Chapter 380 and the World Tree

Walk through the lush green forest, its surface shimmering with a vibrant emerald hue.

Gino strolled through the streets and alleys of Asgard, heading towards the highest peak in the distance.

Every time he took a step forward, an immense pressure would come crashing down on the boy.

However, no matter how terrifying the invisible pressure was, it could not shake him in the slightest.

"I have climbed mountains and gone to the most depraved places in the world."

Gino walked slowly, but his figure flickered as he approached the World Tree.

The sacred tree growing atop the mountain looked no different from the lush, green trees that had lived for hundreds of years. From a distance, it resembled a hunched old man bending over and holding a large green umbrella.

But Gino wasn't there to see the scenery.

As he drew closer to the World Tree, the World Tree itself became incredibly agitated.

"Splash!"

The trees swayed, and the leaves rustled in the wind, making a pleasant and melodious sound.

However, countless emerald green lights shimmered and circled the World Tree like dazzling meteorites.

The reason was simple: it sensed a terrifying power emanating from this creature that looked remarkably like a human.

"Don't get agitated. I've come to you only to discuss a deal."

Just as he was about to break through the barrier surrounding the World Tree, Gino suddenly stopped and stared at the World Tree in the distance with great interest.

"Splash splash~"

The branches swayed, but Gino understood the World Tree's meaning: "What conditions?"

Clearly, as one of the ancient plant gods from the earliest days of Earth, and considering that the World Tree ran away from Earth to explore other realms, this great tree obviously has no interest in fighting.

"It's very simple."

Gino smiled and gently flipped his hand, causing a golden card to appear in his palm.

The intricate patterns and mysterious aura always left Gino deeply moved, no matter how many times he saw it.

He didn't know where this thing came from, but luckily he knew how to use it.

This thing is also my greatest reliance since I transmigrated.

So, tell me your answer.

Gino stared at the World Tree with a playful expression.

He saw the branches swaying, and then he heard the World Tree's unwilling but helpless answer.

When Gino descended the mountain again, a golden sapling tattoo had appeared on his wrist, making him look incredibly majestic and dignified.

But what is even more striking is the faint golden light that shines through his azure eyes.

"My plan has taken another big step forward."

The boy smiled as he looked around.

Many Asgardians were staring at Gino with angry eyes.

They wanted nothing more than to kill the demon who had destroyed their home.

But reality is cruel. After witnessing the boy's terrifying power, no one dared to make a move that would provoke his wrath.

"Odin?"

Gino's gaze swept across the crowd and landed on Odin, who looked like an old farmer sitting at the edge of a field.

The god-king looked carefree at the moment, clearly having also learned of Gino's news from the World Tree.

Although it's unclear why the other party only needed to touch the World Tree, Asgard was unharmed and the World Tree was not damaged.

So, Odin is very happy now.

"Mr. Gino," Odin greeted Gino with a smile, even taking the time to ask, "Are you going to participate in the reconstruction of Asgard?"

Clearly, the old man was joking about Gino destroying the Asgardian palace.

But the boy was equally thick-skinned. He smiled, shook his head, and said, "I won't participate. You guys enjoy the joy of labor."

After saying this, Gino turned and walked away into the distance, while simultaneously snapping his fingers to open a golden portal and entering it.

Earth.

New York City.

Without Loki's control, the Destroyer armor stood motionless like a limp metal block without its master.

Meanwhile, on the vast, abandoned battlefield of New York, Fury was jumping around excitedly like a chubby little boy: "Agents, hurry up and get this thing into the car!"

"We have to get it back to S.H.I.E.L.D. before that happens!"

As he spoke, the cunning bureau chief put on a righteous and awe-inspiring expression, as if what he said was true.

However, the stiff, armored man, who had been grappled with by several agents and was about to be towed away in a truck, suddenly glowed with a crimson-gold light.

"A generous gift, thank you!"

Fury looked terrified. Thor had only recently returned to Asgard, and now the only ones who could deal with the Destroyer Armor were Tony and Spider-Man.

But the two left not long ago, leaving only Fury and his S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

Just as the black chief was at a loss, the Destroyer armor that had been slowly standing up suddenly raised its metal head and then, to Fury's astonishment, flew into the sky with a "whoosh".

The enormous metal giant spewed flames from its legs, leaving a long trail of fire as it soared into the sky until it disappeared from Fury's sight.

"Chief, he's flown away."

An agent stared wide-eyed at the flying metal giant.

Fury glared angrily at the other man, pointed to his remaining eye, and said, "I'm not blind, I can see!"

Looking at the Destroyer armor that had disappeared from sight, Fury's face was filled with uncontrollable disappointment.

He originally planned to take the suit back to S.H.I.E.L.D. for research, but he didn't expect it to have an automatic tracking function.

Perhaps they ran back to Asgard.

Sighing inwardly, Fury remained expressionless and said, "If we temporarily seal off this place, we can go home."

As Fury was speaking, several of his agents looked up in astonishment, stammering, "Director, look at the sky!"

Fury tilted his head in confusion, then looked in the direction the others were pointing and saw that the armor that had left earlier had returned, flying down at a terrifying speed.

"Get out of the way!"

Fury's expression changed drastically. He thought the armor had left, but he didn't expect it to be meant to kill him!

Watching the giant tin man descend from the sky, crashing heavily onto the road with unstoppable momentum.

"All personnel on high alert!"

Just a second ago, Fury was ordering the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to disband, but now he's calling everyone back. He's the first to draw his pistol.

But when faced with the Destroyer's return, Fury reached for his phone in his pocket.

He planned to call Tony for help.

"boom!"

The armor kicked up dust, and Fury stared intently at it. Then he saw a person standing on top of the armor.

That familiar blond hair, and that wicked, all-knowing smile, made Fury grit his teeth: "Gino Luthor!"

"Beep beep".

The call was answered at that moment, and Tony's lazy voice came through: "What's up, Fury? Another alien invasion that requires your intervention, Tony?"
