Elf: I Am a Farmer

Chapter 25 Final

Chiba Kaede's eyes also reddened as he watched the Great King Yan fighting desperately on the battlefield.

In the period immediately following his transmigration, he managed to survive by fighting and competing for food with other Pokémon while still in its unevolved state as a Swellow.

Suddenly, a crimson energy emanated from the Great Swallow, which then moved directly close to the Altaria and used all its attacking parts—wings, beak, claws—to fight the Altaria to its heart's content.

"Brought back to life!"

Chiba Kaede recognized which skill the Great King Yan was currently using.

This is a fighting-type skill called Resurrection. The characteristic of this skill is that you need to attack the opponent with all your might. The more serious the injury you suffer, the stronger the power of this move.

Ultimately, the Altaria could no longer withstand the relentless attacks of the Swellow and fell to the ground, losing its ability to fight.

"Big Wang Yan, are you alright?"

Chiba Kaede looked at the Great Swallow struggling to fly and asked with concern.

However, at this moment, the Great Swallow no longer had the strength to respond to Chiba Maple, fearing that if it became distracted, it would fall into a coma.

"The Altaria is unable to fight, and the Swellow wins!"

Upon hearing the referee's words, the giant swallow finally breathed a sigh of relief. However, once it relaxed, it could no longer hold on and fell straight down from mid-air.

"Come back, Swan!"

Chiba Kaede's gaze had been fixed on Swellow, and the moment he saw it fall, he immediately used a Poké Ball to recall it.

"Excuse me, I must take my leave now. Wang Yan needs some treatment!"

Chiba Kaede said to Mochizuki Yuki, who was checking on the Tanabata.

"I understand. You should go get it treated quickly; I also need to treat my Tanabata!"

Although Mochizuki Yuki lost the match, she felt very satisfied with the exciting battle she had experienced. 😲♖ ➅❾ˢ𝕙Ǘ𝐗.cό爪🎁🔥

After returning to the players' lounge, Chiba Kaede immediately closed the door, released Swellow from its Poké Ball, placed his right hand on its body, and activated his ability to heal it.

Before long, Da Wang Yan's injuries had healed, and he had regained consciousness.

"Great King Yan, can you still fight? If not, let's forfeit. We're already in second place anyway!"

While life energy can heal the body of the Great Queen Swallow, her mental exhaustion requires time to recover.

However, the Great Swallow felt it could take on ten more, so it nodded to Chiba Kaede and then flapped its chest with its wings.

Seeing this, Chiba Kaede understood what the Great Swallow meant; it would not back down.

"Then eat some energy cubes and take a break while you still have some time before the finals!"

Chiba Kaede didn't really want to give up either. After all, they had already fought this far, and neither he nor the Great King Yan would be willing to give up now.

"Ha, you beat me to it again, but I won't hold back in the next match!"

Asha pushed open the door and walked out in a flurry of activity, clearly having won her duel with Uncle Maki Yoshihiko.

"Congratulations on your victory! But I will fight with all my might in the final battle!"

Chiba Kaede said firmly to Aysa.

Now that the competition has progressed to this point, Chiba Kaede is no longer just fighting for the championship reward; he needs to achieve victory together with Da Wang Yan, and then continue winning all the way, no matter who the opponent is.

"Lava Snail, use Sleep!"

Aysa gave the command to the lava snail.

With one hour remaining until the final match, Aysa has Lava Snail use its sleep skill to restore its full health and significantly alleviate its mental fatigue. «-(¯`v´¯)-« ➅1𝐬Ⓗ𝔲𝓍.cⓄ𝐌 »-(¯`v´¯)-»

Upon witnessing this scene, Chiba Kaede secretly resolved that after the competition ended, she would definitely go to the Pokémon Department Store to buy a TM for the Sleep skill so that Swellow could learn it.

"Go, lava snail!"

"Go forth, Great Swallow!"

Time flies, and the finals have finally begun. Chiba Kaede and Aysa have now released their respective Pokémon.

"Lava snail, murky fog!"

Aysa gave the direct order.

Upon receiving the command, the lava snail spat out a large amount of purple poisonous mist. Soon, the mist covered the entire area, causing the giant swallow in the sky to lose sight of the lava snail.

