Chapter 418 Respective actions

"Wow, looks like you've found me a big one."

In the enormous underground prison, Harley stared in astonishment at the monster covered in green scales, then waved to the crocodile-man, who was completely bound by steel, and laughed, "To be honest, we're from the same hometown."

After all, Arkham is full of talented people. Harley Quinn and Crocodile Man both studied at Arkham Asylum, so they can be considered "alumni".

"Harley?"

Seeing his former classmate in this damn place, Killer Croc was clearly overjoyed. He excitedly shook his body, grinning and shouting, "Quick, Harley, let's team up, wreak havoc, and bite Amanda's head off!"

Upon hearing this, not only did the nearby soldiers have strange expressions, but even Amanda herself turned pale.

This damn killer crocodile is such a brainless idiot, loudly discussing how to kill me right in front of me.

She glanced warily at Harley, who was staring at the sky as if lost in thought, and waved the remote control in her hand, saying, "I advise you to give up those inappropriate thoughts."

She glanced at the soldiers behind her, who immediately understood and carefully bound the killer crocodile's sharp mouth with iron chains.

"And then there's your second teammate, Captain Boomerang."

Amanda clapped her hands, and soon, a man in prison clothes, being shoved by two soldiers, walked into the prison hall looking annoyed. He muttered, "I'm a second-tier villain, and you don't even give me the most basic respect. Why don't you put me in handcuffs and leg irons!"

Amanda stared coldly at the Boomerang Captain and said, "No, you're not even second-tier; you're at most third-tier."

"Fine, you black bastard, you're really hurtful with your words," Captain Boomerang grumbled.

If there's anything particularly remarkable about him, besides his exceptional boomerang-throwing skills, it's his racism.

Amanda ignored Captain Boomerang's verbal attacks; she had already heard countless vicious insults when she formed the Suicide Squad.

"And the Fireman."

A man covered in tattoos walked lazily into view, his hands in his pockets.

"A fire person? Does he breathe fire from both hands?"

Captain Boomerang chuckled wickedly. He knew that anyone Amanda brought along was no good, but he just loved to be cheeky.

"Death Shooter".

A tall Black man in prison clothes walked into the cell.

This person, codenamed Deadshot, possesses exceptional shooting accuracy; he can be seen as an enhanced version of Hawkeye.

"Alright, there's one last one, who is also your captain."

Amanda looked behind the passageway door, and as she watched, a man in military uniform walked into everyone's view.

"Colonel Trevor is in charge of this operation and has full command authority."

"All you people need to do is obey his orders and act according to them, understand?"

"Now, all of you will board the fighter jets. On board, you will receive the location and mission details for this operation."

No one objected to Amanda. She glanced at the guards and then gestured for them to release the killer crocodile.

The killer crocodile, now free, didn't pounce on Amanda as it had previously claimed. Despite its fierce shouts, it was equally afraid of death.

"Colonel Trevor, this is your responsibility."

Amanda nodded to the man and left, handing the space over to Trevor.

After she left, Colonel Trevor rubbed his chin, glanced at everyone, and said, "I don't care how any of you got here."

"But with me, all you have to do is follow my instructions."

Trevor stood with his hands behind his back, his eyes sweeping over the crowd. After handing out a stick, he offered a sweet treat, saying, "I can guarantee your safety to the greatest extent possible."

Upon hearing this, many members' expressions changed slightly. They were all somewhat surprised. Compared to Amanda's behavior of threatening to activate the nanobombs on their necks and blow them into the air at the drop of a hat, they were more willing to accept Colonel Trevor's humane and caring behavior.

"So, let's get started."

Colonel Trevor waved his hand, and the group strode heavily toward the tarmac, where they also picked up their weapons and equipment.

"Buzz~"

A military fighter jet swept past steadily, and inside the cockpit, several members of the suicide squad sat in their respective seats, each with a somber expression on their face.

"Yao yao yao".

Inside the cabin, Captain Boomerang pouted and harassed Death Shooter on the other side of the cabin.

"Click."

His response was the sound of a deadly shooter chambering a bullet.

The black man fiddled with the gun in his hand, his face serious. He looked up at Captain Boomerang and said expressionlessly, "If you don't want me to blow your head off, the best way is to stop this stupid behavior."

"You're fierce," Captain Boomerang chuckled, clearly not taking Death Shooter's words to heart.

He continued, "You know what? We might not be coming back from this mission."

"After all, the task Amanda assigned us was not an easy one to carry out."

"In her eyes, we are just a bunch of consumables, a bunch of garbage that can be discarded and consumed at any time."

"Alright, everyone, let's stop worrying about the dangers of the mission."

Just then, Colonel Trevor suddenly appeared, interrupting Captain Boomerang's attempt to instill fear in everyone. He tapped on the glass and chuckled, "We've arrived."

"Everyone, prepare for landing!"

As the plane roared and hissed, everyone looked out the window as it moved.

Outside the window stretched an endless, dark sea.

Captain Boomerang scoffed:

"What, is our mission this time to fight sharks in the sea and decide the winner?"

The killer crocodile grinned and said:

"If it were a shark, I would crush its head with my fist and then tear off its fins to eat as shark fin, believe me."

Harley shook her head, her multicolored hair swaying back and forth, and exclaimed excitedly, "Wow, I want the biggest one!"

Trevor shook his head helplessly at these crazy fellows and said:

"No, your mission is to infiltrate that island."

"It's not about killing sharks or eating shark fins!"

Trevor reached out and knocked on another part of the window, and everyone looked in the direction he was pointing, and sure enough, they saw a small floating island there.

"Beep beep beep~"

Inside the cabin, red signal lights flashed, and the previously closed cabin door opened.

"Everyone, let's go!"

With Trevor's command, everyone took a deep breath, stood up, and jumped towards the sea outside the cabin.
