Chapter 87 Superman: Batman actually made me bleed!

The real world.

Jiangcheng, engrossed in scrolling through short videos, suddenly had a sudden, unexpected spark in his eyes.

Because he came across another short video related to American comics.

[Batman: Tell me, Superman, do you bleed? Superman: Why don't you try it yourself and see?]

Chu Chu Chu!

In the pitch-black night.

Batman is driving the Batmobile, speeding through the streets.

However, just as they rounded a bend, they saw a towering figure standing in front of them.

They blocked Batman's path.

It was none other than Superman.

Batman, on his vehicle, saw Superman ahead but showed no intention of slowing down.

Instead, he gritted his teeth and slammed on the gas pedal.

The Batmobile crashed into Superman.

But Superman is Superman after all. Despite being hit so hard by the Batmobile, he didn't budge an inch, not even a sway.

It was as if a gentle breeze had brushed past me.

boom!

Instead, the Batmobile seemed to have crashed into a wall and was bounced away in an instant.

He crashed into a wall like a drunkard.

It was forced to stop.

Superman then walked calmly and steadily to the front of the Batmobile.

He grabbed the two car doors with both hands and gently pushed.

They tore off the two car doors and threw them out like trash.

Judging from this situation, Superman came specifically to deal with Batman!

What about Batman?

He stood up fearlessly and stood face to face with Superman.

Two of the most iconic superheroes in the DC universe have now come to a fierce confrontation.

The atmosphere at the scene instantly became tense.

"If they shine your lights in the sky again, don't respond."

Superman, in a low, solemn tone, warned Batman, "The bat is dead. Bury it, as a sign of my mercy!"

After saying that, Superman ignored Batman and turned to leave with an air of superiority.

"tell me!"

But just then, Batman's voice came from behind.

Batman's gaze, hidden beneath his mask, deepened, and his voice grew even more powerful.

He asked Superman a question that went straight to the soul.

Will you bleed?

With this statement, the atmosphere at the scene became even more tense.

The tension could no longer be suppressed.

Even the blindest person could see that Superman and Batman don't get along.

boom!

Superman completely ignored Batman and flew away.

Only a sonic boom echoed through the scene.

"You will!"

Batman looked up in the direction Superman had left and uttered these words heavily.

At this point, the camera angle changed.

In front of a building that was almost in ruins, Superman lay on the ground like a dead dog.

Batman, however, held a green-glowing spear and walked step by step toward Superman.

"You were never a god!"

Batman stood in front of Superman, looking down at him, and then stepped on Superman's chest.

They trampled Superman underfoot like a dead dog.

Superman clenched his teeth and struggled desperately to break free from Batman's feet, but all his efforts were in vain.

They couldn't break free at all.

"You weren't even human!"

After uttering those words through gritted teeth, Batman picked up his spear and slashed it across Superman's face.

laugh!

A bloody wound was immediately cut open.

Superman is bleeding!

……

Marvel Universe 199999.

Tony couldn't help but shake his head inwardly.

Batman v Superman and similar scenarios do exist in many DC comics.

However, Tony did not expect that even in the real world, the two would still engage in a final war.

Tony had no idea what the specific reason was, and he wasn't sure if it was the same as the plot in the comics.

But did Batman in the real world actually defeat Superman?

Of course.

Given Batman's personality and abilities, Tony wouldn't be too surprised if the other side really defeated Superman.

After all, anyone who has read DC comics knows one thing: you can fight Batman, but you can't challenge Batman to a duel.

You might be able to beat Batman in a fight, but if you challenge him to a duel, you're guaranteed to lose.

Given enough time to prepare, Batman could easily defeat even Superman.

That's what Batman is capable of.

Even in the corresponding Batman v Superman comic, Batman still defeated Superman, didn't he?

Tony was not surprised by this result.

What surprised him was that Batman in the real world defeated Superman way too easily.

Instead of turning himself into Doomsday, he simply grabbed a kryptonite gun?

That's a bit ridiculous, isn't it?

That's Superman!

The absolute pinnacle of power in the DC Universe.

In terms of individual strength alone, Batman is no match for Superman; they are not even ants.

With such a huge gap, can a mere kryptonite gun really bridge it?

Having read the comics and knowing Superman's specific background and strength, Tony found it all rather unbelievable.

"Could it be that Batman has other methods prepared?"

After some deep thought, Tony could only make this guess.

After all, the spoilers on the big screen only revealed the outcome of the battle between Batman and Superman.

The process in between is not shown at all.

Perhaps Batman has prepared many other methods besides the Kryptonite gun.

Regardless, this is Batman.

But what Tony didn't know was that things weren't actually as he guessed.

The only reason Batman was able to defeat Superman was because of a few Kryptonite bullets; he really had nothing else to offer.

Even the Kryptonite gun that ultimately caused Superman to bleed was never used during the entire battle!

Ultimately, it wasn't that Batman was superior, but rather that Superman never intended to fight Batman.

Otherwise, even ten Batmen would be dead.

……

DC Extended Universe.

Clark's brow furrowed slightly.

He found it hard to understand, and he was also somewhat unwilling to accept it.

Why did I and Batman end up in such an opposing position?

Batman is clearly a good guy!

The infamous Dark Knight of Gotham City spends his life fighting crime and upholding justice for the city's ordinary citizens.

You could say he was doing the same thing as Clark.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he's a kindred spirit of Clark!

