions.

After all, while the path of dual cultivation might easily be met with disdain if spoken of... it can increase one's strength!

This is enough.

It's destined that others will only verbally express their disdain and criticism, while secretly asking around, "Dude, do you have that yellowish, erotic book about cultivation methods?"

They were happier than anyone else when they were looking for it.

Moreover, as loyal and dedicated individuals who take the blame for the organization, they receive secret compensation and are not treated unfairly.

All of this was already predetermined after Feng Xi and Yu Chen explained the method to break the deadlock.

Lingbao Tianzun was very generous and directly provided a list full of names of people who could be expelled from the training platform.

The key point is that these people... actually did study the dual cultivation method!

This left Feng Xi speechless for quite some time, repeatedly exclaiming how unbelievable it was.

Yu Chen disagreed with this.

"That's normal!" He rolled his eyes. "With so many disciples and followers, and Lingbao Tianzun encouraging his descendants to be innovative, so..."

"If you try every kind of path, what's so strange about this situation?"

"The lineage of the Celestial Venerable has continued from the era of the Dragon and Phoenix Calamity to this day... Over such a long period of time, we have explored even the most obscure directions; it's just a matter of how deeply we delve into them."

Some only grasp the techniques, a little stronger grasps the principles, but the very best among them embark on the path!

This is the state that a great Luo Dao lineage that has existed for a long time should be in.

It's comprehensive!

The Dao of the Great Luo is all-encompassing and can explain everything in heaven and earth... As long as the disciples and their descendants are willing, they will eventually be able to stray onto this path.

"However, in the end, this path has some flaws and can't go very far... therefore, it's rarely involved in the Heavenly Venerable lineage." Yu Chen shook his head. "It requires both Yin and Yang to be present, and the difference between them cannot be too great, in order to make progress... Why cultivate this when there are so many profound methods in the lineage?"

"So this is the path that people take, one that's neither high enough nor low enough."

Yu Chen's explanation was very straightforward.

Feng Xi was speechless at that moment.

After pondering it for a while, he had no choice but to accept it.

Also.

Houtu could give him a bunch of wonderful methods of dual cultivation. It's normal for a lineage like Lingbao Tianzun, which aims to spread the Dao and impart knowledge, to produce some crooked seedlings!

With the tacit approval and cooperation of Lingbao Tianzun, and with the relevant personnel in place, things became much easier.

These eccentric talents, taking the blame for the organization, became diligent pawns in Feng Xi's hands, turning the dirty water thrown by the demon race into benefits, establishing their own sects, which is quite a remarkable story.

Recalling some absurd memories, Feng Xi shook her head inwardly.

"Now that everything is ready, it's my turn to take the stage and perform."

"Go and prepare."

"I'm going to hold a press conference on the training platform to decisively end this media storm!"

……

"Did you know?"

In a corner of the Kunlun Mountains, a scene very similar to what once happened is playing out.

"Hidden deep within the Taoist training platform is such a great secret!"

The same sneaky creatures, the same gossipy onlookers, almost the same routine.

"I heard from my nephew's friend's uncle's brother's nephew... that those recently leaked videos, showing promiscuous relationships, are actually related to a world-shaking cultivation technique!"

"The Great Joyful Ode to the Union of Heaven and Earth, Yin and Yang!"

"With this technique, even those with inferior aptitude and poor talent can still achieve something in cultivation. It is one of the top-tier methods for a 'good-for-nothing' to rise to prominence!"

"The instructors on that training platform use this method to help students who are very poor or slow to grasp concepts improve!"

A phantom ape vividly described a mysterious martial arts technique, boasting that it was unique in the world, a king-level technique that combined efficiency and enjoyment!

It is the ultimate shortcut to both racial reproduction and personal advancement!

"Wow!" one onlooker after another exclaimed, their eyes filled with longing. "Is there really such a powerful method? I wish I could cultivate it."

"When I try to comprehend the great principles of the universe, it's like looking at flowers through a fog, it's driving me crazy... The elders in my clan all say my talent is too poor, what's the point of cultivating the Dao? I should just go have babies and nurse!"

"If I had this cultivation technique, I would definitely be able to turn the tables and become the ultimate demon!"

