Legend of the Dragon King: I am Genshin Impact

Chapter 1 The Heart of God

Her consciousness was hazy; Feng Zixi had no idea what had just happened. The last thing she remembered was taking off her pants and getting into bed. Nothing seemed different from any other day. However, she didn't get up as usual after opening her eyes.

When I opened my eyes, what I saw was a blinding, dazzling light.

When Feng Zixi came to her senses, she stared blankly at the chess pieces floating in her palm. Was this some kind of magic trick?

Feng Zixi's mind stirred slightly, as if a gust of wind had blown by, and the chess piece spun in his palm following his thought.

What is this...?

Suddenly, Feng Zixi felt a throbbing pain in her head, as if she had been hit hard by a hammer, and then a torrent of fragmented but enormous memories washed over her.

A man in a blue and gold robe battles angels and demons alone; a man wielding a long sword fights a dragon alone; there are collisions between continental plates; there are wars, clashes, and fusions between nations...

After a long while, Feng Zixi came to her senses...

Am I... transported to another world? And... a soul beast in human form?

No, it seems... I can't become a soul beast either.

The inherited memories in her mind told Feng Zixi that the original owner didn't know how she came to this world, or even how she was born. In the beginning, she seemed to be just an ordinary wisp of wind, freely wandering this world, witnessing the evolution of history, the changing of the world…

He didn't know when he gained sentience, nor how he could become stronger; he simply remained stagnant, settling into his current state with the passage of time. Perhaps a hundred thousand years, perhaps even longer, a voice told him that living a different way might actually be better.

And so this transformation took place!

A soul beast's transformation takes place at the age of six, and its martial soul is its original form. Perhaps because the wind spirit isn't a soul beast… it failed to awaken its martial soul during the awakening process. Then, Feng Zixi's soul was summoned into this body, transforming it and fusing souls. The result… the martial soul awakened, and the awakened martial soul is this chess piece before us!

After sorting out her thoughts, Feng Zixi shook her little head and looked around with her big eyes. According to the wind spirit's memories, this seemed to be someone else's home, but the owner was not home at this time every day, so Feng Zixi chose to transform into human form in this house.

The simple, unassuming furniture resembles Feng Zixi's home before she time-traveled.

Feng Zixi walked up to a full-length mirror and curiously examined her current appearance.

With bright eyes and white teeth, a rosy face with a slight baby fat, a delicate nose and cherry lips, and long, smooth silver hair draped over his shoulders, he was so cute that he didn't look like a boy at all.

That's right, it's a boy!

Although wind spirits have no gender, humans who transform into human form can control their gender. When Feng Zixi first transmigrated, she even touched it and found that her little brother was still there, before letting out a long sigh of relief.

"So... I've transmigrated to Douluo Continent? And the current time period is probably during the Legend of the Dragon King?" Feng Zixi's beautiful brows furrowed slightly.

The era of the Dragon King Legend was neither good nor bad!

The advantage is that the God Realm no longer exists, and there are far fewer disgusting behind-the-scenes manipulators. If it were during the Douluo Continent II: The Peerless Tang Sect era, Feng Zixi, as the incarnation of a wind spirit, might never have become a god in her lifetime. As for the disadvantages, there are of course there as well. The main one is that the various forces in Douluo Continent are now very mature, and it is almost impossible to build one's own power base. In addition, there is the collapse of the combat power in the later stages, the spying of the Abyss Plane, and the final battle between soul beasts and humans. Without enough strength, one might not know when they will die.

"Hoo!" Feng Zixi exhaled and summoned her martial soul again.

The blue-green chess pieces seem to belong to the Queen's rank, and the more I look at them, the more familiar they seem.

Feng Zixi rested her chin on her hand and nodded seriously, if she wasn't mistaken...

This thing looks like the Heart of God of Barbatos, the Anemo god in Genshin Impact who doesn't do anything productive!

In Genshin Impact, humans who possess the Heart of God are called Genshin Impact. There are seven Primal Gods in total, known as the Seven Rulers of the Mortal Realm.

but……

Feng Zixi pursed her lips: If I remember correctly, the Heart of God doesn't seem to be very useful.

In Genshin Impact, the Seven Rulers of the Mortal Realm are powerful because of their physical strength, while the Heart of God is merely a tool to prove their identity. Perhaps... the Heart of God has the function of connecting to Sky Island, but this is Douluo Continent, there is no Sky Island here...

So... is this a useless martial soul?

After analyzing the situation, Feng Zixi was dumbfounded. She was supposed to be a person with innate full soul power, so it shouldn't be this bad, right?

[A magical check-in system has detected a host. Would you like to bind your account?]

Eh?

"Bind! Bind now!"

[The amazing sign-in system has been successfully bound! Congratulations, host, you have received a newbie gift pack!]

"Open the newbie gift pack."

Feng Zixi has been a bookworm for ten years, so he is quite familiar with certain tropes.

[Congratulations, host, you have obtained the template for the Rock King Emperor - Zhongli!]

???

Before Feng Zixi could react, the system spoke again.

[The amazing check-in system has detected that the current world can trigger a magical check-in. Check in now?]

"Just sign in," Feng Zixi mumbled, still half asleep. It felt like she was back in her past life, playing a game and knowing nothing, just clicking on the little red dot and claiming any rewards that appeared.

[A miraculous sign-in successful! Congratulations, host, on receiving the following sign-in rewards: World Rule Compatibility, Soul Spirit Gift Pack, and a standard sign-in system.]

[Ding! The magical check-in is complete. The magical check-in system is uninstalling. The magical check-in system is uninstalling...]

Feng Zixi's chubby face was filled with utter bewilderment. She hadn't even had a chance to learn about this system, and it had already uninstalled itself... it was just too absurd...

swoosh...

Suddenly, a light blue screen appeared in front of Feng Zixi, with seven large characters at the top: "Ordinary Sign-in System".

There are only a few options on the page.

One is a grayed-out sign-in button, indicating that sign-in cannot be triggered at this time.

One is a bright yellow backpack panel and a personal information panel.

Then a burst of dazzling light shot out from the pale blue light screen in front of her, swirling around Feng Zixi. Feng Zixi didn't feel any enhancement such as fever, but she felt a more comfortable sense of relaxation. It was like... the difference between being a guest at someone else's house and returning to her own home.

Protect the young grass...
