Legend of the Dragon King: I am Genshin Impact

Chapter 42 A Special Triangular Relationship

The classes in Class Zero were incredibly boring; for Feng Zixi, writing novels and drawing comics were far more interesting.

So Feng Zixi simply moved his comic drawing equipment into the classroom, and drew comics while others studied.

Interestingly, everyone in Class Zero, including Wu Changkong, became fans of Feng Zixi's work. Her "Fox Spirit Matchmaker" made several future tough guys cry their eyes out.

Because they had cried together, their relationship gradually improved. Although Xie Xie was the most immature and had the most minor flaws among them, he was also the least vengeful. Although he initially wanted to give Zhang Yangzi and Wang Jinxi the middle finger every day, he slowly became friends with them.

Because Xie Xie always felt that hanging out with Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, and Feng Zixi was like being fed dog food (a Chinese slang term for witnessing public displays of affection). To Xie Xie, their love triangle was far too complicated. He simply couldn't understand who liked whom.

Feng Zixi is like a central air conditioner; she's nicer to everyone except Gu Yue. Gu Yue initially only had eyes for Feng Zixi, but slowly started developing a love-hate relationship with Tang Wulin. Feng Zixi sometimes gets jealous too.

It's normal for Feng Zixi to be jealous, but what's abnormal is that Tang Wulin doesn't seem to want to talk to Gu Yue, and instead keeps getting closer to Feng Zixi. Then Gu Yue gets jealous of Tang Wulin because he's too close to Feng Zixi.

The love relationship between these three people shocked Xie Xie for eight hundred years. With his pseudo-love master cultivation, he couldn't understand this magical love triangle at all!

You could understand one man and two women as a harem. But two men and one woman... it just feels a bit disgusting...

That's why, although Xie Xie still had the best relationship with the three of them, he didn't like to hang out with them anymore. What if... this peculiar little circle turned into four people? Xie Xie really couldn't imagine that scenario.

Before we knew it, the time for the first semester final exams of first grade had arrived.

In the past three months, under Wu Changkong's guidance, all members of Class Zero have made great progress!

Tang Wulin's improvement was the most obvious besides Gu Yue's! He went from level twelve to level fifteen in three months!

Gu Yue's improvement is obviously unreasonable. He went from level 15 when he first entered the school to level 23 now!

Of course, no one else knew, except for Feng Zixi and Gu Yue, who were very close.

While leveling up is generally fast for Soul Masters in the early stages, the absurd leveling speed of Gu Yue would likely terrify many. Her speed is comparable to Feng Zixi's.

Feng Zixi has also made significant progress in these three months. Due to her conscious training and use of the power of the Rock King Emperor, her template has unlocked another 1%, reaching a level of 16%. The soul power boost brought about by the template's improvement has also elevated Feng Zixi's soul power to a new level.

Materials: 100 fish meat, 100 animal meat, 100 poultry meat

In just three months, Feng Zixi went from level 25 to level 28! This speed is just as unreasonable as Gu Yue's.

Gu Yue was helpless. He already possessed strength; he was simply unleashing what he already had. However, Feng Zixi had clearly cultivated her strength bit by bit, yet her rate of improvement was still much faster than his…

It wasn't that Gu Yue couldn't level up faster, but the main problem was... she was afraid of attracting attention if she leveled up too quickly. Even after reaching level twenty-three, Gu Yue didn't dare tell anyone. To outsiders, Gu Yue only said that she had just reached level twenty-one, and Feng Zixi was the only one who knew Gu Yue's true level.

Inside the classroom of Class One, Feng Zixi was bored and playing sticky with the wind sprite Wendy. She asked Wu Changkong with a hint of helplessness, "Hey, Teacher Wu, I understand that Tang Wulin and the others need to take their final exams, but... do I also have to take my final exams at the Spirit Ascension Platform? The Elementary Spirit Ascension Platform... even a chaotic Elementary Spirit Ascension Platform, I can just smash through it..."

Over the course of three months, Feng Zixi entered the Spirit Ascension Platform eleven times with Class Zero. Besides these experiences, she had also entered a similar device used by the Tang Sect before entering Donghai Academy, so she was very familiar with it. If food wasn't a concern, Feng Zixi could practically live inside the Spirit Ascension Platform!

Wu Changkong pondered for a moment, "You don't need to take the assessment, but you still need to go to the Spirit Ascension Platform. Right now you only have one soul spirit, which is the best time to increase its age. It will be more troublesome to increase its age once you have more soul spirits!"

"Whoosh! Whoosh whoosh!!" Wendy fluttered her little wings, flying from Feng Zixi's palm to her head, playfully tugging at her hair. Wendy valued her advancement in years of cultivation extremely highly! This was why, despite Feng Zixi's laziness, her soul spirit had still advanced by over eight hundred years in just three months!

"Okay, okay! I'll go, alright..." Feng Zixi hugged Wendy back into her arms.

"Alright, here are two choices," Wu Changkong said. "One is for you to focus on improving yourself as much as possible on your own, and part ways with Tang Wulin and the others. The other is to team up with Gu Yue, and again, part ways with Tang Wulin!"

There must be a reason why Wu Changkong assigned them this way. Feng Zixi's strength is currently only individual; in real matches or battles, teammates are essential. Gu Yue is arguably the best fit teammate for Feng Zixi!

Feng Zixi can utilize the wind element and Gu Yue's other elements to create synergistic effects. Although not as powerful as a martial soul fusion skill, it can still produce a result far greater than the sum of its parts. Furthermore, Gu Yue's soul power is progressing rapidly; while not quite as advanced as Feng Zixi's, it's not far behind. In Wu Changkong's view, Gu Yue is a teammate who can grow alongside Feng Zixi!

Aside from Gu Yue, the rest of Class Zero seemed a step behind. Only Tang Wulin and Wu Changkong felt their potential matched Feng Zixi's. But...

Xie Xie's constant dissemination of certain statements has made Wu Changkong somewhat uneasy.

Although Wu Changkong understands Feng Zixi and knows he likes pretty young women, Wu Changkong doesn't trust Tang Wulin...

Regarding the relationship between Feng Zixi, Tang Wulin, and Gu Yue, Wu Changkong wasn't as gossipy as Xie Xie, but anyone with eyes could see that Tang Wulin treated Feng Zixi differently from the others.

It's best to separate if you can.