One creature's envious voice resonated with many present.

"Hmph..." The creature spreading the gossip scoffed, "Don't dream... Such a good thing, how could it possibly be your turn?"

"Only those who have spent a lot of money on training platforms will have experts impart such wonderful methods to them, which, combined with their practice, allow them to achieve a breakthrough in their cultivation level..."

"This was a closely guarded secret of that platform, the foundation for ensuring a constant stream of talented individuals... but somehow it got leaked."

"Sigh, I think it won't be long before that training platform will finally quell this controversy surrounding the inheritance of bedroom arts, right?"

The phantom ape sighed.

"Huh? Vanish?"

Just then, someone chuckled, the laughter filled with disdain, "Brother, your information is outdated!"

This is a Quanxian dog.

At this moment, it proclaims, "The training platform has announced that it will maintain an open and fair attitude in answering questions regarding the dual-major teaching program on its platform. Everyone is welcome to pay attention and participate in asking questions!"

"Really?!" the creatures gathered around exclaimed in surprise.

"It's supposedly true!" Quan Xian Gou said. "I've already seen a lot of demons running that way!"

"What are you all waiting for? Let's go!"

Quan Xian Gou raised his arm and shouted, and the place immediately became agitated. One after another, demons swarmed out and headed towards the nearest branch of the training platform, wanting to learn the truth through the live broadcast.

……

"Please welcome President Feng, the top executive of the Daoist training platform, to speak!"

A press conference for the training platform is being held at the site of a flattened mountain.

After a series of tedious preliminaries, it was finally time to get to the main topic: explaining the current cacophony of rumors.

Amidst enthusiastic applause, Feng Xi stepped onto the stage.

"Thank you all for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate in our press conference."

Feng Xi raised his hand, and the creatures below the stage who were clapping enthusiastically immediately stopped.

This demonstrates an exceptional level of control and showcases his personal charisma.

It was definitely not a case of paying online trolls to put on a show.

"Regarding the recent issue where some beings questioned whether our platform was involved in inappropriate heterosexual relationships..."

"I admit that it's all true."

Feng Xi, with a sorrowful and grief-stricken expression, accepted all the dirty water splashed by the demons.

"Of course, it must be emphasized that... there are reasons for this."

"These are unfair competitive tactics used by some instructors in order to boost their performance and improve the efficiency of trainees' learning..."

"The students' urgent need to improve their strength, coupled with the platform's reward system for outstanding instructors, led to this immoral behavior, which caused shock and misunderstanding among the demons outside the platform."

"On behalf of the training platform, I would like to express my sincere apology—we have failed to fulfill the positive role of a respectable organization in guiding public opinion and have spread unhealthy trends..."

At the press conference, Feng Xi's "open and honest" explanation was a cunning attempt to admit his mistake while not actually doing so.

He did not admit that the dual cultivation method was wrong, but only that the negative public opinion it caused was bad.

"Alright, that's roughly the gist of the matter."

"Considering the impact on public opinion, our training platform will conduct a purification campaign, dismissing instructors who use improper methods of enhancing cultivation, such as 'dual cultivation,' which involve issues of personal privacy and chastity, and promising never to be hired again!"

"Everyone here, if you have any questions, you can ask them here. On behalf of the platform, I have one hour to answer them."

Feng Xi surveyed the crowd below the stage, his gaze sweeping across the room. He selected the online trolls he had arranged from among the people who had raised their hands in acknowledgment.

"President Feng, I have a question!" A small horse suddenly stood up. "I want to ask, is that dual cultivation technique real?"

"My friend, please pay attention before you speak next time," Feng Xi said. "The dual cultivation technique is certainly real."

"Will it be very effective?" Cao Ma pressed.

"It depends on the person," Feng Xi said briefly. "For geniuses, this technique is far inferior to the orthodox Daoist school, which directly points to the fundamental Dao."

"But for creatures of average ability, there are rules to follow, each step forward is clearly visible, and the learning is both enjoyable and educational, greatly benefiting both body and mind!"

"Alright, you've asked two questions. You can sit down now and give others a chance."

Feng Xi pointed at a shelled scorpion. "Friend, what would you like to ask?"

