Elf: I Am a Farmer

Time flies, and it has been three days since Chiba Kaede and Kiku'er fought. This is also the day that Gadriya invited Chiba Kaede.

Since battling Kiku, Mira has been coming to see Chiba Kaede almost every day, and then they go to Raven Gym together.

Here, Xiaojuer provided him with a training ground, allowing him to borrow some training equipment from the Raven Gym to train his Pokémon.

Mira's enthusiasm stemmed from Chiba Kaede's help in refining her training plan for Serperior during breaks in her training sessions.

Thanks to Chiba's revised training plan, Serperior has grown at a faster pace in the past few days.

During this time, Xiaoju would also come over in her spare time to discuss some knowledge about elf training with him.

Chiba Kaede also benefited greatly from this. He was most interested in Kiku'er's training of the electric dragon. Through the exchange, he learned more about the training of electric dragons.

"Let's go!"

That's right, Chiba Kaede made plans with Kiku and Mira to go to the Battle Castle in Cattleya today.

Through Kiku and Mira's account, Chiba Kaede also learned that a grand Pokémon battle tournament was being held at the Battle Castle today, and that other Elite Four members from the Unova region would also be attending, with very attractive prizes for the winners.

This naturally attracted a large number of trainers who wanted to witness the prowess of the Elite Four trainers. However, it is said that apart from the trainers personally invited by Gadalia, other trainers who want to participate in this Pokémon battle competition must first pass the castle trainers' strength test.

As the Gym Leader of Raven City, Xiaojie naturally received a formal invitation from Gadria, while Mira needed to pass the Castle Trainer's strength test before she could participate in the battle.

Since Gadria's battle castle wasn't too far from Raven City, the three of them rode their respective flying Pokémon and quickly arrived at their destination.

This is a castle steeped in history, surrounded by high walls and encircled by a moat 5 or 6 meters wide. People can only enter the castle via a drawbridge.

The area outside the castle was already bustling with activity, with trainers landing on their flying Pokémon every so often.

Many trainers had already gathered on the grass outside the castle, chatting happily about what they had seen and heard during their journey.

Chiba Kaede even noticed many food stalls along the moat near the battle castle, a lively scene that surprised her.

The three did not linger outside the battle castle, but walked directly across the drawbridge into the castle.

Upon entering the castle, the first thing that greets you is a lush green garden, with many beautiful flowers and low shrubs planted in the flowerbeds.

In this garden, besides the trainers, there are many smaller, adorable Pokémon playing and frolicking, treating it as their playground.

As soon as Xiaoju appeared, she attracted the attention of most trainers. After all, in addition to being the Gym Leader of Raven Gym, she was also a famous model with outstanding looks.

"Miss Little Chrysanthemum, welcome!"

Soon, a young man wearing a tailcoat and glasses appeared in front of the three of them and bowed to Xiao Ju'er.

"Oh, it's Butler Shi Lan. Where's Cattleya?"

Xiao Ju'er was clearly familiar with Shi Lan, and asked directly.

"Lady Cattleya has been waiting inside the castle for quite some time. Please follow me."

Butler Shilan didn't recognize Qianye Feng and assumed he was Xiaoju'er's companion. She simply nodded to him and Mira, then gestured for them to proceed before leading the way.

Chiba Kaede knew a bit about Steward Shilan. According to the information he found online, he was also a powerful trainer and the pioneering leader of this battle castle.

That's right, the one who truly guards this battle castle is actually the steward Shi Lan, not Cattleya, the owner of the battle castle.

After all, Cattleya is one of the Elite Four in the Unova region, and she cannot stay in one place for long; she needs to complete the tasks assigned to her by the Unova Alliance.

This Steward Shilan is Cattleya's representative, helping her operate and guard this battle castle.

Soon, led by Butler Shi Lan, Qian Yefeng and his group arrived at a quaint and luxurious reception room on the top floor of the Battle Castle.

Upon entering the reception room, Chiba Kaede found several people already sitting inside, talking about something. When they saw them enter, they all looked at them.

After Chiba Kaede glanced around at the people sitting inside, he was somewhat surprised to find that Cynthia and Karune were also among them.

One of them is the champion of the Sinnoh region, and the other is the champion of the Kalos region. It's usually very rare to see either of them, but now they've gathered in this Battle Castle.

Besides them, there was also a burly man with dark skin and yellow hair and eyebrows.

However, Chiba Kaede did not recognize the burly man. He only knew from the powerful aura he exuded that the man was also a fighter, and a fighter who had gone further than him on the path of a fighter.

"Xiao Feng, I never expected to meet you here!"

Cynthia greeted him with a smile.

"I'm surprised too, it's been a long time, Miss Cynthia!"

Chiba Kaede smiled and nodded in acknowledgment.

"So, Xiaofeng, you know Cynthia! It seems inviting you here was definitely the right thing to do!"

Although Gadriya invited Chiba Kaede on a whim, it was only on a whim, so she was unaware that Chiba Kaede and Cynthia knew each other before.

In Cattleya's mind, Chiba Maple was a farmer who could grow high-quality berries, and she wasn't very clear about his abilities as a trainer, so she didn't expect him to know the other people in the reception room.

"Yes, I stayed at Xiaofeng's farm for a while before!"

Cynthia blinked, then said jokingly.

"No way!"

Cynthia's words drew attention from everyone present, who began to speculate about the nature of their relationship.

Especially Karni, who sits next to Cynthia; she and Cynthia are both rivals and good friends.

They took a special vacation to visit Cattleya's battle castle, partly at her invitation, but also largely because they wanted to spend a holiday together and have a good time.

"Alright, why don't you two get to know each other?"

Cynthia interrupted everyone's speculations and spoke up.

Cynthia was deeply impressed by Chiba Kaede. She felt that the boy in front of her was very magical, able to form bonds with many legendary Pokémon, and was also a powerful trainer.

Afterwards, everyone introduced themselves, and Chiba Kaede learned who the blond, burly man was—it turned out he was Lian Wu, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Unova region. (End of Chapter)
