Chapter 438 The Frightened Vampire

"My lord, please spare me! I have no intention of being your enemy whatsoever!"

Victoria's body trembled violently. She knelt on the ground and kept praying. As Lin Jue approached, the scene from just now kept replaying in her mind.

Laurent was like an ant, completely unable to escape the clutches of the terrifying man in front of him.

Victoria saw Laurent desperately pleading and begging for help, but he couldn't make a sound. He could only watch helplessly as he turned into dust in the hands of the mysterious being. His grotesque face and the blood and tears that flowed down his face were proof of the immense pain he had endured.

Feeling no sympathy for the deceased Laurent, Victoria's thoughts were in turmoil, and she was on the verge of a mental breakdown.

"What makes you think you're qualified to be my servant?"

Raising an eyebrow, Lin Jue couldn't help but tease the clever vampire in front of him.

Seeing a glimmer of hope, Victoria immediately prostrated herself and crawled to Lin Jue's feet.

"Master, I can do it too! I was completely blinded by that guy Laurent before, I absolutely did not intend to attack you!"

Just then, someone seized the opportunity to intervene.

As Victoria watched her friend crawl towards Lin Jue, mimicking her movements, a fierce glint appeared in her eyes.

She worried that because of James, Lin Jue would abandon his kindness.

Furthermore, coupled with her previous dissatisfaction with James, Victoria now felt an urge to kill him outright.

Lin Jue glanced at the man behind him, but his expression was intriguing. His gaze passed through the trees and looked towards the Karen family on the other side, who were completely unaware of what was happening here.

"I need the two of you to attack the Cullen family. Can you do it?"

As soon as he finished speaking, James nodded in agreement, while Victoria hesitated for a moment, but quickly followed suit.

On the other side, Lin Jue, completely disregarding what the two were thinking, directly initiated the stripping.

That familiar power surged into his body once again. The previous Laurent had not been wasted. However, Lin Jue had only stripped him of his vampire nature, but had not gained any abilities. Clearly, Laurent was truly a useless person.

"Victoria, I see useful potential in you, but that's far from enough to make you my servant. You need to prove yourself!"

Turning his head to look at the blonde girl still kneeling on the ground, Lin Jue said softly.

"Master, I am willing to obey your will!"

Victoria's voice was strong and clear, her face showing an unprecedented determination.

"Of course, I won't let you die in vain. I can let you experience the power that comes with being my bloodline!"

"Your bloodline?"

At that moment, the curious Victoria felt a blur in front of her, and Lin Jue, who had been standing in front of her, suddenly appeared beside her. The slight stinging sensation made her panicked heart fall into confusion.

"Cough... Heh..."

The sound, as if choked, echoed through the dense forest. James, finally recovering, looked at Lin Jue in horror as he seemed to be sucking Victoria's blood.

He wanted to run away, but he didn't dare. He was really scared!