"My question is, could you please not remove this teaching method from the platform?" Shell Scorpion asked. "I feel that as long as it can improve cultivation, personal privacy and chastity... are completely unimportant."

"What hardship can't one endure for the sake of cultivation?" the scorpion said slowly. "As far as I know, some clans will go to any lengths to force their offspring to undergo rigorous training in order to ensure their success."

"Some people are put on electric chairs and have their brains electrified in order to cultivate self-discipline; others are forced to brave mountains of knives and seas of fire in order to cultivate unwavering resilience..."

"If we can do training methods that risk our lives, then what's a trivial matter of chastity?"

Shell Scorpion spoke logically and clearly, and it was obvious that he had read the script and was a paid shill who came here specifically to whitewash his image.

Feng Xi, naturally echoing his own online supporters, declared with an air of righteous indignation, "No need to say more on this matter!"

"Our training platform is a positive platform, one that aligns with universal values... The voices of all peoples are the direction of our efforts!"

"Currently, many reactions indicate a lack of understanding and acceptance of this dual cultivation model, and our platform will naturally adapt accordingly!"

Feng Xi's high moral character and righteous spirit indicate that the training platform is an institution dedicated to cultivating highly skilled cultivators, not one that teaches unorthodox methods!

However, the reaction in the arena was intense.

Following the shell scorpion, one creature after another eagerly spoke up and asked questions.

They bear a heavy responsibility: to completely distort the core of the rumors, turning the issue of promiscuous relationships into something else entirely. Is this a failure of teaching methods or a sign of short-sightedness?

A huge discussion ensued regarding the issue of chastity versus power.

Feng Xi calmly answered each question one by one.

In the end, he didn't manage to stump Feng Xi, but he delivered a resounding speech to the onlookers, giving them a spiritual baptism.

in short.

They've completely fooled me.

"Ugh!"

At the end of the press conference, President Feng Xifeng sighed deeply.

"We have already decided to expel the instructors of the dual cultivation faction... but there are so many enthusiastic people who hope we will keep them."

"In that case, let's arrange a large-scale debate."

"We sincerely invite accomplished practitioners from all fields to debate whether this dual cultivation method is truly worth preserving."

Feng Xi shouted loudly.

It was announced that the outcome of a debate was already predetermined.

So, three months later.

A team of several hundred people quietly withdrew from the various locations of the training platform.

The dual cultivation faction lost.

The art of the bedroom can only be relegated to a side branch of Taoist practice, and is therefore considered low-class.

……

"They're taking a lot of blame for this."

Yu Chen shook his head as he looked at the outcome that had unfolded according to plan.

"Yes, we've taken a lot of blame," Feng Xi said dismissively. "But even though our reputation has suffered, we've made a lot more money!"

"A debate, and they were done for."

"Just you wait and see, soon a group of beings who feel they have poor talent but have some power and status will come to ask for the Dao."

"We lost some face, but gained real benefits."

"A strange and unusual sect that can grow into a large one in the future... Those who choose this path are all very shrewd and understand the underlying principles."

"Alright." Feng Xi turned around, her gaze deep. "The matter concerning the platform is now concluded."

"Taking advantage of the series of events—the demon race spreading rumors and our counterattack—we expanded our influence and carried out a widely publicized black-and-white propaganda campaign... We will see an explosive increase in student enrollment for a period of time."

He told Yu Chen, "You need to be mentally prepared."

"I know that," Yu Chen said.

"How's the foundation doing?" Feng Xi changed the subject.

"It's so-so. The publicity is alright, but the resources raised are limited." Yu Chen said helplessly. "On the other hand, Hou Gang's circle of people is doing very well and has already connected with many small groups that oppose the collective."

"Comrade Hou Gang does have some ability," Feng Xi nodded. "And now that the publicity has been spread, it's time to launch the welfare and opportunity industry to complement it!"

"The profitable resources are poured into the small groups that Hou Gang is stirring up, and also into the lives of the rescued tribes, turning them into our pawns!"

"A thousand years!" Feng Xi stated a timeframe. "I want to see some basic results!"

"To lay the most solid foundation for the Metropolitan Games!"

I wrote over 12000 words this morning, but I'm still not in good shape and can't write any more.
