Chapter 376 The Reign of Asgard
Chapter 376 The Reign of Asgard
At the same time that Thor was preparing to sacrifice himself.
A sudden burst of brilliant golden light erupted from the staff passageway of the Maria Opera House in New York City, not far from the battlefield.
A passage shimmering with golden light opened, and immediately, Asgardian warriors clad in golden armor and dressed like Saint Seiya figures filed out.
Their faces were etched with seriousness and a resolute determination in the face of impending war.
Then, as they walked out of the passage, they saw a blond young man in a suit standing at the exit not far away.
The other person's posture was languid, as if they were casually on a picnic.
"Midgard humans, get out of there!"
The squad leader of the advance team that arrived in Midgard spoke first, intending to drive the human away.
These Asgardian soldiers weren't some kind of bloodthirsty monsters; they figured that for ordinary people, all they needed to do was keep them away.
"We will take over Midgard, and all you need to do is cooperate and leave."
However, faced with the squad leader's ultimatum, the young man simply raised his head and gave everyone a knowing smile.
"Oh? You want me to leave?"
"But I don't want to leave now."
Seeing the boy's arrogant attitude, many soldiers showed impatience on their faces.
The squad leader subtly gave a signal to the guard beside him, who immediately stepped aside and walked towards the blond-haired boy, intending to teach him a lesson.
"I told you to get out of my way!"
The soldier raised his longsword and slashed at the other man's neck. If he was courting death, he couldn't blame them for being ruthless!
"Clang!"
The longsword, forged from divine iron, whistled as it fell, its cold light flashing as it slashed down towards the neck.
"clang!"
It sounded like the clang of metal exploding, the piercing sound echoing, causing many people to widen their eyes and reveal an expression of disbelief on their faces.
What did they all see?
The sword, capable of splitting stone, struck the man's neck. Instead of the expected scene of flesh and blood flying everywhere, the soldier holding the sword screamed in agony, and his sword shattered into countless fragments that flew in all directions.
"Finished? Then it's my turn."
Gino lazily raised his hand and then gently threw a punch forward.
boom!
A tangible air wave slammed into the crowd like an air cannon. Before they could even react, they felt a sharp pain in their chests and were sent flying in all directions like scattered billiard balls.
The first soldier to attack Gino was closest to the target. The moment his fist was thrown, an air cannon pierced his abdomen, causing him to bleed profusely. His eyes squinted, and he died instantly inside the tunnel.
"My back is broken!"
"Damn it, my legs!"
A group of people wailed and screamed in agony as they lay sprawled on the ground.
"You should stay here and not move. I'm going to Asgard to buy you some ointment."
As he spoke, Gino walked briskly toward the spatial passage from which these people had come.
"Damn it, stop right there!"
The vanguard squad leader struggled to raise his arm to stop Gino, who wasn't there to buy them medicine; he clearly intended to invade Asgard!
"Whoosh!"
As you step inside, the surrounding scenery changes.
The narrow corridor instantly transformed into a spacious and open area, with a crystal-clear rainbow bridge underfoot, illuminating colorful lights with every step.
Not far away lay the vast universe, and the cosmic storms that occasionally emanated from afar made Gino squint slightly.
Clark's X-ray vision allowed him to easily see through the figures standing in the golden temple in the distance.
Heimdall, the gatekeeper of Asgard and the eternal guardian.
The dark-skinned man stood quietly in front of the door, holding a longsword, while behind him stood a large group of Asgardian soldiers.
Everyone was slightly taken aback when they saw the boy who had suddenly appeared.
Then, in a brief silence, all the soldiers who were on high alert drew their weapons and charged toward Gino's location with a roar.
"Kill him!"
"Intruder, die!"
A noisy horde of berserkers charged toward the lone Gino.
But facing these roaring warriors, Gino merely glanced at them indifferently and sighed, "How many times have I told you, use your brain."
"You guys just charged straight at me like that, I really don't know how stupid that is."
As he spoke, he raised his palm.
Gino held a wisp of shimmering golden powder in his hand.
He raised his palm and blew on it gently.
sigh~
Countless golden dust particles scattered and flew in all directions, and were then inhaled by many Celestial Warriors.
The next second, these warriors, who were shouting and fighting for Asgard just moments before, all fell heavily onto the cold Rainbow Bridge as if they had suddenly fainted.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh!"
The deafening snores rose and fell, composing a sleep symphony across the vast rainbow bridge.
Little Red Riding Hood ran off to find her grandmother!
Gino hummed a tune and leaped lightly into the sky before falling like a shooting star, passing over the Asgardian army lost in their dreams. He swaggered into the golden "security room" and saw Heimdall, the gatekeeper, standing guard with a sharp sword in hand.
Why are you so serious?
Gino looked at Heimdall and tilted his head.
"Gino Luther, visitor from outer space, traveler from another world, you possess immense strength, terrifying magic, and an invincible physique."
Heimdall's dark eyes were fixed on Gino. He swore that the other was the most powerful being he had ever seen, and the pressure emanating from him alone was enough to fill him with fear.
Heimdall always believed that the most powerful being he had ever seen was Odin, the king of the gods.
But after meeting Gino, his resolve began to waver.
He discovered that some terrible thoughts were arising in his mind.
He felt that Gino might be even more powerful than Odin, the king of the gods!
"You're quite eloquent." Gino glanced admiringly at the gatekeeper who was said to be able to observe the six realms with his eyes. He only glanced at him briefly before noticing that Heimdall's hands, which were gripping the sword, were trembling uncontrollably.
"If you don't have the courage to wield your sword, then put it away." The boy's voice was indifferent, but his calm words were like a sharp blade piercing Heimdall's heart, causing his hands to tremble uncontrollably. Finally, the longsword in his hand clattered to the ground.
"I.I."
Heimdall watched with tears streaming down his face as Gino swaggered into Asgard. For the first time, he realized that he couldn't even muster the courage to swing his sword when facing a true powerhouse.
"Who can defeat such a monster?"
Heimdall had no one to confide in about his fears.