Why would Clark lay a hand on someone like that?

Previously, spoilers of a battle between Batman and himself had appeared on the big screen, and Clark had even speculated at the time that Batman might be the one attacking him.

After all, Clark believed he wouldn't lay a hand on Batman.

However, Clark now realizes he was wrong!

The big screen clearly revealed that he was the one who threatened Batman first!

Why did I do that?

"Why would I threaten Batman!"

Clark's forehead was practically covered in a series of question marks.

Even Clark on the big screen felt unfamiliar to him.

Threatening others?

This isn't like me at all!

"Perhaps it's that guy wearing the bat helmet that makes you feel like he's a threat."

"To make you feel that it is necessary to do this."

Jor-El's voice rang out beside me; the ultimate artificial intelligence from Krypton had made this judgment.

Will it be like this?

Clark fell into deep thought.

Could it be that Batman isn't what he seems on the surface?

Does this person actually have another face behind the scenes?

A face that made him feel the need to confront and threaten him?

Clark had no idea the answer.

Moreover, even if Batman really does have a second face, as one might imagine,

Clark didn't intend to do anything either.

That's not Clark's style.

Clark does help others, but he only steps in at critical moments when major disasters occur.

To save those whose lives are in danger.

In other words, it is the duty to save those who are already in need.

Apart from that, Clark doesn't interfere much in other matters.

Clark probably won't know why he would threaten Batman on the big screen until things get to that point.

Of course.

Clark is currently more concerned with another issue than this one.

He was actually defeated by Batman?

How could this be!

How could such a thing be possible!

He's a Kryptonian, after all!

Given the capabilities of Kryptonians, they would be a force to be reckoned with against Earthlings, practically gods.

Didn't the big screen say before that it was a god among men?

In the end, the gods were defeated by humans?

If it weren't for the spoilers on the big screen that led him to Jor-El, Clark would never have believed it.

Even now, it still feels somewhat unreal.

Clark thought about it carefully again. There shouldn't be any weapons on Earth that could harm him.

Could it be that Batman has developed some new weapon?

"That must be it!"

Clark felt he had grasped the crux of the problem.

Didn't the big screen clearly spoil the plot? Batman used that green spear to slash a wound on his face.

Batman actually made himself bleed.

"Father, what exactly is that green spear?"

"It actually managed to break through my skin!"

Clark then turned his questioning gaze toward Joe Al, who was standing to the side.

Unfortunately, Joe Al couldn't offer Clark any answer to this question either.

After all, Kryptonite is formed from fragments of Krypton's explosion.

In other words, that's something that appeared after Jor-El left Krypton; there's no way Jor-El would know about it.

"I'm also very curious about this question."

Joe Al also expressed his doubts, saying, "With the civilization on this planet, they shouldn't have been able to create such a weapon."

Clark glanced at Joe Al with some surprise.

Joe Al's vast database has always been virtually omniscient.

He was basically able to answer all of Clark's questions.

Even if Joe Al couldn't give specific answers to some questions, he could always offer some explanations.

Especially regarding things from less advanced civilizations, Joe-El, with his superior perspective, could analyze them in general terms.

It's quite rare to see a situation like this where we know absolutely nothing.

"It seems you've underestimated Earth's civilization."

Clark let out a soft sigh.

Earth isn't just home to super-fast speedsters like The Flash, who even Kryptonians find troublesome; there's also Batman, who can trample you underfoot.

There are many other powerful "suspects" whose existence from other universes cannot be definitively determined.

All of this demonstrates that the Earth is not as weak as it appears on the surface.

"It seems so."

Joe Al nodded in agreement.

Wayne Manor.

While Clark was puzzled and questioned his motives for threatening Batman, Bruce was absolutely convinced of his actions.

He firmly believed that since he himself on the big screen had taken action against Superman, there must be a good reason for it!

In addition, Bruce had long considered Superman, an alien with great power, as a huge potential threat.

Therefore, for Bruce, the only remaining question he is most concerned about after seeing this spoiler is...

How exactly did he defeat Superman?

He finally broke through Superman's skin, leaving a green mark on Superman's face. What was that?

But no matter what that thing is, I have to find it!

Bruce made the decision with almost no hesitation.

"Afu!"

Bruce immediately turned his gaze to the old butler beside him. "Have you found the people I asked you to find?"

"Young Master Wayne, if I haven't told you anything, it means we haven't found it."

Alfred adjusted his glasses and gave Bruce this answer: "I even doubt whether those people even exist, but that doesn't change your mind, right?"

Ah Fu knew his young master all too well; he was a guy who was almost too steady.

Although there is currently no evidence to prove that the video on the big screen is real, for young Master Wayne, it is better to believe it than not.

Even if there's only a one percent chance it's true, we'll treat it as if it were.

"Yes, Afu."

Bruce admitted it directly, "So those people need to keep looking, and besides that, I need you to help me investigate something else."

"That spear that glows green, right?"

Bruce didn't even need to say anything; Ah Fu, who knew his young master well, had already learned to answer first.

"That's right, it's that spear."

Bruce nodded emphatically. "If it doesn't exist, that's fine, but if it does, we absolutely must find it!"

For such a long time, Bruce tried to analyze Superman's weaknesses, but to no avail.

No matter how much he analyzed it, he only felt more and more that Superman was invincible.

Now that a weakness of Superman has finally been found, how could Bruce possibly miss it?
