Legend of the Dragon King: I am Genshin Impact

Chapter 23 Sheng Guyue

A ring of spirit rings bloomed beneath Gu Yue's feet. Gu Yue gently raised her hand, and a circle of azure light radiated outwards from her body...

Just as she was about to control the wind element, Feng Zixi smiled and said, "In front of me... you can't control the wind!"

As soon as Feng Zixi finished speaking, the wind element that Gu Yue had gathered instantly dissipated. Gu Yue could clearly feel the wind element gathering towards Feng Zixi, but there was no wind element gathering around her, which slowed her down like a rope.

What a powerful martial spirit! Gu Yue, as the Silver Dragon King, has unparalleled affinity for elements, but in her eyes, she is merely affinity for elements, while Feng Zixi seems to be the wind element herself!

With a wave of his hand, Gu Yue sent a small fireball flying toward Feng Zixi.

Feng Zixi chuckled. He remembered seeing a post while playing Genshin Impact. It said that all seven original rulers of the world were dead, leaving only the Anemo Archon and the Geo Archon. One was a diffusion, the other a crystallization.

In the game, diffusion and crystallization might not deal much damage, but in reality... while these two elements can't be said to be super effective against other elements, they are definitely not countered by any element either!

Feng Zixi raised her right hand and snapped her fingers lightly.

Bang!

The small fireball flying in mid-air exploded instantly, and a gust of blue wind blew by. The small fireball instantly turned into a pillar of fire and shot towards Gu Yue!

Gu Yue instantly conjured an ice wall in front of her. It wasn't that she didn't want to dodge, but the diffusion reaction was too sudden. She hadn't had time to react before it was right in front of her. If she didn't take it head-on, she could only use spatial elements to dodge.

"What is that?" Gu Yue wiped the sweat from her face and asked Feng Zixi.

"Oh, that's a diffusion reaction of wind element."

Gu Yue's vigilance deepened. She knew that wind could fan the flames, but it was impossible for it to make an ordinary little fireball so powerful. It was practically equivalent to the power of elemental fusion.

But... if it's about elemental fusion, then elemental fusion controlled by oneself or between two well-coordinated individuals is plausible. However, for enemy elemental attacks to instantly merge and be controlled is simply unrealistic! Not only could the Silver Dragon King not do it, but even the Dragon God probably couldn't!

Gu Yue waved his hand again, and three ice spikes shot out. In the shadows, earth elements surged, preparing to imprison Feng Zixi at the last moment.

"This place is off-limits!" Feng Zixi lightly stomped her foot on the ground, and the restless earth element instantly calmed down. Gu Yue, who could originally draw power from the earth, was instantly cut off from the earth.

Then, Feng Zixi flicked her finger, and three wind blades shot towards the ice cone.

Bang!

The wind blades and ice spikes collided and dissipated, but a cold current swept from the center of the collision toward the ancient moon!

Gu Yue's spiritual power was firmly locked onto that cold current, and he was shocked!

So, it really is elemental fusion? But... fusing the enemy's attack with your own attack to attack the enemy again, isn't that a bit too overpowered...?

A few drops of cold sweat trickled down Gu Yue's forehead; he was completely outmatched...

As a dragon king who controls the elements, the Silver Dragon King was at a loss as to how to attack when the wind and earth elements betrayed her, and the enemy also had an advantage over all elemental attacks...

Is she really going to engage in close combat head-on? She knew from Na'er how strong Feng Zixi's swordsmanship was; close combat would be tantamount to walking into a trap!

Ice, fire, wind, and earth have all been used; now it's time for light, but darkness and space have not been used.

Dark attributes are easily mistaken for evil spirit masters, so Gu Yue should avoid using them if possible. As for light attributes... they can be used for support, but you only get one chance to use them!

Gu Yue's first soul ring lit up, and ice spikes and fireballs continuously condensed and converged, bombarding Feng Zixi relentlessly.

Feng Zixi's response was much simpler: a powerful wind wall blew all the attacks back, and not only did it blow them back, but the attacks were also much stronger than before.

Wu Changkong had long seen that Gu Yue was top-tier in both strength and potential. However, she encountered Feng Zixi, a genius who was her natural counter.

Wu Changkong had personally experienced just how powerful that diffusion effect was. If Feng Zixi were a Soul Master of the same level as him, he wouldn't even be able to summon the Heavenly Frost Sword in front of her. One diffusion attack would cause him to suffer heavy losses before even harming anyone else.

boom!!!

The ice cones, fireballs, and the elemental torrent that Feng Zixi somehow fused together collided, causing mist to rise from the entire arena.

Seeing this, Gu Yue threw a white ball of light towards Feng Zixi.

Feng Zixi narrowed her eyes. Light element?

There are only seven main elements in Genshin Impact. Does the Light element react with the Anemo element or not?

Feng Zixi had had his fill of fun. After some probing, he realized that Gu Yue was no match for him. He gathered his strength and unleashed a tornado. Then, using his Thousand Winds Avatar, he vanished instantly and reappeared beside Gu Yue.

Because Feng Zixi had no intention of hiding her intentions, the wind element was extremely violent when she appeared. Although this made her easy to be discovered by others, it also allowed her to transform from wind element into a physical form more quickly.

Gu Yue naturally sensed Feng Zixi's attack intention. A flash of silver light appeared on her body, and she instantly disappeared three meters away.

"Wuhu, fight in my territory, nothing you do can escape my notice..."

Before Gu Yue could react, the blue wind rope wrapped around her tightly, circle after circle!

"Alright! That's it! Feng Zixi wins!" Wu Changkong glanced at Gu Yue, who was bound tightly, and said, "You've passed too! I can grant you admission, but you must first tell me your background and what your martial spirit is."

With a wave of his hand, Feng Zixi caused the rope binding Gu Yue to instantly disappear.

Gu Yue glanced at Feng Zixi with a complicated expression, then took out a letter from her bosom. "This is my recommendation letter for the junior academy. As for my martial soul, my martial soul is Elementalist."

Element?

Wu Changkong stated that he had never even heard of such a martial soul. Mastering six elemental powers—if the opponent wasn't a monster like Feng Zixi, it seemed practically invincible among those of the same level!

Seeing the surprise in his eyes, Gu Yue didn't hide anything. "I can control six elements, but my spirit rings can't be attached to any one of them. Therefore, I can control elemental changes, but it's difficult to make them stronger. My first spirit skill is called Elemental Tide. It allows me to maintain my spirit power for a longer time while enhancing my control over the elements."

Wu Changkong nodded, didn't ask any more questions for the time being, and walked towards the dean's office with Gu Yue's letter of recommendation.

Because Wu Changkong must have exhausted a lot of his soul power watching Gu Yue fight Feng Zixi, he didn't let her run with the main group, but instead let her rest with Feng Zixi for a while.
