Chapter 383 Idle Talk
Chapter 383 Idle Talk
This is a brightly lit space.
On an ordinary-looking chair, a figure sat upright and solemnly.
Oh no, one second he was sitting upright and proper, but the next second he lazily let his arms hang down.
"I existed in this world before all things existed, and I sat on the chair of Möbius, observing everything in the world."
The man's voice was deep: "To be honest, the birth, aging, sickness, and death of any living being are just passing clouds to me. I don't care about the passing of anything."
As the gaze moves upward, a figure dressed in black combat gear, but whose outline glows with a silvery-white light, is looking down at his right hand.
"Although I can only observe, I cannot interfere."
As the man spoke, he rested his chin on his hand and gazed at the distant starry sky.
He continued, "I have seen two of the most contradictory places."
"A planet called Apokolips, a planet where only pain exists."
"A planet shrouded in fear and burning with despair."
"The other one is called New Genesis, which is an integration of technology and a haven for civilization."
"It represents advancement, technology, and civilization."
"These two planets are like two sides of the same coin, which is very interesting."
"Every century, Apokolips and Genesis will come close to each other in their orbits."
"Earthquakes are raging in two worlds at the same time."
"The two planets are not only at risk of being torn to pieces by each other's gravity."
"Wars frequently break out between Apokolips and Neogene."
"The war between these two powerful planets always causes immense suffering and death, and may even destroy the entire universe."
"So I intervened before the war broke out."
"I did what others dared not do. I ordered the Inkstone Chair to take me to Apocalypse to sign a peace treaty with Darkseid."
"I hope that he and the Heavenly Father can exchange a son in the neutral zone and raise the two children on each other's laps."
"Of course I know Darkseid will not agree. That damned tyrant cares neither for his son nor wants the war to end."
"Unless everything in this world is under his control."
"Otherwise, he wouldn't have stopped the war."
"However, I saw that Darkseid refused, so I told him that if he agreed to sign the agreement, the Father would cease fire with him."
The man continued, "I don't know Darkseid's expression at the time, but he still agreed."
"So I came to the planet of creation and made the same request to the Father."
"Just like Darkseid's reaction, Talent refused without hesitation. He simply could not accept his child being sent to such a terrible place as Apokolips to survive."
Think about it, who would willingly send their child into a wolf's den? The child's mind might be warped when they grow up.
"But I told God Father that Darkseid had agreed, and I set my conditions."
"And unfortunately, one of our sons overheard our conversation, and the boy ran away in fear."
"The boy's name was Scott, and he cried and begged God not to choose him."
"But I played a trick on him."
"I lied to God the Father and told him that this was the only way to stop the war."
"They eventually agreed to exchange the two children."
"And the deal made using these two children was successful, thus averting the end of the universe."
"Although the fate of these two children was incredibly tragic, I was still able to successfully observe the universe."
"The universe has been successfully perpetuated through my scheme."
"And many years later, the apocalypse happened for the first time."
"I need to prepare myself; a mysterious creature has risen."
"For some reason, he possesses the power to devour the universe."
"He began to devour the universe, but the powerful beings of countless universes united and ultimately thwarted his plot. However, the universe inevitably collapsed and then burst open again in the process of gathering, just like the cycle of division and unification."
"The newly born universe became one, but the Watcher did not stop his advance."
The Earth in the three universes at this moment.
After the crime syndicate left, a bright silver light streaked across the sky like a shooting star.
A massive metal monster, covered in bright metallic sheen and whose skeleton was indeed entangled in a dense network of electrical wires, jumped off the aircraft he was riding.
The moment he appeared, a chair materialized out of thin air behind him.
Möbius watched silently as the monster walked toward the ruins.
"Long time no see, Anti-Monitor. I haven't seen you since the last universe was destroyed."
"I heard your head was used to make a bomb, but shouldn't you be dead?"
"And that Earth is indeed quite interesting, especially that guy named Gino Luther. Even Mobius questioned that he couldn't figure out his origins."
"Do you know who that guy is?"
Listening to Metron's incessant chatter, the Anti-Monitor's face showed a hint of impatience: "Shut your mouth, you damn bastard!"
The anti-surveillance agent raised his arm, and a laser beam as thick as a water jet roared down towards the figure sitting in the chair.
However, as the smoke cleared, the man sitting on the Inkstone Us Chair was unharmed. He even crossed his arms and said, "You haven't forgotten, have you? As long as I sit in this chair, your antimatter can't harm me."
"Of course I know, Metron, but I just want you to shut up."
Sitting in his chair, the man watched the counter-surveillance agents bustling about, his face filled with anxiety: "The universe has been reassembled and split countless times; it cannot accept another breakage."
Why are you so obsessed with destroying the universe?
"It's not that I'm obsessed with destroying the universe; it's that it should be destroyed!"
The Anti-Monitor completely ignored the incessant chatter of Metron, and with a cold smile, continued to raise his arm to withdraw the power from the planet.
"Damn it, stop!" In desperation, Metron shouted the Anti-Monitor's real name: "Mobius, if you stop, I can help you return to the beginning!"
"unnecessary."
Without giving Mitrom a chance to speak, the anti-monitor refused without hesitation.
"Fine, you forced me to do this. If you dare do it, I'll tell Darkseid!"
In desperation, the man sitting in the Möbius chair issued an ultimatum.
"Darkseid?" The Anti-Monitor seemed to have heard a joke. He raised his hand with a cold laugh, and then a blinding red light streaked across the sky and struck Metatron.
Metron, who had previously boasted that he was invincible, fell to the ground.
"I'm going to settle accounts with Darkseid; he's the key to everything."
