Chapter 334 - Departure

Upon hearing Ron's words, Azure Star nodded thoughtfully. Without any pause, she immediately murmured in her heart, "Guangzhi, save me."

Then, just as intense life energy surged forth from his body. As his strength increased, Azure Star could clearly feel his overall condition rising at an astonishing rate.

No, it's not just about my own condition. There's also the 'Black Dragon'.

On its forehead and chest, the massive single eye of the Black Dragon Heavy Armor widened continuously, while the vertical pupil within it shrank steadily. Flame-like patterns continuously emerged from the eyeball, then spread outwards along the armor surrounding it, forming blazing lines.

Instinctively lowering her center of gravity, Azure Star felt a new consciousness emerge within her. This consciousness had no power to challenge control of her body; it merely resided parasitically within Azure Star's consciousness. Even so, Azure Star could still clearly feel the desolation of her fate.

Black Dragon...?

Thinking this to himself, Azure Star narrowed his eyes slightly. He wasn't in a hurry to reject it. To Azure Star, this was simply another form of power. Although other ancient dragon species didn't represent misfortune and the end like the black dragon, it wouldn't affect Azure Star's fighting spirit in the slightest.

In fact, it was quite the opposite. If before, Azure Star was merely wearing and using the armor, now he could clearly feel that he was no longer using the armor. Rather, the armor had become a part of him. Every single scale felt as if it had grown from his own flesh and blood.

"I am a dragon?... That's fine too."

As he thought this, Azure Star lowered his head, the armor on his head stretched forward, and the huge helmet covered his head, forming a shape like a dragon's head.

Immediately following, its wings suddenly unfurled, accompanied by a surging storm. High-pressure airflow formed vacuum blades that spread outwards. Under the intense air reflux, an invisible guillotine seemed to appear around Azure Star, shredding the countless swarms of insects that fell into it!

With a flap of its wings, almost instantly upon takeoff, Azure Star unleashed a deafening roar, accompanied by a sonic boom cloud, before transforming into a streak of black light and disappearing into the sky. Before anyone could even process what was happening, it paused briefly, then abruptly turned its sword, striking downwards like a sharp blade!

Rumble! ...

The clouds in the sky were cracking and churning at a speed visible to the naked eye. The violent backflow of air swirled the clouds downwards, giving the impression that the entire sky was constantly falling.

Realizing something was wrong, Mechagodzilla tilted its head back and unleashed a proton shriek. But before it could even touch Azure Star's body, the life energy surrounding it neutralized most of it. The dark, mottled dragonbone greatsword, like Azure Star's body, reflected lava-like patterns. With each beat of Azure Star's heart, the faint light around it and on the greatsword flickered, giving the impression that it too was breathing in sync with its heartbeat.

Sizzle!

Just as Godzilla's atomic breath was split by the swarm of death, the current proton shriek is being split in the same way.

The swarm of death, seeing their buddy was about to suffer a terrible fate, naturally dared not act. Unfortunately, the split swarm's attempt to break through the storm surrounding Azure Star was nothing but a pipe dream, let alone even touching Azure Star itself.

Realizing its perilous situation, Mechagodzilla didn't hesitate. It turned and began to spin rapidly, its arms moving like a tunnel boring machine, digging at the ground at an astonishing speed to evade Azure Star's powerful attack. Unfortunately for Mechagodzilla, Godzilla and Kong weren't just standing by. With the Death Horde disintegrating and their main body nowhere to be found, they had nothing to do. A lone Mechagodzilla standing there was bound to attract their attention!

With a roar, King Kong launched a flying attack, knocking Mechagodzilla to the ground. Godzilla itself wasn't idle either, letting out a low growl and unleashing a powerful atomic breath that struck Mechagodzilla squarely. However, due to the World Virus, although severely injured, Mechagodzilla hadn't lost its power. Seeing this, Godzilla leaped and slammed into Mechagodzilla. Unable to dodge due to its impaired movement, Mechagodzilla let out a devastating roar. But the sound barely lingered before it was decapitated by a sword strike from Azure Star that descended from the sky!

Rumble! ...

The moment they landed, the surging sword pressure rippled outwards, and the rolling air currents caused even ordinary living beings, such as Godzilla and King Kong, to sway, clearly indicating that they were seriously injured.

And the swarms of insects flying everywhere were even worse. In the blink of an eye, nearly two-thirds of the dark swarm in the sky disappeared, leaving only a few stronger individuals struggling to fly in the air.

Seeing this, Godzilla's eyes widened, and after a moment, it seemed to have discovered something, raising its head and letting out a roar. Immediately afterward, in the primeval forests of Yunnan, vast amounts of golden scales emitted a subtle glow—this was Mothra's scales. Or rather, Mothra's secretions. Just as Behemoth's secretions could rapidly heal damaged jungles, Mothra's presence could strengthen the coastal areas' resistance to typhoons and floods. And the reason it could achieve this was because of the ubiquitous scales.

Now, accompanied by chaotic air currents, scales rose into the air. Without hesitation, Godzilla tilted its head back and unleashed another atomic breath. However, unlike before, this atomic breath was much finer, giving the impression of simply detonating something—like scales!

Upon contact with Godzilla's atomic breath, the scales in the sky seemed to undergo a violent chemical reaction. The energy bonds between atoms surged restlessly, and with a rumbling sound, large swaths of scales exploded into golden halos. Almost instantly, the entire sky brightened, as if a nighttime fireworks display had begun ahead of schedule.

As the flames dissipated, the already dwindling swarm in the air suffered another severe blow. With the death of one of the insects, or rather the Swarm Queen, the remaining insects that had been buzzing in the sky began to plummet to the ground like drones that had lost their power and balance.

