Chapter 395 Seneca II

Near the edge of the universe, close to Oa.

"I don't know how to put it, but your arrival is not in accordance with the rules, and the guardians of the universe are too busy to see you."

Seneca withdrew the ring from his hand and gave the two of them a kind smile, showing no trace of the future leader of the terrifying Yellow Lantern Legion.

"So I suggest you go back."

Seneca waved goodbye, believing the matter was now resolved, and conjured a green flying vehicle to return to Oa.

"Please wait a moment."

Just as Senesto was about to leave, Gino suddenly called out to him.

"Don't rush off, I think we can chat a little longer."

Gino smiled and winked at Seneca: "I think we still have a lot in common."

"Common topics?" Senesto shook his head with a smile; this man's attempts to get close were really clumsy.

"Sorry, I have some things to take care of."

Senesto made up his mind; he had lost interest in the two men and was now going back to Oa to take care of some matters.

However, just as Sinestro was about to leave, he heard the blond boy say in a low voice, "I think we still have something in common, like that home planet you enslaved."

"I suppose enjoying the feeling of being above everyone else must be quite wonderful."

Upon hearing Gino's words, Seneca's previously calm expression instantly turned ferocious.

This future tycoon analyzed the pros and cons of the situation in just a few seconds.

Although he didn't understand where the other party got this information, letting this person live would be a huge threat to him, so there was only one thing he needed to do now.

"Ah, now that you mention it, I remember. Why didn't you say so sooner?"

Senesto approached Gino with a smile, as if they were old friends who hadn't seen each other in a long time. Senesto naturally put his arm around Gino's shoulder and then led him to fly towards a small tavern not far from Oa Star.

They landed in a tavern alley on this small planet, and the previously amiable Sinestro removed his mask at that moment. His face was ferocious and menacing as he stared intently at Gino, raising the green lantern ring on his hand: "Who told you this information? How many other people know this news?"

Although he had always scoffed at the Green Lantern Corps' ridiculous rules, Sinestro didn't want to leave the Green Lantern Corps yet, especially with such powerful equipment as the Green Lantern Ring. He couldn't lose the Green Lantern Ring, otherwise the people he had enslaved would tear him to pieces one by one.

The green ring on his index finger glowed with a vibrant green light, but Sinestro drew a kinetic pistol from his waist: "If you don't speak, I'll kill you all right here!"

Even if the other party told him, he wouldn't let the two live, but in Nistoro still hoped to know the truth before making any plans.

"Alright, don't use those little things to scare people."

Faced with Senesto's intimidation, Gino merely waved his hand dismissively. Then, Senesto said he saw the energy gun in his hand being twisted by some unseen force, emitting a sharp, metallic scraping sound, before exploding into a pile of scrap metal.

"You?"

Before Nestor could even react to what was happening, a hand gripped his neck tightly, and a painful, suffocating sensation spread throughout his body.

He found himself being lifted up out of thin air, and the intense pain caused Sesto to let out a low groan.

"You bastard!"

The green light ring on his hand burst forth with a dazzling green light, attempting to raise a green protective shield, but the green light dissipated like melting ice and snow the moment it hit Gino's body.

"What can a ring do?"

Gino smiled nonchalantly, looking at Seneca's ashen face. He figured the man had probably already anticipated his fate and what awaited him.

However, he still needed to use him for something later, and Gino didn't want to make things too awkward between them.

"Don't worry too much. I'm not here to expose your shady affairs. I don't care. I just want you to take me to see the Guardians of the Universe, your leader. Once you've done all that for me, I'll pretend I don't know anything about this."

Sinestro was not one to easily trust others, and he responded with a cold laugh, "Why should I trust you?"

Before he could finish speaking, an even stronger feeling of suffocation came from his neck, making it difficult for him to breathe. He heard the boy's voice, devoid of any emotion: "I could easily kill you, isn't that enough?"

After listening to Gino's words, Old Se fell silent for a long time.

"Alright, I'll take you to the Guardians of the Universe, but I hope you won't report me."

Under Gino's friendly "persuasion," Sinestro led the two to Oa, where they met the planet's guardians—a group of small blue men in red robes—in the most important hall on Oa.

"If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving now."

Senistok, not wanting to continue the conversation, left the hall, leaving the space to Gino and the Guardians of the Universe.

"Earthlings, what do you want with us?"

It seems that abandoning emotions really can speed things up. The little blue man in the lead was the first to speak, and Gino quickly responded, "I'm here to find allies to fight Darkseid together."

While Gino was speaking, Mr. Miracle was also observing the expressions of these guardians of the universe. He had always wondered if these guys could really be without any emotions.

Then he noticed that the moment Gino mentioned the name Darkseid, the dark tyrant, a look of fear flashed in the eyes of many of the Guardians.

Mr. Miracle recognized that look; he had seen it far too often on Apokolips.

But at the same time, Mr. Miracle also greatly admired Gino’s judgment, just as he said, these guardians of the universe are not as fearless as they seem.

After understanding Gino's purpose, the group of guardians of the universe exchanged glances, seemingly discussing something.

This discussion didn't last long. Soon, the little blue man sitting in the center chair shook his head expressionlessly and said, "I'm very sorry, but the Green Lanterns also have to deal with conflicts in various regions. I'm afraid we don't have enough resources to support you in fighting Darkseid."

"That's right, we will provide you with all support except for material assistance."

"We will help you condemn Darkseid!"
