American comics: Starting with replicating Superman's talent
Chapter 409 I'll Lead
Chapter 409 I'll Lead
Everything was in complete chaos.
Upon receiving the information, the New York Police Department deployed officers at two locations to intercept the suspects.
Washington was also notified of the S.H.I.E.L.D. defection.
The crowd surrounded Stark Tower, practically ready to fight to the death.
Amid the chaos, a group of people boarded a S.H.I.E.L.D. Harrier jet and slowly flew towards a tower in New York City.
At the top of the tower, a group of scientists in white coats erected an antenna-like device and wrote computer programs around it, which then began to work busily.
Loki slowly jumped off the fighter jet and threw all the materials in his hand to the scientists he had brainwashed.
Let's begin!
He watched as a group of scientists added powerful chemicals to the device and then embedded the Cosmic Cube into it.
"I, Loki Odinson, will prove myself!"
Loki laughed wildly and spread his arms wide. With his roar, a dazzling, magnificent blue beam of light, as bright as a waterfall, shot straight into the sky, violently tearing a huge crack in the clear blue sky and creating a stable teleportation channel.
This scene was witnessed by many New York City residents who were panicked and pointed at the sky, speaking incoherently.
Although old New Yorkers have seen many big events, this is the first time they have ever witnessed a large-scale alien invasion!
From the torn rift, like an anthill, countless flying machines shot out like streaks of light, descending upon various parts of New York City and unleashing a bloody massacre.
Boom boom boom!
Beams of blue light descended across New York City, then exploded, causing secondary destruction. Countless people perished in this intense saturation bombardment.
A barrage of alien weapons bombarded the entire city, causing immense damage to the lives, property, and buildings of New York City residents.
It's ridiculous to even mention it. Even Americans know the principle of "when poor, use flanking maneuvers; when rich, use overwhelming firepower." How could aliens not understand this?
Faced with this insane situation, no one knew what to do.
Escape might be a good option, but how can you guarantee that you won't be blown up by energy projectiles dropped by aliens while you're running out of New York City?
But not running away is obviously not a wise choice either, since the alien invasion will not stop, and when alien bugs come knocking on the door, it will only bring greater fear.
Peter then understood what had happened.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it!"
Talkative Peter put on his Spider-Man suit in the time it would take to sketch.
Because Tony Stark had met Stark earlier through his teacher Ginobili's introduction, his Spider-Man suit was upgraded by Mr. Tony during the design process.
Not only do they possess the ability to fly, but they also have some unique and deadly weapons.
"Oh my God, Peter, what happened?!"
Aunt May and Uncle Ben were shouting downstairs, but Peter wasn't in the mood to explain to the two elderly people.
He looked at the crack high in the sky. As a top student, Peter naturally knew that the blue energy beam had opened a spatial channel, allowing these alien creatures to teleport to Earth at an extremely fast speed.
The first round of bombing has now ended.
Amidst the rising smoke of war in New York, Peter saw countless alien insects in flying vehicles reappear in the teleportation tunnel.
These monsters, clad in bright silver armor and wielding energy pulse guns, whizzed through the streets of New York City; clearly, their second wave of invasion had begun.
"Don't sit idly by and wait to die when you encounter trouble!"
Peter gritted his teeth, pushed open the window, shot a spider web at a tall building not far away, and then with a yank, flew towards that tall building.
Like a nimble spider, Peter clung to the wall, and just as a flying vehicle was about to approach him, he suddenly struck, kicking a Chitauri bug off the flying motorcycle.
Peter skillfully rode his flying motorcycle, and his sudden appearance attracted the attention of many alien insects.
These monsters spoke a language Peter couldn't understand, and then chased after him on motorcycles.
"boom!"
Another violent explosion interrupted the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents who were engaged in a firefight with Iron Man.
They looked at the scene outside with expressions of surprise and uncertainty.
The aliens have already invaded Earth, so why hasn't the director ordered an attack on them yet?
"What's going on?"
"Why is the director still ordering us to kill Tony Stark?"
A group of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents, kept in the dark, were completely baffled.
"Could it be that Tony released these alien monsters?"
At that moment, Tony, hidden inside his Iron Man suit, burst into a rage, yelling, "Can't you guys use your brains? I'm a billionaire! What would I do with aliens? Be their dogs?"
"That's right, there's a deep misunderstanding here. I suspect the rapid increase might have been switched!" Natasha quickly interjected, trying to sway the agents' minds: "Right now, the most urgent task is to fight the aliens!"
Just as the group was talking, several more violent explosions rang out, and then Ta Sha saw a figure break through a window and jump into the building.
Tread!
The spider silk he shot out stuck to the ceiling. Spider-Man Peter suddenly jumped onto the high-rise building, then flicked his wrist and shot out clumps of spider silk, knocking the weapons of the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to the ground.
"No need to thank me, Mr. Stark."
Peter's voice had a slightly teasing tone.
Without the mask, he's a shy high school student, but with the mask on, he becomes the talkative superhero Spider-Man.
"I wasn't thinking of thanking you."
Tony rolled his eyes in exasperation, but he was still deeply moved by Peter's support.
"How's the situation in New York City?"
Tony landed slowly, his feet touching the ground. While questioning Peter, he ordered Jarvis, "Mobilize all medical resources and direct the White House. This situation must be resolved with force!"
Peter responded, "It's complete chaos! Those alien monsters are killing people like madmen! Those damn bugs deserve to die!"
Peter spoke with a tone that carried a hint of gritted teeth. He was actually quite similar to Superman; he wouldn't kill anyone, but he would never show mercy to alien creatures.
After all, there's an unwritten rule in American comics: aliens aren't human, and alien lives aren't lives.
"I know."
Tony, quite exasperated, ordered again: "Jarvis, deploy all automated battle suits to the battlefield and protect the civilians!"
"Your wish, Mr. Stark."
With Tony's order, countless unmanned suits of armor quickly poured out from the basement of Stark Tower and headed towards various battlefields in New York City.
