Chapter 98 Shocked Bruce

"Has Your Excellency the War Knight just awakened?"

Bruce Wayne looked puzzled, unable to figure out who the various chairmen of the Trial Council were.

Before he arrived, he had searched for information from all sides but had never been able to discern any particularly powerful beings besides the Blood God, at least not from historical records.

The Trial Council seemed to appear out of nowhere...

"We come from another chaotic dimension!"

Both Dam and Bruce Wayne stared wide-eyed, finding it hard to believe what Lin Jue was saying.

"What does 'another dimension' refer to?"

Bruce Wayne frowned and couldn't help but interject. Even with his rich experience and quick mind, he was somewhat skeptical of what the man in front of him was saying. However, based on his personal observation of Lin Jue's current demeanor and tone, he found that Lin Jue seemed to be stating a fact!

"Lin, did you really run off to another world?"

Dam, standing to the side, couldn't help but exclaim in shock that he hadn't expected Dam to actually be right.

Dam's words seemed to confirm what Lin Jue had said, which made Bruce Wayne prick up his ears to listen carefully to what Lin Jue would say next.

"It's an existence no smaller than this universe, where there's Iron Man in his steel armor, invincible giants that can grow bigger and green, and even various gods..."

My organization is the balancing force of that world dimension. Because of the concept of multiverse, that universe is filled with countless demons and gods. Some of them can easily devour planets, some can easily annihilate all life on a planet, and some can even wipe out half of the entire universe with a snap of their fingers...

Danm gasped, his face pale. Lin Jue's words had truly frightened him; it was the first time he had ever seen Lin Jue with such a serious and earnest expression.

Bruce Wayne fared much better, though his expression remained equally grave: "Is it possible that those guys could come to our world?"

He was somewhat worried that the beings Lin Jue had mentioned, those beings that could easily destroy planets, might come to their world. Just the description alone was enough to make him feel an unparalleled sense of despair!

As for why there is such concern?

It's obvious that the Trial Council, as the entity that maintains the balance of that world's dimensions, has come to his world. He already harbors all sorts of terrible assumptions!

Lin Jue looked at Bruce Wayne's somber expression, but smiled lightly and said, "You can rest assured about that. This is something that, in the past and likely in the future, only our Inquisition Council will be able to accomplish!"

Two soft exclamations, one light and one heavy, rang out. Dam and Bruce Wayne exchanged a glance, both revealing relief in their eyes.

"Bruce, I will convey your message to the Knight. As for whether he is willing to cooperate with you, that is not up to me!"