With the battle over, both Titans relaxed abruptly. King Kong, in particular, collapsed to the ground completely unprepared.

Even with Ron's help in restoring his severed arm, the subsequent fatigue did not disappear. If there was any difference, it was that King Kong sensed something slightly different in this hazy state—he experienced a completely new kind of power, and this experience itself was a tremendous treasure.

Just like Azure Star, although it was depleted of energy and returned to normal, the experience it had just had was very rewarding.

"What kind of power is that?"

"It's yours."

In response to Azure Star's question, Ron calmly replied, "I rarely bestow my power upon someone in a truly meaningful way, because such a gift also represents a kind of connection. What you just did was similar to forcing growth, allowing you to experience for a short period of time the power form and development direction of the next stage of your current path."

"Of course, the future holds infinite possibilities, so this is just one possibility. I won't go into details; you can experience it for yourself."

As he spoke, Ron looked up at the distant horizon and added, "King Ghidorah is heading this way. Instead of chatting with me, why don't you take a good rest?"

Upon hearing this, Azure Star nodded, then took out the skull of the giant lizard to sharpen the blade, beginning preparations for the next battle.

Upon learning from the pheromones of Azure Star that King Ghidorah was on its way, Godzilla's eyes flickered a few times. After a brief silence, it walked toward the Monarch outpost to the side.

Judging from his stance, it was clear he realized he was no match for King Ghidorah—his previous victories against King Ghidorah had been largely due to luck. Although he had the upper hand in the battle on the sea, in the second battle, if it weren't for Mothra's enchantment, the final outcome would have been uncertain. And based on the situation at the time, Ghidorah clearly had a higher probability of winning.

Now, King Ghidorah has returned, and strengthened by those abominable creatures, it's even more menacing. Godzilla, without a word, immediately slipped into his girlfriend's bedroom. Looking at his little wife, still in her pupa, a hint of human-like flattery appeared on his lizard-like face.

The specific meaning is nothing more than wife, hunger, and food.

Although still in her loli form, Mothra has amassed considerable wealth through countless reincarnations. Without further ado, a large amount of scales immediately adhered to Godzilla's body in the lair. This accelerated her recovery and enhanced her various abilities; when necessary, a mere small flame would be enough to unleash Godzilla's full power.

Somewhat unexpectedly, the speed and intensity of the fusion between the World Virus and Ghidorah increased remarkably quickly. However, upon reflection, this didn't seem unusual. After all, Ghidorah was arguably one of the most powerful monsters in the Legendary Monsters universe. Even Mechagodzilla, the final boss of Godzilla vs. Kong 1, was created using one of Ghidorah's skulls as its core. And now, it was clear that the World Virus had also placed its bets on Ghidorah's true form. This meant that Ghidorah, which Ron had initially predicted would arrive in two hours, landed in the Yunnan rainforest in just over an hour and twenty minutes.

However, Godzilla and the others were not alarmed as they watched Ghidorah land; instead, they grinned.

After all, this wasn't a one-on-one situation like before. Godzilla had replenished its energy; in fact, due to the brutality of the upcoming battle, the excessive radiation energy within its body caused its dorsal fins to emit a pink halo. While King Kong remained largely unchanged, its body was now covered in a layer of Mothra's scales.

Godzilla remained calm in the face of this—as the Queen of Monsters, Mothra's scales weren't exclusive to Godzilla. All behemoths could be enchanted, strengthened, and used by them. Especially when facing a powerful enemy like this, behemoths didn't harbor any jealousy.

Seeing the two Titan beasts standing like gatekeepers, Ghidorah quickly realized something was wrong. Especially after seeing the corpses of its two comrades, it swiftly decided to retreat. Before even landing, it prepared to take off again.

But before his wings could even begin to flap, Godzilla, who had been plotting for so long, ignited the hidden scales in the air. With the explosion of the scales, Ghidorah's tattered wings could no longer provide enough lift, and it crashed uncontrollably to the ground.

The scene that followed was simple. The two giant beasts pounced and landed in a flying slam, King Kong's fists, as large as skyscrapers, pounded wildly on King Ghidorah's chest, flesh and blood splattering everywhere, the sounds of breaking bones echoing incessantly. Godzilla, meanwhile, simply stepped on the joint where King Ghidorah's three heads were connected by their necks. Then, it grabbed their heads with both hands, tilted its head back, and unleashed a pink atomic breath to wash their faces.

After a brutal attack, Azure Star, standing to the side, also wielded a large blade and chopped off the three heads one by one, then used a global virus to thoroughly eliminate them, ensuring they would never revive.

Seeing King Ghidorah die tragically once again under the bullying of the outnumbered forces, Ron shook his head with a sigh, then signaled to Azure Star that the mission was over.

Upon receiving Ron's message, Azure Star did not linger. After glancing at King Kong and Godzilla again, he reminded them via bio-hormones, "Don't argue," before following Ron to click to end the mission and disappear into the Beast Universe.

As the floating warship crashed to the ground, King Kong and Godzilla, seeing the two figures disappear, scratched their heads in bewilderment. King Kong was genuinely confused, while Godzilla stared at King Kong for a while, then glanced at the corpse on the ground. With a few low growls, it turned and left to go and kiss and hug its little girl girlfriend, without the expected King Kong vs. Godzilla battle.

Although he didn't understand what Godzilla meant, King Kong didn't care anymore. Because there was a large hole not far away where Godzilla had appeared, he hesitated for a moment at the edge, then instinctively crawled into it, heading towards his home in the Earth's core.

Back in the base universe, Ron immediately called Ciri over and asked her to help arrange accommodations on Azure Star. Then, he clicked on his emergency mission: Negative Multiverse.
