American comics: The Savior Who Started with Vampires
Chapter 296 Conflict
Chapter 296 Conflict
Nights in America are not always peaceful, even in heavily guarded upscale luxury neighborhoods.
"Brothers, hasn't it been a while since we've done something big?"
Dark-skinned American youths shouted loudly. This was a street outside the luxury area, where a large number of American youths with their faces painted in all sorts of strange costumes had gathered.
At this moment, their atmosphere was clearly different from the surrounding crowd of people coming and going.
"Do those government police officers think this will stop us? This is free America!"
"That's right, we are all free voters!"
"God, I haven't had any income for so long!"
"Take them down!"
"Let's all attack together!"
"..."
Bang bang bang bang!
As the gunfire intensified, American agents patrolling the luxury district fell one by one into pools of blood.
Even when they saw the large influx of H people and realized something was wrong, they couldn't stop the enemy from attacking first, given the huge disparity in numbers.
Some American agents turned and ran, while pedestrians screamed and scattered, making the already chaotic scene even worse.
"Ha ha!"
"Alas~"
"Hooray for free America!"
Amidst the deafening commotion, a police officer, wounded in the leg, struggled to crawl behind a concealed bunker, his face filled with anger and fear. Normally, if he were to encounter those guys alone, he would have emptied his magazine immediately.
He knew he shouldn't let his guard down against those people in the slightest!
I thought patrolling the luxury district would be a good job, and I was even collecting a lot of "protection money" along the way, but I never expected to fail today.
The attack was sudden and without warning. Most of them were dark-skinned and seemed to have planned it. After taking down all the police officers, they smashed the glass door of the luxury store.
They filed in.
The man had to admit that even with specially assigned patrol officers, the wave of free shopping in America couldn't be stopped. And it seemed that as the officers were injured and fell to the ground, other American youths who were watching the spectacle also joined in the free shopping spree.
In an instant, the once quiet and peaceful luxury district became chaotic due to the influx of huge crowds.
At this moment, in a luxury goods exhibition area of Chanel, the intense gunfire made the girls, who were overwhelmed by the sights, instinctively crouch down and hide themselves behind cover.
"Shit, what are they doing?"
Seeing such a crazy scene for the first time, Bella was somewhat incredulous. Catherine, standing next to her, tightly clutched the N°5 perfume she had been looking at earlier. At the prompting of the booth staff, she had been immediately captivated by its alluring fragrance.
Even a sudden gunfight couldn't stop her from loving it, and she kept it in her hands.
Soon, the commotion reached the Chanel display area. Led by a dark-skinned young man, they frantically swept through all the visible merchandise on the display cases, while the sales staff at the booth held their hands above their heads, their faces filled with fear and pleading, not daring to move an inch.
Soon, they arrived at the area where Eve and the others were. A dark-skinned youth looked at Sanhao, who was standing in front of Eve and the others with an expressionless face, and was slightly taken aback.
Unlike the other customers in the luxury goods exhibition area, these guys weren't afraid of them at all. This situation actually fueled his anger. Originally, he only intended to rob them outright, but now his thoughts had changed.
"Hey! Man! Kneel down, or I'll blow your head off!"
The young man from H shouted curses. As he approached, he suddenly saw a group of female students behind Sanhao. Their youthful exuberance and fair skin made his eyes light up. In particular, there was a black-haired girl with delicate, watery eyes and a pure face that exuded an alluring charm.
A certain DNA within the young man's body stirred, and his reaction caught the attention of several other H-person youths who had looted all the luxury goods.
"Brother, hurry! We need to be quick, those bastards will be here soon!"
A muscular man with a black cloth covering his face strode up to the young man, but the young man had a disgusting smile on his face, revealing a pair of white teeth.
"Boss, I saw a nice girl. Maybe we can help her get out of this mess!"
A hand pointed to Eve, who was hiding behind the Third Horn, with a hint of anger in her eyes.
The H-people youths nearby also noticed what was happening.
He glanced at them with a surprised look, but remained standing in front of the girls, seemingly playing the role of their protector.
Click!
The burly young man cocked his pistol and, with a sinister grin on his face, pointed the muzzle at No. 3's head.
His men surrounded the area, while three other young men stared at the Eternal Night security personnel standing on the other side, their eyes deep and unfathomable.
"Kneel down! Man! You don't want me to blow your head off, do you? You should understand the saying 'the nail that sticks out gets hammered down.'"
