Legend of the Dragon King: I am Genshin Impact

Chapter 108 The Battle Begins...

Feng Zixi stomped her foot hard on the ground, and a golden wave of energy instantly swept across the entire valley!

Rumble...

The valley began to shake violently! Beneath the dragon skeleton, the hard rock seemed to transform into a swamp, and a massive dragon skeleton sank into the earth. One could almost hear the rising and falling roars of dragons, sounds that seemed to express joy or gratitude…

Suddenly, dragon souls of all sizes appeared in the valley, rushing towards Feng Zixi.

After getting a certain distance away from Feng Zixi, it transformed into a stream of light and flowed into Feng Zixi's body.

The Zhongli template, which hadn't been growing very rapidly to begin with, saw its proficiency rise again with the blessing of the Dragon Soul energy at the Dragon King level. This time, the template unlock rate increased by a full two percent!

In less than half an hour, Feng Zixi had absorbed all the dragon souls. The only dragon soul left in Dragon Valley was the seven-colored dragon soul of the dragon god in the very center!

Although Feng Zixi could absorb that thing, both Gu Yue and Na'er were already her chosen wives, so she'd leave the opportunity of the Seven-Colored Dragon Soul to them...

Feng Zixi could sense that the gifts the dragons bestowed upon her weren't just the nourishment of dragon soul energy, but also an inexplicable protection. This protection served one of the functions of the dragon bracelet: that Feng Zixi was a friend of the dragons, and that the dragons could not directly harm her!

Perhaps it's because the Dragon Soul detected that Feng Zixi doesn't have the dragon bloodline of the Douluo Continent, so they didn't give their divine artifacts to someone unrelated like her...

After regaining her senses, Feng Zixi noticed that Fischl was looking at her with a strange expression.

Feng Zixi touched her face, puzzled, and asked, "What's wrong? Is there something wrong with me?"

"My familiar, are you sure you're not the Geo Archon of Liyue?!"

"No!" Feng Zixi rolled her eyes. "Compared to the Geo Archon, I'm more like the Anemo Archon of Mondstadt! But! I'm also not the Anemo Archon of Mondstadt!"

Although it shares the template of Zhongli, it lacks the authority of Geo, and its control over Geo elemental power is entirely forced. It's quite different from Wind...

"Phew..." Fischl breathed a sigh of relief.

"Let's go, there's no need to stay in the Dragon Tomb anymore." With that, Feng Zixi prepared to activate the Dragon Ball given to her by the Tang Sect and leave this small world.

Fischl suddenly grabbed Feng Zixi's hand, her face slightly flushed, and stammered, "My kin, those whose fates are intertwined with mine, after leaving this world, where will you go to fight...?"

Feng Zixi paused for a moment, then said, "As for me... I'd probably travel the world! What about you?"

Travel the world, check in at every possible location and with every person. Ideally, also visit the Abyss Plane to see if you can trigger the magical check-in system there. Once you have enough strength, return to Shrek Academy and chop down the Tree of Life! Then, fight the Plane Lord to the death!

"Me?" Fischl coughed a few times. "Hmph, to judge the guilty and consecrate those favored by fate, to shelter all unforgivable dreams in the endless, dark, pure land—this is the heavy mission borne by the bloodline of the [Princess of Judgment]!"

"What the young lady means is... she wants to go with you!"

Fischl blushed. "Oz!!! That's not what I meant!!!"

"Even if you don't come with me, I won't kidnap you!" Feng Zixi smirked. "From the moment we met, fate has intertwined us. Little Amy, you can't escape, hehe!"

"Hmm... Since you sincerely invite me, the princess, to travel with you, then I, the princess, will mercifully grant your request." Fischl seemed to realize something and hurriedly explained, "It's because of the proclamation of the Apocalypse of Fate, not because I like you or anything! In the name of the princess! Praise my arrival!"

"Hmm, you don't like me..." Feng Zixi grabbed Fischl's small hand and activated the Dragon Ball directly. "Fine, I'll like you, okay..."

"Hmm...wait, what???"

The spatial fluctuations choked Fischl back the words she was about to say, her little face flushed as she nestled in Feng Zixi's arms...

……

From somewhere in the vast, desolate space, a deep male voice echoed, "I sensed his hostility... Has he noticed the restrictions we've placed on him?"

"I'm afraid so. After all... he forced us to use methods that restrict the heavens and earth to restrain him, so it's impossible that he couldn't discover us..." Another female voice came from behind...

"He is the only variable and threat in this world! It's just a pity..."

While the identity of the Plane Master provides Tang Hao with many conveniences, it also comes with many limitations! He cannot act recklessly, as doing so could provoke a backlash from the world's consciousness, thereby losing his identity as the Plane Master!

Neither the Chosen One of the Planes nor the Tree of Life were acquired through legitimate means. The Tree of Life is somewhat better, after all… she has merged with the entire Douluo Continent, and even the world's consciousness cannot easily strip her of this identity. But… the Lord of the Planes is different! The position of Lord of the Planes is dispensable to the plane itself…

A good plane ruler can better manage a plane, but... there aren't any other negative effects from not having a plane ruler...

"It seems... we need to help Wu Lin grow up faster..." the man said.

"But Wu Lin is still so young!!!"

"Her father was already capable of entering the City of Slaughter at her age!" The man's voice suddenly deepened. "How about this, let Wu Lin first follow you to unseal the Golden Dragon King's power, and then I'll train her!"

The Tree of Life represents the life energy of the entire Douluo Star. With the blessing of this life energy, Tang Wulin's Golden Dragon King seal can be said to be foolproof.

However… the life energy of the Tree of Life belongs to Douluo Star and Shrek Academy. After all, every Sea God Pavilion Master of Shrek Academy merges with the Tree of Life before their death. Misappropriating this energy would be blatantly a case of using public resources for private gain!

Tang San's original plan was for Tang Wulin to grow up normally and acquire the rare treasures to unseal the Golden Dragon King through his own efforts. However... plans can't keep up with changes! The emergence of Feng Zixi as a variable meant things couldn't proceed as planned...

"That works too..." the woman agreed readily.

After all, Tang Wulin is their granddaughter. Using rare and precious materials to break the Golden Dragon King's seal in the outside world would undoubtedly be a tremendous ordeal, even jeopardizing their lives. However… borrowing the energy of the Ancient Tree of Life would ensure there wouldn't be any problems!

Does it matter whether that life energy belongs to an individual?

In the world of cultivators, the world's treasures naturally belong to the capable. Even though it's public funds, so what if they're misappropriated?!

"Go and inform Shrek Academy," the man's voice came. "I remember... Xiao San left a few soul beast friends in Douluo Continent. With their help, that variable shouldn't be unavoidable. Even if he manages to avoid it, those around him won't be able to! Even just delaying his progress a little will do... until Wu Lin grows up..."
