I was watching American comic book short videos, and at the beginning, Iron Man was breaking down.
Chapter 40 Bruce felt a great threat
Chapter 40 Bruce felt a great threat
"General Zod, this is an extremely dangerous fellow."
Meeting Clark's gaze, Joe Al began to speak slowly and deliberately, looking extremely serious.
Clark, who was standing next to him, immediately frowned.
Even someone like Joel described him as "extremely dangerous," so General Zod must be a very formidable figure.
"He was the military leader of Krypton, and an ambitious man who launched a military rebellion on Krypton, but ultimately failed."
Joe Al's voice rang out again, introducing General Zod to Clark.
This gave Clark a more concrete understanding of General Zod.
Those capable of launching a military rebellion are certainly not ordinary people.
"However, after the rebellion failed, Zod and his confidants were captured and imprisoned in the Phantom Zone."
Joe Al continued to introduce Clark.
"Phantom Zone?" Clark raised an eyebrow.
"That's a super prison on Krypton; even someone like General Zod couldn't escape it."
Joe Al was quite confident about this, after all, he personally designed the Phantom Zone.
"Then why is General Zod on Earth?"
Clark expressed some doubt.
Do you believe this video?
Joe Al glanced at Clark. "Theoretically speaking, Zod should still be locked up in the Phantom Zone."
"This video led me to you."
Clark gave a very affirmative answer: "Are you sure General Zod really won't run away?"
Upon being asked this question by Clark, Joe Al fell into deep thought, and his expression soon changed.
Clearly, Joe Al had something on his mind.
"Under normal circumstances, this would be impossible, but not long after Zod was imprisoned, Krypton was destroyed."
"And the Phantom Zone's power source comes from Krypton!"
"Joe Al said to Clark in a deep voice."
Clark's expression also changed slightly.
If that's the case, then General Zod has already escaped.
So, will the scenario of General Zod invading Earth, as revealed in this video, actually happen?
Will the same battle I fought against General Zod happen again?
Clark immediately felt immense pressure.
"Even if General Zod does escape, you don't need to worry too much."
Joe Al, however, was much more optimistic than Clark, saying, "The video shows that you defeated General Zod."
"It was a hard-fought victory, but that's far from enough."
Clark shook his head; he couldn't accept this outcome. "The Earth has been damaged; this is not the result I wanted."
"Then let's change this outcome; we still have a chance."
That's what Joe Al said to Clark.
Clark looked at Joe Al with a questioning gaze, unable to see where his opportunity lay.
"Karl, the sun on this planet is younger and more vibrant than the sun on Krypton."
"Your cells absorb its radiation, which can make you stronger."
"If you make sufficient preparations in advance, I believe that even Zod will be defeated by you."
"You will become what is described here... 'God among men'."
Joe Al spoke earnestly to Clark.
This wasn't him comforting Clark; it was his heartfelt opinion.
A god among men?
Clark couldn't help but feel a secret excitement.
It wasn't because Clark's vanity was satisfied; after all, Clark's character and morality were impeccable, even more perfect than Captain America's.
Clark helped others not out of a desire for praise, but simply out of kindness.
Clark was excited because the title meant he had gained recognition from others.
The thing that his adoptive father Jonathan on Earth was worried about did not happen!
Earthlings did not reject Clark because he was different!
This is what Clark truly cares about and is concerned with.
"What should I do?"
After putting his thoughts aside, Clark immediately asked Joe Al the crucial question.
"train."
Joe Al gave a firm and resounding answer: "You're strong enough, but not enough. You can't even fly yet."
"However, sunshine is your advantage. Although I am a scientist, not a soldier, this is your home turf."
"I believe Zod will not be a problem."
Do you train?
Clark pondered for a moment, but ultimately agreed.
I am indeed not strong enough right now!
In the face of the impending threat from General Zod, he had no better option than to become even stronger.
Wayne Manor.
Bruce's expression was quite grim.
He already considered Superman, Homelander, and other characters like Quicksilver and the Flash as "major threats."
After all, those people possessed power that was far too overpowered.
If it turns to evil, modern society's defense systems are simply unable to cope with it.
In other words, those people are potential threats!
Given Bruce's personality, he always approaches any potential threat with extreme caution.
They should all be treated as hypothetical enemies.
They even need to know their corresponding weaknesses to feel at ease.
Not to mention, the video even shows that he had fought with Superman!
This made Bruce even more uneasy, and he even started thinking about how to deal with Superman.
But to be honest, Superman is indeed too overpowered, too invincible.
To this day, Bruce still hasn't found an effective way to deal with Superman.
This was already giving Bruce a headache.
Now the big screen is telling him that yet another dangerous guy has appeared!
Besides Superman, Cyclops, and Homelander, General Zod has appeared!
Although the video spoilers that General Zod was Superman's enemy and was ultimately killed by Superman.
But in Bruce's eyes, there was no real difference between Superman and General Zod.
What grudges these aliens have, or why they're fighting amongst themselves, is none of Bruce's business, and he doesn't care at all.
What he cares about is that these people pose a huge threat to the Earth.
The battle between just two people caused such enormous damage to the city!
That was truly shocking.
Possessing such terrifying and unbelievable power, what if Superman and his ilk one day turn their attention to Earth?
Has war been declared on Earth?
Who can withstand it!
Earth is facing an unimaginable crisis!
Bruce felt an increasing sense of urgency and a tremendous sense of crisis.
