Chapter 3 Gess

As night fell, New York City was ablaze with lights. A truck sped through the darkness, heading towards the bridge connecting New York City and Manhattan.

Gus took a deep drag on his cigarette, glancing occasionally at the rearview mirror, through which he could see a huge sarcophagus.

The coffin was carved with intricate patterns, skulls, swords, and countless ferocious and terrifying monster images, and the entire stone coffin was filled with an ancient and rustic atmosphere.

"This is the last time..."

Gus's eyes flickered slightly. He didn't know what was inside the sarcophagus, but he knew it must contain contraband, otherwise Ehosst wouldn't have instructed someone with a criminal record to smuggle it away.

Lin Jue, however, went straight to the car, slowly opened the door, and calmly sat down in the passenger seat.

"You don't want your mother to lose you tonight, do you?"

Gus frowned, not understanding what the Asian man in front of him was trying to achieve!

He handed one of the ultraviolet lamps directly to Gus.

"If you don't want us to die a horrible death here, keep this lamp shining on the stone coffin!"

Lin Jue then added a small spotlight to his hat, gently pressed the button on the back, and the purple light shone forward.

With a hint of urgency in his eyes, his hands reached directly towards the stone coffin.

Under the cool touch, a voice instantly rang in his mind, and a different kind of light shone in Lin Jue's eyes.

Is it really possible?

"deprivation!"

Lin Jue murmured softly, and the next moment, an invisible wave passed through his palm and traveled toward the stone coffin.

Under this invisible fluctuation, Gus, who was standing to the side, looked bewildered. From his perspective, Lin Jue simply placed his hand on the stone coffin.

The next moment, he jumped straight out of the car, while Guts, who was originally outside the car, had already run wildly towards the gate.

The loud noise had really startled him. The stone coffin, weighing over 500 kilograms, seemed to contain something terrifying. Coupled with Lin Jue's words earlier, he could no longer suppress the chilling feeling in his heart. He turned and ran, holding an ultraviolet lamp in his hand, the purple light flashing around him.