"Great King Swallow, use Gathering Qi!"

Unaware of Aysa's plans, Chiba Kaede did not rashly allow the Great Swallow to enter the poisonous fog, and instead strengthened himself.

"Lava Snail, use Iron Wall!"

As Aysa gave the order, Chiba Kaede immediately had a bad feeling. The Lava Snail's defense was already very high. If it continued to be strengthened, the Giant Swallow's attacks would probably be like scraping a scalp.

"Swellia carnosa, use Air Blade continuously!"

Chiba Kaede ordered the Great Swallow to use its only long-range attack method.

Instantly, a series of wind blades flew downwards, but because the lava snail's location was not clearly visible, most of the air blades missed their target.

However, Chiba Kaede's goal was not to attack the lava snail, but to clear the poisonous fog from the area.

Sure enough, as the multiple air blades landed on the ground, the resulting airflow dispersed the poisonous fog in the arena.

"It's no use. The lava snail has already completed two Iron Wall reinforcements."

Aya confidently addressed Chiba Kaede.

She had achieved her goal. After strengthening the Iron Wall twice, the Lava Snail's defense was incredibly formidable, rendering the poison mist ineffective.

"Lava Snail, use Flamethrower!"

Asha then gave the order.

Then, a terrifying burst of flame shot out from the lava snail's mouth, but the giant swallow quickly dodged it.

"The Great Swallow, with its lightning-fast peck!"

As Chiba Maple gave the order, the Great Swallow transformed into a bolt of lightning and flew towards the Lava Snail.

"bump!"

The giant swallow's attack did hit the lava snail, but it didn't cause much damage.

"Lava Snail, Flame Leap, Sweep!"

Aysa timed her attack perfectly. At that moment, the Great Swan was in a gap after its attack, so its reaction speed was a step slower, and it was directly hit by the Lava Snail's flame jet.

Not only that, but the Great Swallow was also afflicted with a burn status.

However, Chiba Kaede was not in a hurry. Instead, he smiled because Swellow has the Guts ability, and with the newly developed hidden ability Courage, Swellow actually has two abilities now.

When a Pokémon with the Guts trait is in an abnormal status other than near death, its attack is increased by 50%, and its attack that ignores burn becomes 50% of its original effect.

"Great Swellow, summon your willpower and unleash your mighty attack!"

"Lava snail, we can't give up! Use Flamethrower!"

As the commands from both trainers were given, Swellow, its entire body covered in a layer of white light, charged towards Slug, while Slug, not to be outdone, unleashed Flamethrower at Swellow.

This time, the Great Swallow did not choose to dodge, but instead charged towards the Lava Snail while enduring the attack of the flames.

"boom!"

With unstoppable momentum, the Great Swallow crashed directly into the Lava Snail.

Suddenly, a terrifying explosion occurred on the field, obscuring the figures of the two elves in the smoke and dust, making it impossible for anyone to see what was happening inside.

After the smoke cleared, Chiba Kaede saw a large crater in the field, and the lava snail was struggling inside the crater, trying to climb out.

Meanwhile, the Great Swallow landed not far from the pit and was struggling to stand up.

Seeing the two Pokémon struggling miserably on the field, the audience's hearts were in their throats, wondering which Pokémon would ultimately emerge victorious.

"Lava snail, use self-regeneration!"

Upon seeing the severely injured lava snail, Aysa couldn't help but give the order.

Upon hearing Aysa's command, the lava snail stopped struggling to get up and instead decided to use its self-regeneration skill first.

However, due to the severity of its injuries, the release of its skills was not very smooth, but its body was still slowly glowing.

"Big Wang Yan, are you alright?"

Chiba Kaede saw that the Lava Snail was already using its self-regeneration ability. If it could successfully use it, the outcome of the match would be basically decided.

After hearing Chiba Kaede's concerned words, the Great Swallow nodded at Chiba Kaede with difficulty, then slowly flapped its wings and hovered in the air.

"Great King Yan, use Resurrection!"

After seeing that the Great Swallow had recovered somewhat, Chiba Kaede immediately gave the order.

This is his last chance. If he fails to defeat the Lava Snail, he will lose the match.

Upon hearing Chiba Kaede's command, the Great Swallow mustered its last strength and flew towards the Lava Snail.