Looking around, including the original security guards of the luxury store, they were all kneeling on the ground with their hands behind their heads, looking as if they dared not resist.
Looking at Sanhao in front of him, a bright smile appeared on his face, causing the burly young man to unconsciously furrow his brow.
Suddenly, he seemed to notice something—his pupils contracted slightly—and then, without hesitation, he pulled the trigger.
boom!
The muffled gunshot startled everyone in the luxury store, causing them to scream. The young black man who had been there earlier stared in astonishment at his boss, who hadn't expected him to fire directly.
However, the scene before him terrified him even more.
He fired at such close range, yet he still missed the guy.
Slowly pulling his head back from the side, Sanhao's face held a strange smile. Then, he suddenly rushed towards the group of H-people youths who were still in shock and hadn't reacted yet.
Meanwhile, the Eternal Night security personnel, who had previously remained inactive, launched an attack.
Everyone in the luxury goods district lay prone on the ground, unable to bear the chaotic scene, the piercing gunshots mingling with screams of agony.
In just half a minute, the store, which had been filled with curses, shouts and wails, fell silent.
The person in charge of the store peeked out to investigate the situation inside, but what he saw made him instantly paralyzed with fear.
Several heads rolled haphazardly inside the luxuriously decorated store, the sacks the rioters used to carry the luxury goods lay scattered to one side, and the man they thought would die a horrible death at the hands of the rioting H men returned unharmed to the girls' side.
"Let's go... This should have been a pleasant time, but instead we've encountered such a nasty situation..."
Sanhao said nonchalantly, and what shocked the shop assistants once again was that the group of girls seemed to be completely unsurprised by what was happening in front of them.
Aside from a few girls who frowned slightly, the prettiest one even carefully examined the head on the ground, revealing a pleased expression.
Who exactly are these people?
Amidst the fearful gazes of the shop assistants, Sanhao led the girls out of the shop with an air of nonchalance.
Soon, screams and chaotic gunshots echoed from the streets outside.
"monster!"
"Holy shit!"
"..."
Terrified screams and shouts came from outside the street, and it wasn't until the urgent sirens of police blared that the shop assistants snapped out of their daze.
Upon seeing the police officers rushing into the store, he frantically raised his hands and loudly proclaimed his innocence, claiming that he had not killed any of the people in front of him.
However, the FBI agents who stormed in clearly knew something. They ignored the frightened employees and went straight to the back room of the store, erasing all the information recorded by the security cameras.
……
Black cars bearing the "Eternal Night" logo sped along the streets of New York's central avenue.
Sitting in the passenger seat, Sanhao could see Catherine and the others talking amongst themselves through the rearview mirror.
"God, I always thought America was a free and wonderful country, but I was wrong today. The British newspapers don't say that!"
Catherine's face was full of disappointment. What happened today had ruined her good mood. Now she seemed to understand why the restrictions on mutant students at the Eternal Night Academy continued until graduation.
One moment everything was fine, the next a gunfight broke out!
"Eve, why are you so calm!"
Catherine looked at Eve sitting by the window, gazing out the window in a daze, and asked in bewilderment.
During the previous conflict, Eve did not seem to show any discomfort. Even though the scene of their coach taking action made Catherine's stomach churn violently, the gentle and weak Eve did not show any signs of discomfort.
This is such a stark contrast! Shouldn't we switch our mindsets?
"Huh? I think those guys deserved it..."
Eve blinked, looking at her with an expression that said, "That's just how it should be."
Sanhao glanced subtly at the rearview mirror again.
The moment that young black man spoke of wanting Eve, he sensed an incomparably terrifying aura. Eve, this seemingly harmless girl, was the "heir" chosen by the First Ancestor!
His action was indeed a good outcome; at least it only resulted in the deaths of those who had offended him. Otherwise, who knows what might have happened.
"I've already reported the situation here to His Excellency the Grand Duke, and he's made arrangements. Let's head back to the Eternal Night District tonight!"
Sanhao's gaze was fixed on the road ahead, illuminated by streetlights, as police cars whizzed past them.
……
As the second wave of police officers stormed into the Chanel section, they pinned him to the platform amidst the bewildered gazes of the sales staff.
"We need your monitoring data!"
The leader had a stern expression and spoke very quickly.
"Monitoring data?"
The waiter looked puzzled: "Didn't you take it with you earlier?"
"What?"
